I'm not having any issues with CM9 so far. Running great. Might be a bad download.
I've tried to reflash three times even the newest release has the problem

Works fine for me.
I flashed it a few hours ago and had no problems with shooting photos or video on either camera.
I tested out the camera quick to see if it worked and I could change settings and also use both the front and rear cameras.
I figured it out, it was a Theme I was using from the play store that was causing the camera options to disappear
Thank you

Front Camera

Yooo. Okay so my front camera just stopped working out if no where. Every time I try and switch to my front camera it will freeze and say camera failed or just stop and I'll have to kill the app. Same with instagram and snapchat. I was on stock when it happened and just now switched to the 4.3 ROM and its doing the same thing.

Strange black circle in middle of camera app

Hey guys
My S5 is just 5 days old and on my camera app it appeared today a black halo like black circle just in the middle of the screen (pic attached). I tried restating the phone, cleaning the lens and nothing. As you can see, the circle is visible in the actual picture. Have you seen this before?
Just note that I left in the plastic that wraps around the camera lens because I still don't have a case and wanted to avoid scratches to the lens. I just took it out after noticing the halo but is still the same.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Can you try downloading Google camera or another camera app of choice and see if it is still there? I would probably try a factory reset if that does not work, and then return it if a reset doesn't work.

Just tried Google camera and same results... Will return it tomorrow... Hopefully the won't give me a hard time because it's rooted

Camera freezes and reboot

This happens when I focus on an object with the flash enabled .after taking the picture when it again auto focuses it gives a crackling sound and freezes and soon after the phone reboots itself .
This is so frustrating. Lollipop has arrived but still this bug is living .

My wife's N4 has this exact same issue, I was able to reproduce the issue while running logcat and nothing really popped out at me. I'm going to be looking further into it.
