Please, can someone tell me how to add Sound Enhancer to a rom. I'm using this rom which works perfectly. But it doesn't have HTC 5.1 and HTC sound enhancement mode. But it has dolby. So, how can I add sound enhancer with HTC enhancement to the rom?
help?
Can somebody help me?
Which rom are you using?
I'm using a chinese ics rom.My previous rom had htc sound enhancements, beats, wow & etc. but my current rom's enhancement features has only beats, wow, dolby and others. So I need to know how to add my previous rom's sound enhancer to my current rom. There is a mod called "lyapota_MusicBox3" going around for one x. I think it will not work with the glacier. Please help me.

Because I cannot see any post from "guru" ABC. from whom the original Screen Rotate Service Idea came from.
And for the sake of others who may want to try this on their XDA 2.
Im posting the files for download, this was the 10/29 update.
But if there are new post from ABC and the other gurus here with respect to SRS, id gladly edit this post and withdraw.
Thanks and Good Day.
edit:
1. SRS will display under your settings, if installed properly, it will run correctly, if not, it will ask you to reinstall.
2. For those who have trouble running their camera after installing the SRS, i suggest you upgrade your camera version to 2.5 from 2.01.
posted is the camera2.5 upgrade.
Are you running SRS on ROM 1.60 ? Does it work?
Thanx!
im running it on a very unstable 1.66WWE ROM and no problems so far. hehehe...
checking...oh, a theme...thanks..
HI all, I have just been over to the HTC site seams there is an updat avaliable for download that fixes the Ringtone distortion.
It is only applicable to ROM versions equal to 1.35.xxx.x, or lower.
I have instaled it on my mini Rom version 1.10.206.1 (86611) WWE
just wainting for someone to phone me LOL
Visit the offical HTC website go to support / HD MINI /downloads

doesn't install on my vodafone mini although don't really have a problem with my ring tones lol
I have the "muffling-underwater" ringtone problem...
Does the Ringtone Clarity Enchantment fix this?
When i try to install it, it says that everything gonna be deleted (as ROM install)
Is this a ROM and will delete everything?
Can after install it, install a new rom too?
EDIT- I tried to install it but it keeps saying that phone is not connected...
The camera shutter sound cannot be disabled easily for those using the HD2 from Telstra (AU). So I made a one byte change in the original cameraRC.dll (mod date 06/11/09 1136128 bytes) file to fix the "feature".
1. Initially, to disable the camera shutter sound copy the attached cameraRC.dll file to the \windows directory replacing the existing one (or just rename cameraRC.zzz to cameraRC.dll if you are disabling the sound again - see step 2). Note: a hard reset will cause this change to be lost.
2. To re-enable the shutter sound, simply rename the cameraRC.dll eg. to cameraRC.zzz. There is no need to do any soft resets, just restart the camera application and it will use the original dll from rom.
Let me know how it goes. If there is enough interest, I will give a step by step walkthrough on what I did (useful to fix other models or dll version).
Is there any chance you could patch the cameraRC.dll of the Telstra Touch Diamond 2 ROM too?
It would be really awesome if you could
thx

Huh? Have they removed that option in the camera settings on the T9193? I got shutter sound there and can chose "on/off", european HD2 thou. Weird.
I wonder whether vendor ROM's are different. Mine is vendor-free, and I have the option of turning the shutter sound off in camera settings...
Yes they are it seems that turning off the camera shutter sound isn't allowed in Australia and so that option isn't there in Telstra ROM.
Using chucky ROM with my T9193. Sound can be disabled fine. If this was on the stock Telstra ROM, then i can see the problem.
Yeah sure you can disable the shutter sound if you flash a cooked or even non Australian stock ROM.
But I flashed my European (originally Vodafone Germany branded) Touch Diamond 2 to the Telstra ROM cause it seems to be more stable and faster than a non-branded stock ROM I tried before.
The only thing is that you can't disable that shutter sound in that Telstra ROM and when I searched for Telstra and shutter sound on the forum I came across this thread.
I know that this is the Leo HD2 section but as it's basically the same problem I thought it's better to post it here than to open a new thread in the TD2 section.
So it would be really great if you could explain how to patch that .dll @kcchan48
thx

Hi, i installed cynogenmod onto my phone the rom has everything i need.
Only thing which is really a letdown is the camera/Video recorder. (It seems to be very buggy)
Just wanted to know is thier any way i can edit the rom, so i can install the original htc Camer/Video recorder software?
thanks, any suggestions are much appreciated.
No, you cannot use htc apps on an aosp rom. can you just search before you post, they've been so many questions on this ==.
There are many alternatives, like camera 360.
