I'm having data connection loss upon connecting to the wireless charging orb with my Nexus 4. Anyone experience this or know why this could be happening?

does otg y cable works with data card and nexus 4??
or is there any way to connect 3g data card to my nexus 4
if there's no way to connect directly can I reverse tether (connecting data card to laptop)?
Best solution for me is to get a data sim and a Wi-Fi 3g router and make a small hotspot.
In this way you connect your nexus wirelessly and you save also the battery, as the Wi-Fi uses much less battery then 3g.
Also, one other benefit is that you can connect as many devices add you want.

Have you tried different radios?
Hello,
I use my phone as a dedicated modem for my pc. I used to have an S5 that did the job pretty decently, now with the S7, I can only tether for a few minutes before the internet connection is completely shut down on the pc's end, the phone keeps connecting to the internet without any issue. I then have to disable and enable the tethering back again to get it to work.
This only happens when using USB Tethering, WiFi hotspot works fine.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Hi
Stock ROM, try to connect an ASUS laptop to the hotspot.
USB tethering works fine but charges the battery too high / drains the laptop battery.
I swear in the past it wasn't so sensitive but now I connect but seemingly as soon as I try to do anything on the connection, it dies.
Anybody else experiencing this sort of continual flakeyness?
Tried all the options I can think of:
- 2.4 v 5Ghz band flipping
- Disabling DNSfilter (though USB tethering works fine with it on)
- disabling power saving on the laptop WiFi adaptor
Possibly more changes I can't recall just now.
Would appreciate any constructive ideas, thanks for reading!
