I believed my droid x is bricked..
I have tried to use MANY different types of SBF files and using RSD lite to originally downgrade so i could put cyanogen mod on it now no matter if the rsdlite thing passes or not (And i've tried sbfflash or whatever it is called on linux and ive tried live cds and live usbs)
any sbf file i try it always crashes or goes back to this screen!
I've been trying for atleast a day now to fix it with no results.. Please help..

I installed AOKP 4.4.4 1 year ago, that's made for this phone. And the Bootstrap is broken and it won't show, so, right now, I can't boot into TWRP. AOKP 4.4.4 broke the Bootstrap.

It just stays at the Motorola logo for 5 minutes. Then it goes to the AOKP bootanimation, and it sticks there for ever. When you say the bootloader, do you say like where you flash the .sbf files? There is no Bootstrap anymore. Bootstrap doesn't show anymore.

ok i've followed this guide but i'm stuck cause the nandroid backup's link doesn't work, i'm becoming mad, i don't know what to do to restore my phone..the eclair sbf is the only one working on my phone, the other doesn't work..
I was running the Vortex ROM for several months now. This morning, my volume rocker wouldn't stop increasing the ringer volume. I couldn't do anything, so I pulled out the battery.
The phone would then boot till the Android exclamation sign and wouldn't go any further. I pulled out the battery several times while at that screen and now it refuses to even go beyond the bootloader. I have drained my battery completely
Please, help
I've got a battery charger that works with any battery. Hopefully, battery won't be an issue now

As mentioned in the OP, I don't see the android recovery now. All I see is the "Google" logo. This replaced the Motorola logo since I had flashed the Vortex ROM.
Powering on the phone with both volume keys pressed takes me to a screen that reads "Bootloader 30.04. Baterry OK. Ok to program. Connect USB data cable."

Those of you that have Google drive and the latest update, you qualify for an additional 50 GB of storage. If you have drive already installed and aren't receiving the 50 additional GB, clear drive data and then re-run it to receive the bonus.

Hold down power and up for a few seconds then let go off power and it'll bring up the menu. It can be finicky so if you happen to reboot try again. When you get to the menu it'll allow you to flash update file
after you select recovery and you get the exclamation its not picky just hit volume up by its self and then power button right after you hit volume up with volume up still pressed in and it will instantly go in every time . It just likes you to hit volume up key before power key

Trust me I don't have posts on the forum but I've done this since the original droid. Vol down and volume gets you to fastboot like you said. If you have stock recovery it gives you the android with ! which is what you want. At that screen you have to do what bluh5d posted. If that still isn't working then you'd have to rsd lite back to stock. The android ! IS what you want to see.

It's not specific to the forum, because people that have been rooting unlocking etc for awhile already know. That's what the forum is here for, questions.
Ok, this may be multiple issues. First I fell of a ladder this week and landed on phone. Screen is good, but ever since it died from battery loss while i was in hospital it only boots into fastboot. I have never flashed and update nor rooted this phone as I have never needed it on this device. Second, about a week before the fall I bought a 32gb pny class 10 card and installed. I do not believe this is the cause of the problem but who knows. This still happens with my sandisc 8gb card that is why I do not think it is the card.
Anyways, the only work around i have when this happens is to connect to my computer, start up the adb server and enter "fastboot continue".
the phone then boots fine and seems to be working great, but it is like a memory leak or something is going on because it keeps slowing down, almost freezing.

Not sure what you are asking for besides maybe the build number which is 9.8.1Q-94-1
System Version 98.30.1.xt907.Verizon.en.US
Might add that when I fell off the ladder landing on my rear, my phone was in my back pocket.
Not much cushion as I am skinny as 7734.
Glad I took out the extra insurance. Guess I will call verizon after Christmas to see what they suggest and maybe someone will have a suggestion.
Not sure about RSS, scared to touch the thing atm because of the extra insurance.

Rss? Rsd.
Seems within the relm of the possible that the shock could cause a memory disruption yet leave the hardware functional.
A restore is worth a try.
Just load rsd lite & with the (press all 3 keys & hold till screenout, toggle power, vol down to scroll to ap fastboot & vol up once on the ap fastboot) phone plugged in see if rsd recognizes it!

Never get a fastboot menu, am I missing something?
Ok, held down all three buttons until screen went out (powered down), then hit power (not connected to PC), device went to fastboot reason "Flash Failure". Hit power button, hold volume down and hit power, reason changed to button press.
connected phone to computer and launched rsd lite. (sorry about my fat fingers before, I am still hoping the nerves in my hands recover from surgery)
Attached is the image of my RSD with Phone attached. When I hit "Show Device" nothing happens, only notification of anything is line 1 saying connected.

You are locked & there is no downgrade.

Does the RAZR go into fast boot with the cable? If it does then I have to think he broke his USB port and if that is then why are you flashing?

Pull battery, hold r key, reinsert battery, connect to wall charger

If you are reinstalling cm7, just install the cm7 bootmenu at same time.
so every time phone is booting, at the blue LED press volume down, and you will have option to boot cwm
