Hi guys
There are numerous things wrong with my phone, but i'll just go though the series of events:
[ Video of attempted boot Search LG GT540 Bootlooping on ytube, first video ]
1: Tried to install a rom that requires bigger partition size [Enigma rom, mikegapinksi's ICS rom etc]
2: found out how to change partition size [Mur4ik's tool] does so.
3: Engima rom fails to install from clockwork mod, tries fastboot but gets the infamous Too Many Links error, still able to write the boot image and recovery image though...
4: Tries to boot device, White LG Logo normally appears, swiftdroid logo briefly appears and then the normal LG flashy bootanimation, but after that, nothing.
5: Trying to write a system image to the phone using the Fastboot commandline reports "flash_write_image: image undersized (128 < 2112) on the device itself, and remote write failure on the PC
KDZ seems to throw various errors, WParam: 100 and Lpara,:1002 etc., sees the device in "scan for phone" though
Fastboot mode and Recovery still work, but booting normally throws normal LG Logo, then swiftdroid briefly, then Flashy LG bootanimation but NO FURTHER
Any help [Reccomended ROMs, procedures etc.] would be VERY much appreciated thanks ^^
Trust me ur phone is not bricked!
Although it is a bit stuffed up, If u can flash fastboot
again using KDZ and everything will be solved!
Just to clarify, do you want to reflash a fastboot image on to my phone?
if so, how would I do that?
Yes just flash fastboot again using KDZ.
Its not an img its a rom..
I can't use bootloop nor download anymore after leaving the battery out, And Hard reset does nothing in either modes. ClockworkMod still boots fine and i've had KDZ pick up the phone form that before...
DAMN!

Here's the previous error:
-----------------------
Hi.
I've tried this night to flash the 4.4.2 "official" update. Installation was a breeze and I rooted shortly after the install, as I would lose Recovery.
Phone booted up, but I had no network signal. I've set the phone up and noticed the IMEI was listed as "null". Bad news.
I had a EFS backup, it was on the phone, but I had no recovery anymore.
I heard I had to go back to stock using LG Flashtool and some KDZ files. I've managed to get my version' KDZ and the proper Flashtool, but every time I reach 47% (49% on the phone's screen), it would say this:

The Download mode says "ROOTED" in red, even though my firmware is stock, without any superuser app, so I can't use the warranty here.
It seems that it detects it "ain't" a D805 (as it has a D802 firmware flashed) and halts the installation.
I've tried almost everything on the book (disabling LG Modem, changing COM port to 41), but I didn't try changing computers. Will do tomorrow.
After several tries (since 8PM), I've tried to download and install the D802 stock ROM.
It worked! It flashed successfully and booted right away... or so. It needed a hard reset, as it was bootlooping (probably something from the 4.4 KitKat ROM)....
........................Do you see the sh*t I did there? The EFS backup is lost. I hope the EFS itself ain't lost, but the modem version is wrong or something. The IMEI can still be detected by the LG Flashtool.
So, on to booting. It booted alright, but without network signal as I expected (D802 modem). Funny thing is that the modem differences between the D802 and D805 is just the 700MHz(D805) and 800MHz (D802) 4G LTE and some other high frequency 4G LTE. The HSDPA 3G/GSM freqs are the same, but it ain't getting signal.
But, after a while, I started getting choppy transition effects and a toast with the text "Error" that couldn't be skipped (by clicking). And it would hotboot shortly after. And keeps doing this until I shut it down (sometimes it wakes itself up, even). I've managed to enable developer mode and check the ADB Debugging so I could root and install a recovery (I have a full NAND backup from my original D805 firmware, and the proper modem right here for flashing), but ADB cannot find the device for some reason. The RSA fingerprint doesn't pop up on the screen, and it keeps hotbooting anyway, I think it would be extremely risky.
I can trigger the hotboot faster if I head to About Device and go to Network Status or Software Status (or something in that lines), then the "Error" toast shows up and it hotreboots. I think it tries to read something, but it can't, so it reboots.
I even enabled Airplane mode, but it didn't help at all.
I can trigger the hotboot EVEN faster if I turn the screen off and try to wake it up. The LED would light up and keep on, then the LG logo would show up.
I've downloaded the D80510A and D80510B, but they both don't work! Gives the same error output.
I have other two LG G2 D805 here from my family, and I can gather any data from them, if necessary.
I'd love to contribute to the person who finds a fix for this, but I'm in the lean cows time. I can't afford to buy a phone in the next 6 months (or to lose this one), but rest assured that when the sun shines upon me, I'll pay you a great beer =)

Twice? I can flash the stock ROM, but the D802 Int. version. My phone is D805, so I think there's some Modem incompatibility, that makes it mad
Solution !
friend, I was desperate bit here too, did the same thing , however after hours awake at dawn could solve .
first of all , keep in mind that your device is now : D802 , or download a stock ROM D80210B .
apply it with flash tool and it will turn on , however , without your MODEM ( imei and related )
go now to:
Settings / About Phone / Software information .
Now is a boring part , the unit will stay reinciando due to the MODEM , so be quick tap Version software and see if you can tap into fast "number of assembly " to free the programmer mode !
doing so, enable USB debugging and try flashing the TWRP via " [ Tool] [ All In One ] By OptimusRs Simple Tool V3 "
the tool from the following commands : B, 1, 2 , 3, 4 .
doing this it will install the recovery for you .
between the recovery and install your modem , I used this : http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/G2_modems/LGD805_10A-724_RADIO.zip
will likely need to install via sideloading !
anything catches my inbox

after applying the 4.4.2 update, the device no more accepts D805 stock ROM, only the D802

>get this: http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/G2_modems/LGD805_10A-724_RADIO.zip. This is the proper radio for our D805 phone. Other variants can use their own radios.
>boot to the recovery (yaaaay) and flash the modem. This will fix EVERYTHING. Screen can be turned off, **** will start to update and you can see your IMEI again. Horray!!
>keep your tail under your legs and keep on 4.2.2 stock, flash your favourite ROM or just change the modem.img from the kitkat ROM with the modem.img you downloaded previously (this is going to be tested by me right now. I'll report as soon as possible)

Big thanks again to @waallace for the tip. I was having some issues here because my computer wasn't detecting my LG G2, but the installed drivers were generic (maybe due to my Nexus 7), and not LG specific. Swapped to specific ones and it detected.
I have encountered the same problem. You can flash your phone to stock 4.2.2 use KDZ file. The detail settings as the picture.
@GTMoraes i think you choose the hard way, and i need to tell you,the phone is not a D802 now. and no one need to accept that, there are more easy ways (i past for this and i learn how to fix whithout flash a D802 kdz) than make your D805 a D802 G2:
1. Uninstall your drivers and install again
2. Just replace the the phone build.prop for a D805 build.prop reboot and flash your D805 kdz, done.
3. if you done have a D805 build.prop just edit the one you have and change all d802 lines for d805, reboot and flash your D805 kdz, done.
4. try the @monkey5i solution ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50751778&postcount=9), it works too.
5. if the 2 past ways dont work for you, do this:
- follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475045
- for the guide use this tot file http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprim...N_LGD805AT-00-V10a-724-05-AUG-23-2013-16G.zip and the attached dll file
- follow the guide and done, this guide unbrick any LG G2 Variant whit the proper tot and dll file.
6. share this post for any who have problem going back to stock or the 49% flash error.
I had an similar problem when flashed the VDT kitkat (bzzzz)
I Solved flashing an KDZ from jellybean d802, (had to try several firmwares, most of them gave me reboots all the time, and i didn't had custom recovery on kitkat, then i found out that putting it on plane mode stop it from rebooting).
installed recovery, then got all bin partitions from D805 KDZ using kdz extractor and flashed them with recovery this way:
package_extract_file("boot.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/boot");
package_extract_file("aboot.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/aboot");
package_extract_file("dbi.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/dbi");
package_extract_file("laf.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/laf");
package_extract_file("persist.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/persist");
package_extract_file("recovery.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery");
package_extract_file("rpm.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/rpm");
package_extract_file("sbl1.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/sbl1");
package_extract_file("tz.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/tz");
package_extract_file("misc.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc");

can i say a little words?
all of these steps are right, but you can do more (i did.)
after all the "FIX" steps done you can edit or copy the D805 build.prop file and then be able to flash the original D805 KDZ.
i mean, when i fix my phone i manage to do almost the same way you did, the only diference is that when i got the D80210A working i just root it and "cat /pathtod805build.prop > /system/build.prop", after that i shut it down and goes to download mode directly flashing my IMEI KDZ.

i used the extractor to get the DZ file, then i used the DZ to get the system.img, then opened the system.img with Extviewer for windows to get my build.prop file. i dont use the others bin like you did, but got the same result, my original D805 stock working again.

i found a windows program to do that, its attached, it will be good if you thank the author of the program in his thread, just google it.
*read my instructions, i think will be faster then use the bins.
** i think all d805 can be recovered using this build.prop i posted here: http://adrenaline.uol.com.br/forum/showthread.php?t=492046&p=1069538956#post1069538956

It works when you put only an D802 custom rom that writes only on System.And is even easier just wipe System before flashtools, does the same job as build.prop edited.The big problem here was stock based kitkat roms for D802 on D805, or D802 KDZ, those flashes overwrote some partitions that, even with build.prop changed or System wiped, made flashtools believe that the phone was an D802, that's why I flashed the other partitions.
Anyway, the configs described by @monkey5i on R&D Test tool works better than any other solution, already used twice.

Yes, from G Pro 2 ported rom and from Kitkat Stock D802, without lifting a finger, just selected d805 kdz and flashed.
