Did you wiped the /system folder? I did it when I tried to install the CM10 and happened the same. So I copied the CM10 .zip to the sd again, entered in CWM, reinstalled the ROM and it "works". L5 reboot after 4/5 min. Maybe after verifying the sd card, but I unmounted the SD and tried without it and it still rebooting. Now i'm stuck on it. Tried with 2 diferents bootloaders... Tell me if it works for you and runs fine.

xmee, e612f boot loop or stuck on LG logo screen?
I solved my problem with the boot loop just using the e610 bootloader. The e612 bootloader caused the boot loop, but e610 worked
Just do again the "Unlocking Bootloader" step on this post with the e610 bootloader:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2186161
You'll need to change the recovery too, to a e610 compatible version. After that you can install another ROM without problems!
I think that your problem will be solved too.

Try it, if it doesn't work, flash factory image with fastboot, it's not hard.

directly with the fastboot how?
If you flashed stock recovery again do a wipe data/factory reset in the menu and it should fix it.

Hello, I was using my LG-E612g (the South American version) , and I was installing CWM through ROM Manager. I was hesitating to do it since it said e610 and not e612g, but I did it anyways, so when it was done flashing, I started it up to find out that there was an error occurred, saying something like:
SECURE BOOT ERROR
CAUSE: BOOT RECOVERY VERIFY
Help please?

Keeps saying 'Waiting for Device"
One of my brother's friend made "something" to my brother's phone trying to update it.
In short, he bricked the phone (p700), which is looping on boot animation.
What I tried so far:
-I used KDZ and pushed the V20A_00.kdz that has CWM 6.0.2.8, still no boot
-I tried to install a Custom Firmware got error "Status 7" telling me that the CF I wanted to install was for the p700 and my device is a "u0"
Now I'm stuck at this point, what am I doing wrong?
-I thought of pushing a valid p700 build.prop through ADB, but "su" command doesn't work.
-I thought of editing the "scriptupdater" file of the CF, first I tried with this method this time it doesn't give me "Status 7" but it aborts the installation without furher explanation
At this point I'm starting to lose hope, I really want to fix this, please, could you help me?

When I don't edit the "getprop" part of the updaterscript I get "status 7" error as expected. "This is for p700 devices. Your device is u0"
When I do edit it: "installation aborted"
I will search for it tomorrow, for now i must sleep, its 00:00 in my town,am sleepy.

You have to update your recovery with Rom Manager or flash the latest TWRP with CWM ( TWRP is an other recovery ) ! No need to edit anything !

Sometimes, the problem happens when your recovery is outdated. So, download ROM Manager and in the app you'll be able to update CWM. If it's already update, download TWRP by @tudorsbird and flash it with CWM. Your recovery will be TWRP but you won't be able to restore backups performed with CWM. If you can't boot but have a SD card, you can put TWRP on the card and flash it.
Or, you can try this ( with Fastboot ) to flash a new recovery :

Hello Moto G Users
i recently rooted my MOTO G after 4 hours of hard work..actually it was easy..but i got very confused with different types of threads and methods..like modaco...i was unable to choose which method to use ?..should i downgrade to 4.3 bootloader or not ?
So i thought to make a new thread..And i tried to make it simple for new users.....so here it is
How to Root Moto G
There are are three simple steps only
1. UNLOCK BOOTLOADER
2. FLASH CUSTOM RECOVERY [I USED CWM]
3. FLASH SUPERSU
DONE
Yeah ...you don't need to downgrade your bootloader which is very risky
Procedure
1. UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER :- i thinks its already explained well at different sites and motorola's site also [ i used this guide Moto-g-unlock-bootloader-and-root only for unlocking]
2. FLASHING RECOVERY-
You need 3 things
(a) motorola usb drivers [download from here ]
(b) adb drivers (download from here ]
(c) Custom recovery (download from here ] i used cwm without touch OR USE PHILZ RECOVERY (4.4.4) CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD
Real procedure:-
1. install motorola usb drivers
2. extract adb drivers anywhere in your computer
3. copy recovery.img [i renamed it to only recovery] into adb tools folder
4. boot your phone into fastboot mode by pressing volume down key and pressing power key simultaneously , and then releasing power key .
5. connect your moto g to your computer through data cable
6. go into adb tools folder => while pressing shift key => right click => and click open cmd here !
7. type [fastboot flash recovery recovery.img] and press enter { IGNORE Mismatched partition size' AFTER FLASHING RECOVERY }
DONE just press volume down and then volume up to boot into cwm
3. FLASHING SUPER SU
1. DOWNLOAD THIS FILE FROM HERE
2. PUT IT IN INTERNAL MEMORY
PROCEDURE => IN CWM =>INSTALL FROM SD CARD => CHOOSE SUPER SU => RESTART
It will ask 'root is broken' WHEN REBOOTING FROM CWM. CHOOSE YES
DONE !
I recommend these apps you should install first after rooting
1. Greenify (getting awesome battery backup )
2. xposed installer
3. gravitybox
4. tinted status bar (i love this module..make your android like ios7)
5. Titanium Backup
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING !
reserved !
if needed
excellent buddy..
will try it now on my Moto G
Update - works perfectly.. rooted my MotoG Dual Sim Indian version successfully..
My device is not able unlock due the Motorola unlocking site said my device is not eligible to unlock boot loader what to do?
Sent from my XT1033 using Tapatalk
@Aashish-kkhckr you just forgot to recommend Titanium backup the must app immediately after rooting
yeah thats one of the best....but i don't use it...so i can't recommend which i don't use
honestly i have no idea about that !

If not
Flash again recovery in boot loader
Enter CWM after flash
Install su
It will ask root is broken select yes.
Recovery should work now

For sure, u can flash original Flyme rom without TWRP but stock recovery must work.or u can try Flashtool and similar tools from a PC if u r able to have a signed token.
I'm just thinking. Is it able to push recovery into system files via root explorer? All we need to know is what files and where paste it... Is it possible?

Only way to solve this is taking the phone to technical service. Done it myself. Be careful tought, they will try to make you change the entire mother board (280€), but if you insist they will "find a way" to install the correct software in your phone and leave it as if it was new
