how to root galaxy y with superoneclick???

can you root the galaxy y with superoneclick? if yes, sendme a link for SuperOneClick please. i don't need a custom rom. i jus want to root it. if i dont have a custom rom and its rooted, can you still overclock it on stock??? sorry for my english, im swedish

hey im really in search of help for root..
got galaxy y gts 5360,
when i flash update.zip it completes successfully but no super user comes in applist and apps say "no root access"
i figured out my system memory is full due to flashing beats audio and other system apps by clockwork mod....
is there any way to root my phone or delete some extra system apps from memory? plz help as early as possible ....i posted a thread but got no reply plz

just uninstall the extra updates like google maps...and other system apps
or try app cache cleaner in market..
it works...nd its free...
rooting is new for me...and i am noob to root...

1.rooting is no successfull if u dont have super user app
2.if unot update ur Y to 2.3.6 (via Kies)do it-then u can root ur device
3.after rooting use Root explorer for uninstalling system apps
4.open Root explorer set it to r/w nd go to system/app-then delete
5.restart nd that's it
6.next time please search for tut's (my signature)

i installed beat audio pro and after uninstalling it all my sound that is headset mic speaker now doesnot work at all can any one tell me the problem ....

once try clearing dalvik cache from cwm in advanced.
if not working better flash stock rom via odin

It may work but try manoranjan's AROMA Root installer....

[help]Phone is rebooting while installing apk

Need help i just restored my backup of creed 3.5 with repensis kernel from cwm and the problem is i cant install some apk it keep rebooting while in installing process i just did a restore not a advance restore. And by the way what's the diff. Of this advance restore.thanks.

It's used to happen to me Av u tried doing a clean wipe.... But. I can't guarantee if it's going to solve the issue.... I suggest u do a flesh flash

Ok.. But i want to know the reason behind that so that i dont get the same problem again please some pro answer this thanks..we do all back up so everyone wants and need to know this..

You may flash the a2sd script. It will solve the problam.
I also had this problem, when I flashed this kernel in both stock and creeds room.

Bro it has a2sd already its a fresh backup right after i succeed flashing repensis kernel in creed

Actually I didn't get to know what was the problem either coz I Googled &searched different forums I found couple of people who experienced the same problem but no one stated the exact problem or what was the cause they all talked about flesh flash/

Clean your second partition,
Re install ROM.
See if that helps.

Advance restore helps to restore specific parts.
eg kerenl (boot.img)

its a failure in your sd-ext.
repartition it, or mayb reflash your rom..

probably (not sure) happens when you try to restore an app that is linked..
try to make sure that your 2nd partition is mounted if you plan to restore your apps
ps. don't restore link2sd.. <-- fresh install then remount scripts and try to clean your partition + dalvik-cache :highfive:

okay guys thanks for helping me to solve my problem but what i did to solve this is by formating my sd card to my phone and creating partition through cwm also but i backup first my file to pc then copy them after, since its a fresh backup no app. install yet only root explorer.
-changing of ext# did not solve the prob. dont know why.

Download another update.zip .The one u have downloaded might be corrupted and again root it. If it does`nt work then
I suggest u to reset(format) ur phone 1st .u can do it by going to setting/storage/format but first back up all your datas and apps.Then root it.

I tryied this ! and don't work =(, i download 3 new update.zip, reset, wipe, etc etc etc and don't work ! my galaxy y are on android version 2.3.6

Ok once try to update to latest firmware via software update inside about option in settings menu. and try rooting again.

good day to you guys, i got my first ever android phone that is gt-s5360 and i kind wandering if i can upgrade it, then my friend recommend me to upgrade it to CM7 that i really like, then i decide to partition it to increase my internal memory. but i hit the fix permission and moved some system files. and it stock in welcome message of samsung. now i fixed it. but i always receive error 492 from play store that i believe is because of i hit the fix permission in recovery mode. now i need to undo it but im having hard time to find a solution...
im new here and hope you guys can help me with this issue...

Go to CWM»ADVANCED»WIPE DALVIK CACHE AND WIPE DATA,CACHE FROM CWM....IT WILL WORK....IF NOT THEN,
Do you have a backup of stock ROM?If yes then do a restore of that backup,it will fix the error.. :thumbup:

i dont have a stock ROM, well that would be cool but im really new to this stuff and im getting confused for a lot of things happening.... where can i get stock ROM for my phone?
and btw, i always see this log in CWM
"E:can't open/cache/recovery/log" sometimes with last recovery
what that inflicts to my issue?

First Download right CWM for your phone model and search guides for CWM and Root in xda or google......
THEN...
Go to CWM recovery>wipe data and cache and back then go to CWM>advance>wipe dalvik cache and reboot device......
And search all about CWM for how to back up and restore...etc...

it stuck up on the hat image, i believe that is the ROM manager image. but its color blue... now im really lost on what should i do

open phone settings
goto applications
mannage applications
select the all tab
you need to select the following apps and clear data and cache
google play services
google play store
google service framework
now with a file browser that can show hidden folders like root browser delete .android_secure from the root of your sd card (note the folder name starts with a dot)
go into cmw
wipe cache
wipe delvik cache
mount system (if on cm7 common kernel unmount system and mount it twice) data and cache
(if you get any errors in mounting anything you will have to flash stock rom via odin and start again)
flash the correct gapps for the android version you are on
restart

This is a bit same way that you informed....But your guide is more easy than me(For settings method)...All is well but if we need to delete the .android secure folder,we need root permission too...and after deleting this folder our installed apps will fail to load main apks...So I think it is more easy if we give a factory reset from settings...it will do all automatically...
So just give a reset.....:thumbup:

Im not sure if im really a mesaed up guy or something, but the reset button is not working anymore. I mean i cant click it anymore. So i better try to do the other steps than factory reset… need to backup files now

My grand prime every time I reboot my phone after samsung logo It gives me this message

Thats right i changed accu widget and add active applications and touchwiz
How can I be sure if they are really cause the probleme
or any other apps
Note : I am odexed stock

app optimisation for the 1st time is usual.. but if its frequent. .there may be some error so ur app is being optimised on every boot..
Try wiping caches. .
If that doesn't help,u may need factory reset

Let me guess.. u flashed that s7 ui and got this error..
This is normal thing after changing system ui..
Restore ur system ui and you will be free..
Now all u have to do is.. wait few seconds more for boot. Lol

just on thing how to delete cashes in TWRP I dont how
but i think it wont work because i google it and i sawed someone said didnt work wipe caches

Don't try to delete it with TWRP, You might end up deleting some system file nd then your phone won't boot up.
That message is normal because you flashed the S7 SystemUI. I get that message too.

Yeah.. right..
But I'll give u the way.
Go to twrp..click wipe.. click advanced options. . Check cache and dalvik cache. ..and swipe to clear..
Remember!!! Never do anything unless u know what you're doing.. if u wipe system,ur device gonna stuck in boot loop with empty file system.. soo always do a nandroid backup b4 messing..
And about that Android upgrading bug.. its common for every users after replacing some system apps in lollipop because of lollipop's runtime environment is ART not dalvik (as in kitkat)
