It's used to happen to me Av u tried doing a clean wipe.... But. I can't guarantee if it's going to solve the issue.... I suggest u do a flesh flash

Ok.. But i want to know the reason behind that so that i dont get the same problem again please some pro answer this thanks..we do all back up so everyone wants and need to know this..

You may flash the a2sd script. It will solve the problam.
I also had this problem, when I flashed this kernel in both stock and creeds room.

Actually I didn't get to know what was the problem either coz I Googled &searched different forums I found couple of people who experienced the same problem but no one stated the exact problem or what was the cause they all talked about flesh flash/

Clean your second partition,
Re install ROM.
See if that helps.
_
Advance restore helps to restore specific parts.
eg kerenl (boot.img)

its a failure in your sd-ext.
repartition it, or mayb reflash your rom..

probably (not sure) happens when you try to restore an app that is linked..
try to make sure that your 2nd partition is mounted if you plan to restore your apps
ps. don't restore link2sd.. <-- fresh install then remount scripts and try to clean your partition + dalvik-cache :highfive:

okay guys thanks for helping me to solve my problem but what i did to solve this is by formating my sd card to my phone and creating partition through cwm also but i backup first my file to pc then copy them after, since its a fresh backup no app. install yet only root explorer.
-changing of ext# did not solve the prob. dont know why.

[Q] From custom to stock again

So I haven't really used any custom ROMs due to the huge work needed after flashing one, I have too many apps installed and save games that I don't wish to lose.
Well I've decided to check out a few of the ROMs today and see which one I will like best, but I would first like to ask how I would back up my stock ROM is the first place. Now as far as I know you can do a nandroid backup using CWM and so I did that, it made a backup of my stock ROM along with data files off all the apps.
Now let's say I've been with this custom ROM for a few weeks and I'm sick of it, and I would like to return to the stock one. Can I restore stock by flashing CWM again, going to the backup menu and choose restore and then browse to the backup I made? Will it restore my stock ROM + data without problems?
Another thing I'm curious to know is, what's the best way to backup all of my apps along with their save games so that I can restore them to the custom ROM once I've flashed it? I've read about Titanium Backup but I do not see a "Select all" option, backup one after another would be a pain.
I hope I didnt confuse anyone with all these questions.
Use batch operation in TBackup
It allows u to backup n restore all apps+data
You can restore ur backup
sent using repencis 3.5 wid a2sd
press thnxxx

Stupid me, how could I have not noticed that option. Thanks I have just started backing everything up, I suppose the correct option is "Backup all user apps + system data"?
As for the stock ROM backup, will it work as I said? I've read that CWM has bugs when it comes to restoring such nandroid backups. Also do I need to wipe cache and data before I can restore my stock nandroid backup?

1) Yes, its the correct option. It even backups save games and the entire data
2) It doesnt matter if you wipe data or not. But its fine if you dont do that. I dont wipe data at every nandroid restore and had no problems. Either way its the same, no need to worry about this. CWM backups wont restore or give some problems only when you restore a backup with different kernel. For restoring to work perfectly , the present kernel(before restore) and to be restored kernel must be the same.

Great, thank you.
For now I have transfered all the files from my TitaniumBackup folder to my computer. I am planning on transferring them back to my SD card once the ROM flashing is complete. After I put the TitaniumBackup folder on my SD card, I install Titanium Backup again and it will read the backups right? Then all I do is choose the option to restore them all and it will work with no problems?
Sorry again for too much questions but I always like to be on the safe side when doing such things, I crapped my pants when I ended up with a bootloop on my old phone

The only thing I can think to do is just restore your device to it's original factory settings/ROM as it will restore all the system files and hopefully restore your ability to use Bluetooth, then try rooting you device by using the one click root from towelroot.com, which hasn't caused me any problems what so ever.

Do i n just need to do factory reset or flash original rom?
And towleroot did'nt work for me?. Is' nt there a way where all my data does' nt get lost?
I would do both, first do a factory restore then flash the stock ROM and hopefully it will fix the problem. Towleroot worked for me, but I had to access the site and download the. apk file using my phone and to answer you last question when you flash a custom ROM all your data is erased, so you should backup your information before you, flash a ROM, or do a Factory restore it will make things easier.

Unable to save to Note 3 after restoring backup rooted rom

Hey Guys
On my SM-N900W8 Note 3, I've had it running a rooted stock rom.
Yesterday I decided to try out Gummy Rom....did a backup in TWRP.....I also backed up all my apps with Titanium just to be safe.. wiped data....installed Gummy Rom....it just wasn't for me.
Wiped data again......restored my stock rooted rom that I've been using this whole time........phone booted up without a problem...SUCCESS! At least I thought success....started to notice some errors with some of the apps I have...
Wasn't able to get any of my snapchats....swiftkey was giving me errors.....then I tired to save a picture and saw that it had failed....strange
I Have several gigs available on my internal and external SD card....
Opening up Titanium....I can see that all folders, internal AND external say "This folder is not writable."
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Update: I've installed SDFix, and I can now save to my external SD card.....however I still can't save to my internal memory.
Try to rewipe all the system and data then reflash the backup again , just give it a chance good luck

I'm going to try and unroot my phone......reroot it, and restore......
If that doesn't help it, then I guess my backup is bad......I don't know what else it could be :\
Rerooting do nothing it's not about root permission it's what inside the backup , anyway last thing to do is to flash the stock rom not the backup and losing the data unfortunately

What I find weird though is after I ran SDFix, I'm able to save to my sd card again
It seems like some sort of permission problem

process system isn't responding after kernel flash

Hello guys, i am new here. So this is my problem. I got a Note 3 International N9005 i flashed the DarkWolf_FW S7 Edge Rom and after that i flashe the idle Kernel for Port 7.
After that my phone boot up but i didnt show the homescreen. So i went back to my normal Kernel Darklord Marshmellow Kernel.
But from then on i couldnt find my music, pictures etc. anymore.
My system didnt recognize that i have a internal and external storage.
My Pc just show one storage wth 128MB with nothing in it.
But when i go to TWRP Recovery it show me all my files.
So the problem is i cant see them files on my phone.
When i boot up there always come the error message Process system isnt responding.
I just press "ok". What can i do to fix it ?
I cant download pictures or music anymore on my phone.
I cant use someapps like snapchat anymore...
I hope you guys can help me.

OMG Thank you. It worked !
App crash, Process System Message after flash = Go Back & Restore.
Dont ignore and proceed after getting 'process system is not responding' -- press OK & flash your backup as there is a problem, there should be no error like this. I found flashing kernel with Odin3.6.10 was more successful a process. It can also be an issue with the recovery rather than the kernel file.
