now it got stuck on huawei logo.
i believe the update would work if i could reach my internal sd card to put dload but i can't. i tried qtadb but it doesn't show my the internal sd card.
does anyone think there is a solution for this? or else i'll give my phone to the service and they'll change the motherboard as they always do. :silly:
What a mess man :/
Have you tried to put dload folder on sdcard, and, without battery and conected only with charger, turn it on by pressing vol + / vol- / power ?

Use some linux live sd and in pink screen format /data manually. This probably would work.
Did you try install the offical partition twice?

it doesn't matter, but you need an ext partition if you want to have app2sd.
So what should I do now ?
3.Go to "partitions menu", choose "mount USB storage" when i go there i have only unmount and go back
4.Upload rom and patches to sd-card, for example in a dir named "-install-"
5.When files are uploaded, unmount phone on your computer, click power to go back on phone
a make next step from instruction??
If you have backed up, you are ready to got for ROM Installation.
I prefer to copy the backup files on my pc to have them at 2 places.
The warning about ext partition is ok. There is no such partition on stock phones/sdcards. But ext partition is necessary if you planning to use App2sd.
But at your current point, you can ignore that warning.
Next step for you is to install the rom files+patches you copied to your sdcard.

all you have to do is, dl the rom and patches to your pc, mount your phone via usb normally and put them on your sd card. then reboot your phone into clockworkmod recovery, and do a full wipe, then go to install zip from sd card, and then flash the rom.

the most easy way ive come across to load a rom! thanks, and appreciate ur contribution to noobs like us. could u shed some light on what is clockwork mod recovery (is it the manual mode to put it in recovery with "volumne down & power button"?) and how to change the clockwork mod recovery on a htc wildfire?

hi.
I already had my x10 with wolfbreak v6 and with rendeiro2005 (crowds) BlackEditionHD v0.2.
but I tried to restore user data and I f**ked up.
actual situation:
cycling boot.
when I try to reinstall wolfbreak or blackeditioHD roms, xrecovery says: ""can't mount /sdcard" and doesn't install.
last thing I did was to re-install the ftf bundle provided by wolfbreak (2.3.3 kernel and baseband .71 only).
need help, please
go to xrec wipe data dalvik, etc and fix premission
try again
if not
partition tools -> mount sd card if it is already mount the unmount card remount card
try then
if it still does not do the means the card is currupted. connect x10 to computer
go to partiton tooll-> mount usb storage copy every thing on hard drive.
not sure but format to fat32 copy your xrec file try to mount to xrec
try to do it again
when the the phone started format card via anroid

I choose "Install custom zip" and then I can navigate on sdcard folders. But when I select somthing to install it always gives the "can't mount /sdcard" error.
i havent readed prop.

already tried all those suggestions.
connecting x10 to computer and mounting usb storage didn't work too.
I can see the drive letter but I can't access it.
I can access sdcard files/folders using another phone.
and I can access it via adb shell too.
made a file copy via adb shell and it worked.
so it seems the sdcard is ok.
Problem solved
Solution:
had to install gingerbread ready xRecovery 0.3
used option A: in this post from zdzihu
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=859571
I made an sdcard backup using another card-reader before.
I thought it would delete all sdcard content... but I was wrong.
thanks anyway
;-)
I recently unlocked my bootloader in order to install the latest PAC ROM. Everything went swimmingly until recently my internal and external sd cards are not mounting. At first I cleared data and factory reset the device and that didn't help, reboots didn't do a thing, and I've used some Terminal codes to try and mount it:
su
echo mkdir /storage/sdcard0 > /data/local/userinit.sh
chmod 700 /data/local/userinit.sh
reboot
but that did nothing. The most recent development is the SIM card doesn't mount right on boot so I'm stuck rebooting the device to just use the network. I tried seeing if Root Explorer would find and mount the card somehow and the SD card and Ext. SD Card sections appear as an unknown file type.

did you make a nandroid? if so, see if you can restore with that.
what I usually do when installing a new ROM is mount everything -> factory reset -> wipe internal storage -> reboot recovery -> mount everything -> install ROM
I don't think there is any reason to wipe external storage.
Thanks but unfortunately I forgot to make a Nandroid so I've used the Toolkit and reinstalled stock.

We need more information to help you.
When does this error code arrives?
Which custom rom? Which google play store version?
First suggestions:
Try to clear the App Cache of google play store or the app you wanted to install
Settings > Apps > All > Playstore > Clear Cache and Data
Unmount the SD Card:
Unmount SD Card, then try to Update/Download the app and then remount SD Card.
Settings > Storage > Unmount SD Card -> Then download the app which was causing problems.
Settings > Storage > Re-Mount SD Card
Move the App to the internal Storage:
Settings > Apps > All > Select app > Moe to internal storage
if i on a orginal rom and as soon as i flash twrp and disable encryption this problem also accuar on the orginal rom.
and i tried the things you wrote... only time play store is working downloading apps in when im on stock rom.. Help.
Have this same problems on two s7 edge and have one s7 flat and with that is was no problems.
Getting the error as soon as i activate write in twrp.. any idea?
UPDATE: fixed it, its working now its was a problem with format data in twrp

You checked the MD5 of your download? If you're unable to download it again, sounds like a dodgy download.

The fix is install orginal rom.
Then boot it up
Next step is to turn of the phone and enter download mode and flash twrp
next step is to boot twrp
then you swipe right to read and write
go to wipe and here is whats i did wrong all the times. dont press advanced wipe to format data and get error and then change partition to ext3 and format data to get the write function to work.
JUST PRESS THE FORMAT DATA TO THE RIGHT NOT ADVANCED WIPE.
then reboot recovery and flash no-verity-opt.encrypt-2.1.zip
then go to wipe and advance wipe and format all except your external sdcard.
Then install the rom and it will work
Yup, I assumed you were able to mount data in TWRP. If not you needed to format
All,
I have a SM-G35FD which is in a bad state. My phone started boot looping one morning after it was fine the night prior (3 days ago now) and I believe an auto-update may be the root cause. I am trying to find any way to access the internal memory to recover data, however I am not able to mount /data or /sdcard. I have not done much with my phone besides adding root, no CFWs ever, and no custom recoveries (prior to today). Also, I lock my phone with my thumbprint. I did not go through any encryption setup on my device.
Details about the initial problem:
It started boot looping several times and at some point it shows a black screen with red text. after letting the battery drain (because I could not force reboot) i was able to get into stock recovery and wipe the cache and reboot; this led to occasionally getting to the security screen which would freeze 1-2 seconds after logging in.
Things I have tried (19mar2017)
got into stock recovery, wiped cache, rebooted. Freezes at security login screen
Installed TWRP to get more functionatity. Was able to install TWRP
used TWRP to try to mount Data, but it will not mount (only System, Cache, EFS, and USB OTG will mount)
used TWRP to wipe Dalvik and Cache only. Errors show "cannot mount /data"
used TWRP to install CWF, freezes during extraction (4-5%)
can use ADB to run shell
UPDATE 20mar2017: Ran "Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> *Select System Partition -> Repair or Change File System" on /system. I think this was a bad move as now I can access the /sdcard folder and its missing all data. I didn't think it would matter since the options under Wipe show "System" and "Internal Storage" separately.
Perhaps data does not mount because it needs my thumbprint? Is there anything I can try to backup the internal user memory partition and my fingerprint signatures? any way to access the user data?
Thanks to all for their time!
I found a video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJRKuQf0puE ) which suggest that I can use TWRP to "change the filesystem" for the /System (and other) mounts in order to fix the /data mount. This can be accessed using Recovery(TWRP) -> Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> *Select System Partition -> Repair or Change File System -> Change File System -> Options { EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, FAT, exFAT, F2FS }. Since my goal is to recover the "User Data" partition, I would not perform this on "Internal Memory" but would on the other partitions. Hopefully this would allow me to reinstall the Stock FW and allow me to login to the Internal Memory to access my files.
Does anyone know if using "Repair or Change File System" will impact the Internal Storage?
Try to reinstall the Stock Firmware Through Odin, I had this problem also when I used to own a J5... All I did was just Reinstall the stock firmware... if you want to find the stock firmware.. just go to sammobile.com
