Pictures X10i vs Z - XPERIA X10 General

Sup,
I've bought a Xperia Z a few days Back. And i have taken my X10i and Z both around and made some Pictures. X10i is Running Android 4.1.2 Slimbean! Z is Stock 4.1.2
I've uploaded Them to Picasa, why ? because Picasa shows Thumbnails, but also allowes Zoom and Download. And it shows Exif info if you press the Link on the right side!
https://picasaweb.google.com/114460133623322715156/VergleichFotos?authuser=0&feat=directlink
At the end of the Album you will see some Pictures of both phones, Screen comparission and some Screenshots.
Your opinion ?

I figured most people probably wouldn't open the old thread as they would just assume it was just someone else making a comment that bumped it back up to the top... actually now i think about it i could have changed the title of the thread... ok my bad! Its been a VERY busy few weeks for me at work and my brain just isn't working as it should be.
If the mods want to delete this thread let me know and i'll update the other one. Thank god its a bank holiday weekend, i can finally get some rest!
Daytime the camera is amazing night time or any low light situation sucks lots of noise.

I did manage to take some really nice night shots by messing around with the camera settings but i accidentally deleted them before writing the blog post
I may update it in a few days with some new pictures but i rarely find myself needing to take any photos after dark, the ones that i deleted i actually went out one evening specifically just to take some night shots with the phone for this blog but i just haven't had the time since to take any more.

I think it has something to do with the way Picassa hosts them or links to them, the copies I have on my PC have all the information there.

Yes they are from the Z. I've taken enough pictures myself with the phone to instantly recognise the quality.
My only gripe with the Zs camera is the fact that it doesn't hold as much detail as the Xperia S does. Don't get me wrong, the picture quality is better on the Z but the S seems to focus much better. Even before taking the shot, if I just hold both cameras up side by side and point at an image, I can clearly see that the S's camera is just better focused. It might take longer to do so but the focus is better. Details get blurred out a bit too easily on the Z.
At first like most, I blamed the image processing for cleaning up the noise at the expense of detail but now I'm convinced it's a focusing problem. At zero crop, it's all fine, but once you begin to crop, you see it all.
Having said that, the S only performs better in daylight and good light situations. Under low light and indoors, the amount of noise on the S's pictures make them much worse even if they hold more detail. If Sony can fix this focusing issue with an update, the Zs camera will quite simply, be the very best out now.
But until then, I can't really make that claim with the S4 packing a similar camera without the same problem.
It has absolutely nothing to do with the image processing algorithms or compression as many have claimed. Like I said even before you take the shot, you can see that the S's camera is better focused. Everything just looks sharper, I'm surprised people haven't clued on to this yet.

Great photo for test if Bravia/xreality works!

Hi guys, as we know Bravia/xreality works in kitkat on unlocked bootloader.
But I saw a lot of people who don't see any difference.
I have made this picture myself it was token from my laptop display and there are weird stripes in it (because of reflection of display I think), anyway, if your Bravia engine or xreality engine works these stripes will dissappear after opening the photo from attachment in your album app.
The attachment won't work because it's compressed by uploading on xda, here's the download link of working photo

I think not all pictures give such a nice effects, but I think you can see this image processing so nicely because of the laptop display distortion so I thought I just share!
ask
i did see any difrent b2win pict in labtop and my wz , thats meen that my be2 did nt works ! ?
dont see the artifacts using CM11 build and quickpic, so it's not the SEMC album app..
Clearly visible when viewing the image on my desktop monitor.
here's my test about xreality mods
BE2 - XREALITY OFF
XREALITY ON - OFF BE2
BE 2 ON - OFF XREALITY
which do you think is the best?
it is better to use a laptop or computer comparing these pictures. Just open the image in new tab \, then clicking the image one by one will do the trick to easily see the difference.

Can't remember exactly but I think
8mp 16:9
Iso100 or 50
Multi metering
Object tracking off
Summer beer
Sunrise in St Ives.
Iso50
8mp
Exposure slider - 2
St Ives harbour
can somebody post some pictures with low light. i was thinking to keep my z3, but i'm beggining to like and thinking about buying the xperia x. The sunrise picture from djlukew looks like a difficult one for a camera and it looks amazing. Does this phone have the option to choose the exposure time btw? Thanks for your shares

great quality
Related question: Anyone else experience problems focusing with the sony camera app? Had to switch to Open Camera for it to work as I expected. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Things I've tried to fix focus on sony camera app:
- Clear app data
- Tried manual and automode
- Disables object tracking
None really helped.

XZ Premium native album app no picture quality enchanced!

With sony stock album app to check pictures, I found no picture quality enhanced. Unlike its predecessor Z5 Premium which utilize X-Reality to pictures in Album app, XZ Premium just let the picture native(I've not noticed any change on opening the picture!)! So is only my device problem or you guys the same?
is there someone here?

in XZ Premium the X-Reality it's a system-wide enhancer. You see immediate change in gamut right away when you select another profile.
+sd835 is infinitely faster than sd810, but it still takes time to load and render the image in 4k which you can see if you zoom in quickly enough
