Hi! I've been trying tune in radio but it only works with internet... Does anyone know any app in which we can listen to the radio without internet?

The Nexus 4 does not have a built in AM/FM radio, so no.

Really? Well then thank you very much it's such a shame... Because I've got a limited data plan (500 MB) and streaming radio must use a lot of data...

No it doesn't. It's just that 500 MB is not much data at all. Pandora does 64kbps on the free account. This means you need about 28 MB to stream for one hour. You have 500 so that gives you just under 18 hours of streaming before you hit that cap.

hey guys, I've been hearing from some people that you can send text msgs from the nexus 7, which would be cool to have.
I downloaded GO SMS, and I entered my information and what not, and then it asks me to bind my mobile phone number, but everytime i do, it says verification failed. how the hell do I bind it? has anyone had this problem before?

I have been using DeskSMS/TabletSMS. Rarely use my phone to text now unless I'm out and about.

Is it possible to use these texting apps with an ordinary mobile number (I.e. not a smartphone)? I find my phone so small that I always struggle with texts...

Word of warning, it will stop working after 14 days unless you pay for it $3.99 for a year. At first I thought it was a steep price to pay but it really is worth it since both devices do not need to be on the same network. For example your phone can be connected by 3g and the N7 by wifi and it will still work.

When using tunein radio app over hspa network, WMA streams play for about a minute, then buffer and play repeatedly. This does not happen over WiFi, it does not happen on my wife's nexus s over network connection, or my old sgs2 over network connection. Mp3 streams play normally no matter what connection it is. Any ideas are welcome.

Same here as soon as I upgrade from GB to JB, tunein no longer streams wma files.
Hey guys, sorry if this was already addressed, but, when ever i download a large file, usually 200MB or more, it just stops around 50% then says unsuccessful... Any idea why? On any ROM.

Over data, WiFi or both?
Both! Its very weird. I try not to download 200 mb files over data though. That'd much my battery. Haha

I don't have issues with play store items, just browser items.

Try changing kernels, maybe?
Do the downloads still stop if you leave the screen on?
I have the same issue suddeny today and get majority of apps say package invalid.
go to the main phone settings, apps, all, download manager.. press clear data, then try your downloads again.

I know one way to do it is to get hotspot shield and then download the apk. I was just wondering if there were other ways of doing it?

This works. Also, if pandora is blocked on your network you can get around the block with this.

no clue.. did not think it should use the same or sometimes more battery than slacker?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
your slacker radio is 23%, so your mediaserver is completely ok. usually, mediaserver will use more than the actual music app.
thanks.. just wanted to be sure that there was no issue.
