[Q] NAND/NATIVESD problem ( I'm Polish) - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hello guys.On polish sites about android nobody can help me.
Yesterday I received the repaired phone. repaired the touch screen.now i dont have on nand or nativesd the android system.when I turn on bootloader theres no SERIAL.i I have another thing when I unplug the phone from the cable, the phone turns off.
now i have magldr v1.13 and no ideas what next.
please help me.

Sine you are able to view MAGLDR menu means your phone is ready to flash custom ROM's. Select your OS Android or Windows Phone and follow the Instructions mentioned in the ROM thread.
Keep the cable connected to PC until you flash the ROM or flash the CMW/TWRP recovery after you can charge phone with checking the charging status.

How was the battery condition before you gave for screen replacement. If it was good before you need to check you got existed battery from the phone repairer.
You can easly come to know whether the battery is charging or not from CMW Recovery menu,
So flash some recovery using HD2 toolkit.
Use MAGLDR Repartition menu to flash some (250 with 5 cache) recovery after done go to AD recovery from MAGLDR menu and check the battery status.

maybe i dont have drivers cause when i choose usb flasher in magldr nothing happen.
wait usb...
i know it must be
wait usb...usb
can you show me drivers to HD2 for windows 7 ?

I dont know why but I unistall everything with HTC in my computer, and when i plugg usb to hd2 pc find my phone !
I use hd2toolkit,hspl,clk,and finally install android to NAND by aroma.
but know is the next problem.
my phone starts to bootscreen and restert.
one time hes installing aplications.I think everything will be ok now.
but restart..next bootscreen and android works !
i chose language and click next and.. restart !
whats going on ?
now hes restarting when is HTC on screen.

Which ROM you used it looks you have selected low nand partition while flashing the ROM.
Give me ROM details and recovery you used.

im used this rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434860
but version 2.8 not 2.9
i think problem is with battery or charge jack.
now phone is normal running but when i unplugg him from contact he will turn off

Good to hear you complete flashing ROM and you are in to your phones android Os.
if you see the charging indication when you connect to power outlet ot PC then it is battery issue.

after flashing to 14 jan mdj. my hd2 crashed after 1 day of use. After that I can't boot into android or use USB. I think I even can't charge the phone. I don't see the red led. Andy ideas for fixing it? Try a new battery? It doesn't start up anymore, but it did a few times and said 12.fatal hit when booting android. I haven't tried Tricolour because I can't start it up anymore
Thanks,
When you turn on your phone what happens? What screen dow it take you to? What does it say when trying to run android? .......and for future notice this is the comnplete wrong section for this....and some more info regarding device, hspl, radio would be helpful too.
oh word? ... try this
1..first download the official wm 6.5 rom from tmobile or http://www.htchd2forum.com/general-...SID=799c9ce6abe4e3ddc05368f8432db509#msg22469
2...second remove the SD card and connect the phone to ur computer
3...hold the down volume + power buttom till u see 4 colurs and them run the tmobile official rom... let me know what happens
it doesn't boot up anymore, I will post again when I have it booting again.
All have to do is to download an htc official rom and connect ur Htc hd2 to

In the name of the wee man.
Post this in the right bloomin' topic.
The Mods have just spent an age reorganising this whole corner of XDA and what do you do?
Bugger it all up.
Well done.
At least you are consistent, you buggered your phone and the forum. Bravo.

Can you seriously follow anyone's instructions given man? Quit trying to boot the phone. Connect the phone with your PC via the USB cable. Hold down the "volume down" key and the "power" key at the same time. Tell us if you see the tri colored screen.

Have you checked the battery contacts? They bend very easy, and the symptoms you describe are exactly those of that. If they are bent, VERY, OH SO VERY CAREFULLY straighten them up. If one or more are broken, I hate to tell you this, but you need to buy a new phone.

I think you have wrongly done the Clock Work Mod which shows the 123Fatal Hit error and ur hd2 remains stuck there. Your HD2 is not crashed at all just charge it with an external charger then go to bootloader by pressing n holding Volume Down key and Power button until you the triple coloured screen, then connect your data cable to HD2 and flash it with a stock windows mobile rom so it will restore ur hd2 and after that u can install nand rom on it by following each and every step mentioned in tutorials here. Whenever I select boot AD SD after flashing partition layout I always get 123Fatal error now I don't understand what the problem is....If someone has a solution for this problem please reply in this thread as I don't want flashing through DFT method.

Magldr help

Guys can somebody help me? I'm trying to install this ROM and when I'm at the part where it says "Waiting for USB connection..." and box pops up and says "The application has failed to start because RAPI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem." How do I install RAPI.dll? Also right now my phone is in MAGLDR v1.12 and it's stuck at the USB Flasher mode screen saying "Wait USB...". Can I just take out my battery and power on and it will boot in to the previous NAND ROM I had on my HD2?
I've put a picture up of all the files that came with the download. I don't know what I'm doing! I'm new to this stuff.

Dont worry.
Press the power button and you will go to magldr menu.
Did you run daf.exe with right click and run as administrator?
If you did and it stil wont install, try unpacking the file you downloade again.
Did you connect the usb cable to the phone, before runing daf.exe?
Sorry, had to ask

I tried the power button and it wouldn't go back.
Luckily, I used a different computer and it's installing as we speak. Pheeeewwww!
I didn't even have a .daf file. Only the ones I included in the post above.
If there's any problems, I'll get back on here.
Were you by chance using WinXP on the original PC? Many versions seem to need drivers installed for it to work, while it generally works without such on Vista & Win7.
RAPI.dll (Remote API) is included with ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center. I guess the original machine didn't have the relevant one of them installed, or it did and for some reason RAPI.dll was missing/knackered. (This is just for future reference if anyone comes across this thread looking for possible answers.)
Glad it's working now
Hmmm guess what? I'm stuck flashing a new ROM now. It comes up and says "Wait USB... USB"
But the ROM won't flash?

And when you start installer.exe - run as administrator - it stays on "waiting usb connection?
Check if active sync has "allow usb connections" dissabled! This is if you are on XP.
If this doesn't work, try another build and see what happens.

I've thanked all your posts in this thread. Thank you!
Just a quick thing.... it's installing on MAGLDR, the ROM I had before had Partitions for DATA2SD, this one doesn't so I formatted it with one singled FAT32 partition. Now on MAGLDR it says, PARTITION LAYOUT NEW
Do you want to reserve date? Do I save it, clear it or abondon flashing?

By saving the old data you might get errors - Force Close applications - later on when the Android system loads.
If mistakes happen you will have to format the card again - properly - and reflash clean.

Will do. The ROM I was flashing was a clean gingerbread, now I'm using FutureShock MIUI. Recommend it!
Btw, do you install WP7 the same way as you do an Android ROM? Or is it a whole different process?

It's the same, there is a whole thread about WP7. It should be easy, just remember that WP7 formats your card with it's own partition and then if you want to go back to Android you have to reformat gain.

NEW TO THIS Please help..
I have rooted, flashed, modded, and repaired dozens of android native phones...
this one was quite different.. However.. i was able to successfully run Android 2.3 on one of my friends HD2's,, and another one is giving me HELL and back..
I had what i thought was stable Android 2.3 ROM after flashing DESIRE HD ROM through Clockwork.. I've been testing ROM's on this phone for a few days.. and today i decided to try to turn on the phone.. every time i turn it on... (tried hard reset),, i get to aMAGDLR V1.11 screen that is BLANK!!! ALL BLACK!!!
I do not know how to actually get the phone to turn on from this point. It is a tmous hd2 and i did flash a ".50" spl and whatnot... but today, this morning.. it decides to act up and i don't know what to do! any one have any ideas?

[Q] Help please!!

I installed maglar 1.12 on my hd2 using the nbh file method... now my hd2 wont turn off it just restarts as soon as you turn it off or put the battery back in.... when in magldr the button lights flash repeditally.... I can still flash roms using maglr usb method but when the roms are booted up the button lights are on constantly even in sleep, it seems to recive random input, and you cant put it in sleep mode and when it goes into sleep mode naturally you cant turn it back on........ My first thought was to try and to go back to stock but because I dont have a windows mobile rom on I cant use the active sync method and for some weird reason it wont go to the bootloader(yes I know how to get to the bootloader I am not and idiot)........ so I am stuck and dont know what to do

To do so, enter hd2 in bootloader mode,
Keep pressing DOWN + POWER when device is switchd off initially

People he can not flash anything having to do with flashing via the SPL bootloader, this is why Orangekid and I both asked what happens when the OP trys to boot into bootloader.
calm down everyone!
lol
sorry, like others have mentioned, what exactly happens from start to finish when you try and get in to the boot loader, yes i know you said you know how to do it
but humour us, start to finish, buttons you push, whats on teh screen, everything.
sounds like something in the SPL has been screwed, been a lot of that recently which is a bit odd.
I can not get to the bootloader
I know that I cant get to the bootloader I tried the way you said above again and it just goes stright to magldr so I can not flash back to stock ........ I took it to a phone repair guy who said he fixed it and it appeared like he did but then two hours later it started again .......

Ok everyone as you can see he can not get the SPL bootloader to come up.
I will help you out with your Youtube link too.
I am very sorry to tell you but without being able to get to the bootloader you can not flash a official ROM back to the HD2 so you can not send it in for warranty exchange our repair. That is unless there is some miracle program out there that you can run from your computer to force the bootloader to bootup, which i have never heard of one. (Note to Devs that would be a awesome program to create if it is possible )
There is the bootloader.exe but you already have to have a Sync type connection for it to work and i don't know if the connection you get using Zune is enough. I attached the a EnterBootloader.zip file but like I said i don't know if it will help you are not. Try connecting and syncing your HD2 with Zune and then try to run the EnterBootloader.exe from your computer and see what happens.
Thanks for the program but when I try to run it in windows phone 7 it gives me the error that it is not a valid windows phone 7
Is there a way I could update or change magldr without the bootloader? or is there any sort of windows mobile rom I could install through magldr like you would with android or wp7?
I mean sorry it gives the are that it is not a valid win32 aplication not windows phone 7 that was a typo

I know someone in that can JTAG your HD2 buit he lives in Texas, but he is very good and experienced with JTAGing HD2s, PM me if you want more info as it would be against the rules for me to provide any other information in the forums.
Also I do not think you need JTAG but just need your voulume rocker fixed, but he is still the guy to do it.
the volume buttons should be easy to test within windows its self
I doubt its MAGLDR issue, it looks like an SPL issue.
could you tell me how much the jtag would cost and the volume down and up buttons work when the wp7 build is up

is it bricked ? or is it a battery/power problem ?

i was using MAGLDR then i had troubles so i tried to use another boot loader for my t-mobile Hd2 which is " cLk " then i didnt understand anything and removed the phone from the usb and it powered off i tried to open it again to remove the bootloader clK and add MAGLDR again but it wont open not even screen light

no lights no power clue .
Will it boot into your bootloader? If so, you can flash magldr again.

Congratulations, you probably have just bricked your phone.
Im sorry, but pulling the cable while flashing is the most stupid move someone would ever do. If you don't understand something, then just read again and again until you fully understand before doing something reckless.
You MAY get lucky and have your phone revived, but I doubt it.
Sorry, truth sometimes hurt.
i didnt remove the cable while flashing ... i removed it when i was in clk , clk was stuck or something so i removed the cable after a while after this it wont open like it has no battery , NO BOOT LOADER NO BOOT NO LIGHT .
Check the battery pins & make sure they make contact with the battery !
and you might want to charge your battery with a wall charger (the one where u can charge battery without phone - if u have this) or borrow ur friends clk installed hd2 and charge ur battery...
it can be a 0 battery charge problem also.

[Help] Is my phone briked?

So I kinda new here and searched for similar threads with the same problems as i got , so far no success .
Heres all my story :
I have got HTC HD2 not long and I have installed NAND ROM Andriod on it ( it was installed from the SD card )
Phone worked great and evrything was nice till yesterday when my phone touch screen had stopped working so i decided to install the same OS ( Windows Mobile 6.5 ) that i recived it with , to exchange for new HD2
So i have tired to install WM6.5 , here what i have done :
I have downloaded this rom : World Wide English (WWE) 1.66.405.2
from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623283
I turend the phone off and opened the Bootloader screen , connected the USB cable and run the .exe rom file
It have finished installing and and phone turned off after that i pluged off the cable and tried to turn the phone on but it dont turn on at all even bootloader screen dont turn on , cant do anything with it
as i understood its briked now ? or its not?
looks like i forgot to ActiveSync before I started instaling the ROM
and now phone dont do anyhing at all
Here's what i had before i tried to install MW6.5 back :
In bootloader screen : PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x30
R 2.15.50.14
and also installed DFT MAGLDR Bootloader at the end
and then loaded some NAND ROM from the forum
So now my phone birked? if no is there any way to fix it?
Do i still got Garenty on it and i can exchange it ( as my touch screen is not working and now phone dont even start )
What should i do pelase help me

Is it able to do off-mode charging? if so, leave it to charge and then take battery out, put it back in and try going into bootloader mode again.

I dont see the red light as it need to be when it charging
but let me try im 99% sure bootloader wont satart
Hmmm, so its gotta be either a power issue, a random death,(hd2s are starting to age, and they've never been totally robust hardware wise) or a flash that went so wrong it fried the firmware totally.(I'm guessing without rereading your previous posts that the drivers the PC tries to find are "Qualcomm cdma blahblah" or something similar? Often seen when a phone needs a jtag)
Only suggestions I can offer are
Battery out, USB in and on wall charger, and then put battery in,
take a really good look at the battery pins,
perhaps take a voltmeter to the battery
try another battery, try your battery in another hd2,
