For my use Iusacell Network, I have preferences to Custom Roms or Cooked (still there for the Razr I) and therefore I did the following:
1. - Unlock Bootloader (Motorola Official Site)
2. - Install CWMR (Clock Work Mod Recovery) and made a backup of the system is Telcel see post of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2166646
3. - Download and install RSD Lite 6.1.4 http://www.mediafire.com/?yw9dh89jtqii71e
4. - Download and install a firmware using RSD lite 6.1.4, I chose Brazil Retail (ICS and is used to put a new SIM to exit the menu to enter the unlock code SIM) (It should "just unzip" by rsd lite in the browser and edit the XML file and delete this line <step operation="getvar" var="max-download-size" />
leaves the file saving changes in RSD Lite is sought file you edited and select to trigger the flash, if you choose a firmware starting with CFC this line does not appear, I not flash CFCs.
5. - I got the unlock code by IMEI (unlock code generated must be 16 digits) in http://www.unlockunit.com/es/liberar-motorola/motorola-razr-i-xt890, I want to clarify that the total amount was paid 19.9 USD as the price of 13.9 is on your list of search operator Telcel and when they do not, so it has to build and cost me, 6 USD I made my transaction via PayPal but you can pay online (takes 5 business days)
6. - I put the SIM of Iusacell, asked me the code, I introduced and ready, Razr I working with Iusacell (the Razr I in the HSPA+ Iusacell network is 4G)
Note: You can start from step 3, and not supporting anything and just install a new firmware for you to quit the input menu unlock code SIM: good:
If you unlock the bootloader you can follow this XDA thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1936512 very careful with the steps, you are to read

Thanks

Almost do not understand what you write (and I quote above) has purchased 4 codes and none has worked for you ......... so far he had not seen it written, but at least many have been served and have their Telcel RAZR I bought running in Iusacell, could not even remotely help you with your case, which is very rare ...... but I would recommend requesting a refund of your money.

Hi,
I had to use macgyver battery hack to bring my defy to live.
Everything is working except defy only switches on in emergency calls mode.
There is no service from carrier.
Tried base band switch app
MFUNZ_DEFY.BasebandSwitcherV4.1.apk
but it says
unable to detect your baseband configuration, it's possibly damaged. reset to default?
Tried rename system/etc/motorola/bp_nvm_default and even move the folder.
But reset to default is not possible.
I have tried eclair (full SBF), blurlessginger & some other fixed froyos, cm 7.1 & cm 7.2.
Without any success.
Can anyone suggest a way forward or the phone is to be discarded.
Regards

Try flashing the full sbf again
Hi people,
this is my first post here
i'm from Mexico and my Razr HD is from Telcel
after flash the Retail Brasilian Firmware I lost my 4G LTE because the firmware has a diferent modem from Brasil LTE
for the people who lost LTE after flashing (like me) I have the solution
I just took the firmware from Rogers Canada and extract the modem_signed file and with this modem I have again my LTE from Telcel
I attached the bat file and fastboot files if somebody need it
i didn't attached the modem_signed file because my internet is very slow but you can download it from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1943879\\
you just put the modem_signed file in the same folder with the files attached and run the bat file, your phone need to be in fastboot mode

well, with the brazil firmware you will no have any app of Telcel and the performance I feel it a little bit faster but not much, the only thing that will not chance is the Messages icon because its stored in the sim card, if turn on your phone without your sim card you will see the original Message icon (blue) then if you insert your sim card the screen will be flash a little bit and the Message icon will turn orange with white

Ahh ok. Well I've read that removing all telcel's stuff was a huge improvement on the speed/battery life.
Maybe I will try this on the weekend.
Gracias!
Just to let you know, this does not work on CM10. It makes the modem unstable, and can't connect to LTE.
Anyway, thank you for your help.

If your S4 is factory unlocked, you can flash any Stock ROMs that are not carrier locked from sammobile.com, here's the tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477&page=4
I've had lots of problems trying to root my P10 Lite - I rooted it last year only to return it to stock later but it seems the Huawei unlock web page has changed. If you need the code I have a quick and free way of getting it.
send a e-mail to [email protected] stating you what the unlock code and they will reply with this e-mail
Dear Jon Paver,
Thank you for contacting Huawei Customer Care.
In response, please note that we can, of course, generate and provide the bootloader code for your device.
However, please keep in mind that unlocking the device's bootloader voids its warranty and might cause numerous software issues (unlocking any device's bootloader is considered to be software manipulation).
Should you still require the code, please provide us with the following details:
Full Name:
Email address:
Device model:
Serial number:
IMEI:
Product ID - dialing *#*#1357946#*#*. If not available, the invoice should be attached.
We are looking forward for your reply and let us know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,

Bad news from Huawei,
Thank you for contacting Huawei Support UK.
In response to your enquiry, we would like to inform you that the unlock code application service has ended, as of July 25th 2018, to ensure user experience and safety. Moreover, unlocking the bootloader of a device voids the warranty and it wasn’t recommended since it was the source of multiple software issues due to unauthorized software modifications.
Huawei used to provide users with corresponding unlock codes to meet personalized requirements due to the usage of different ROM's, which is an extra service and does not belong to consumers rights.
However, due to possible problems caused by unlocking your device (such as system built-in function failure, device freezing, and power consumption increase) we will no longer provide the code.
Should you have any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best regards,
Camelia

For those who aren't already aware, A515U is the model number of all of the US carrier versions of the Galaxy A51. The A515U1 is the model number of the same device, but sold by Samsung SIM unlocked and with no carrier bloatware. Firmware is 100% interchangeable among these models (as it is with any U and U1 models): any U or U1 firmware version can be flashed to any U or U1 device at any time, assuming that you're not trying to downgrade the bootloader. Also, U firmware is identical for the 4 base files (AP, BL, CP, CSC) for each individual build, no matter which carrier it comes from. So if you download 2 different carrier versions of the exact same build, the 4 base files will be identical. Where the firmware differs is in the USERDATA file - that's where the carrier bloatware and customizations reside.
Manual Odin flashing is designed for those who:
- want to manually update to a newer version of U firmware on their U device, either because they don't want to wait for their carrier's OTA or because OTAs aren't working on their device, or a different carrier got a new feature/patch before they did
- want to flash U1 firmware to their U device
- want to convert from U1 firmware to carrier U firmware
- want to convert from one carrier's U firmware (with all apps and bloatware) to a different carrier's U firmware (with all apps and bloatware)
For those who aren't already aware, anyone can now download firmware for almost any Samsung device any time that they want, via SamFirm or Frija. There are threads and info about them here on XDA so I won't waste time explaining - do a search if you're not already familiar with these tools. But they only provide whatever the latest/newest/current version is - nothing older. I pay for a subscription to a site that gets the official releases (usually) before they hit SamFirm/Frija, so that's where my files come from. However, I don't have unlimited bandwidth on the site, and it's also quite time consuming to download the files, zip them up, and upload them to AFH. And, I do threads like this for every single Ax, Sx, and Note x model - so I won't be uploading every single version. The only full builds that I upload are ones where I get access to a new bootloader and/or Android version early, before they hit SamFirm/Frija. Also, since AT&T doesn't allow their firmware to be publicly available (for any of their devices), I'll try to always upload at least one USERDATA per bootloader increment for AT&T (and Cricket, if they get this model). I'll also upload any full builds if AT&T is the only carrier to get that specific build, because you won't be able to find the files anywhere else.
This is not a "beginner's guide to Odin flashing" -type post/thread, so I won't list basic, step-by-step flashing instructions. My threads are geared towards those who already know what they're doing. If you're new to manually flashing Samsung firmware, I recommend you consult one of those "beginner's" guides- there are tons of them here on XDA.
Happy flashing!
U firmware: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=310014
U1 firmware: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=310015
Notes:
- DON'T QUOTE THE OP WHEN YOU REPLY, kthx
- I have lots of threads just like this one for other Samsung devices (mostly the flagships), if that interests you. For those who have already made use of my previous threads for a different device and are upgrading or changing devices, welcome back
- My zips are compressed extra small for space and bandwidth savings. The default Windows extractor can't handle it, so you'll need a 3rd party tool like 7zip, WinRAR, etc
- My naming method for folders on AFH is: build - bootloader - Android version
So "SAT - 1 - 9.0" means the full build number ends in SAT, it's bootloader version 1, and it's Android 9.0. When bootloader and Android versions increment, the first build to have those changes will have its folder notated appropriately.
- Flashing the HOME CSC file keeps data intact; using the other CSC will wipe data. Flashing USERDATA will also wipe data
- For identifying USERDATAS, and to know what region/CSC to use if you're looking to get firmware from SamFirm/Frija:
AIO = Cricket (not available via SamFirm/Frija)
ATT = AT&T (not available via SamFirm/Frija)
BST = Boost Mobile
CCT = Xfinity Mobile (Comcast)
CHA = Spectrum Mobile (Charter)
SPR = Sprint
TMB = T-Mobile
TMK = Metro PCS
USC = US Cellular
VZW = Verizon (available via SamFirm/Frija, but Manual Entry is required - Auto will not work)
XAA = U1 firmware
- As some or most of you may know, starting with the S8, Samsung has included a feature in U firmware where it automatically changes the bloatware to match the SIM card of the carrier that you insert. So that means that if you have an AT&T device that's been SIM unlocked, and you insert a SIM from T-Mobile, you'll get a popup message prompting you to restart to apply new carrier settings. After the phone reboots from doing that, it will have converted itself to look like a model that was originally sold by T-Mobile, complete with all of their apps and bloatware. If you insert a SIM from a carrier that does not have its own firmware (a prepaid MVNO for example), then the phone might adopt the bloatware of the network whose towers the SIM runs on, or it might just keep the existing bloatware and not change it at all.
If you do not get that popup prompt when inserting a different SIM, and want/need to do the conversion manually, the correct procedure for switching from one carrier's U firmware (with all bloatware and apps) to another carrier's U firmware is:
1. Flash full U1 firmware package including non HOME CSC
2. Upon boot, insert a SIM of the carrier whose firmware you want
3. Watch for the popup that says "reboot to apply new carrier settings" etc, and do it
4. After that restart completes, reboot back to Download mode and flash the full U firmware package, with the USERDATA file of the carrier whose firmware you want
1. As of today's date, neither U nor U1 firmware appears to be live on SamFirm/Frija. Once I notice that it is live, I'll post about it (unless someone else beats me to it)
2. This is the latest patched Odin which will probably be required for flashing files - https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/patched-odin-3-13-1-t3762572
I do not have an A51 and probably never will - I'm only providing the files for the benefit and use of XDA users. So I don't have any personal experience with this particular model
I need help jailbreaking my a515u vzw to a515u1 xaa

1. It's not called "jailbreaking", it's called "flashing".
2. You need to make sure you're using Patched Odin 3.14

You will never have that option under Developer Settings, no matter what you flash. USA models are not capable of having the bootloader unlocked

Nope. That's how all U and U1 models have been, ever since the S8

You think that flashing a file designed for a model that came out 4 years ago will work on this model?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Im sorry for my ignorance i thought maybe something similar could be done
**CONFIRM Root Option**
So far I've found one site that claims to offer a root option for A515U:
//androidbiits.com/root-sprint-samsung-galaxy-a51-sm-a515u-easily/
I'm new and the forum won't allow me to officially post a link until after 10 posts so to visit the site add the HyperTextTransferProtocol (http) before the domain above
Has anyone been able to successfully try or implement this? For me the steps aren't totally clear.

"if you have managed to unlock the bootloader" - and I guarantee that you haven't managed that, nor is there any way to do that at this time. There are 1000 similar sites out there, all written in poor English and all claiming that you can root this device and that device - IF the bootloader is unlocked. All they do is copy/paste and edit the model number when a new model comes out and create a new page, all trying to get clicks - or something

Anyone know if this firmware is the same for the 5G version of the A51? ???
