Hi
I am using now link2sd (brilliant <3) with Hyperion Rom. I try to search it by myself, but i am still not sure, so i want to ask you
When i want change/re-flash my rom, what should i do with apps on the partition? (FAT/FAT32)? Should i format partition or what?
In some thread i read that, before installation a new rom, i should go to CWM and format partition (or something else...).. :3
Its got nothing to do with your second partition of sdcard... format data system .. but you can retain apps after new fresh rom installation. .. just open link2sd.. select file type of second partition and reboot
Open link2sd again.. options relink applications.. done.. but app data will be lost..

Im about to install this ROM to my Galaxy Y and since im going to be installing my apps on my SD card to save up space on my internal memory, i want to know which file system format should i pick for this 2nd partition. I gave the 1st partition the NTFS format which is for my regular files such as music and pictures, but i want to know which one to pick for the 2nd partition (where the apps get installed), should it be Ext2, Ext3 or Ext4? On the stock ROM i would use Ext2, but im not sure if that will do the trick running Hyperion 7.
Also gonna install the Kernel White 1.3.3 to make the boot faster, and ofc the wi-fi driver from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35039447&postcount=630
Cheers!
Ext 3 is stable if not then ext4
I use. Ext4
NOTHING TO SEE HERE
Use ext2

The settings app from phone is missing. It does not show up in drawer.
I checked the /system/app/ folder using root explorer , settings app is present there but does show up in drawer .
I reinstalled the settings app using system app installer, but nothing worked.
This problem occurred after I flashed the JBVOTA4.1 & JBVOTA5.preNemesis update for JellyBlast rom
GT S5360
Rom - Jelly Blast v4.0.5
Kernel - Marroc v2.0 Final
Overclocked - 1.2 GHz
Undervolted - -100 mV
Battery - 3200 mAh
SD Card - 32 GB class 10
Swap - 256 MB
SD / EXT - 2 GB ext 3
specify what launcher u use.
maybe the app was hidden in appdrawer.
check statusbar,if you seen settings icon, press it

Question? Better go to [Help Thread] by Deadly
Suggestions :-
*Try a reboot...
*check if got those permisiions it wants (i don't knw the permission it requires)
*replace it with another setting.apk from the same rom

Hi,
I am new to XDA and first time posting a question !!
My question is when i was trying to increase my phones internal memory via CWM and link2sd by following the instructions very carefully, I am getting an error which says "LINK2SD could not obtain root access" and some time it gets root access somehow it shows "mount script error" .
I want 512mb increased memory.
ALREADY TRIED:
1-Rebooting
2-Hot booting
3-Formatting SD card
4-using different CWM
5-Trying different EXT2,3,4 & Fat also
I am using Galaxy Y GT-s5360 with Nemesis One Phoenix ROM with Hells Fusion#50 kernel.
Link2sd Updated via google play
