my first REAL contribution to the forum

Installation instructions
----------------------
1-un-install any custom cube you have ( soft-reset so that the cube you have is the default one)
2- copy the registry and cab files onto your phone
3-run the registry file and import the settings
4-install the cube by running the CAB file
5-after the soft reset you'll get the 4 sided cube of life
6-enjoy
will upload a you tube video later today showing the animation of the cube

Done! also added somescreen shots of the 4 side of the cube
they look much better in animation though

looks nice.... after i saw your cube, i had this idea: an UI like a Rubik cube as a menu where you could scroll every column and every row so u will have a real custom menu

that's what i had in mind but that needs siome development to state which part of the screen you're scrolling at
i'd be able to create the visuals if a developer hops in

Support VGA &WM5.0 ?

Can not find the executive file - I have only a _setup.lnk that run my Opera and that all. Could you please give some instructions

Doesnt seem to work on WM5. Still,20MB required to install seems a bit steep....

you'll need to have the custom application launcher to launch this
will post hopefully tom a video showing the user interface

added a registry file tweak to overcome this and other problems

I installed and for some reason after a while it shuts down my bluetooth on my Touch, and my Jawbone disconnected.

Visually this is virtually identical to Musicman's 4 sided I-cube. Is yours a clone with a few cosmetic alterations or something else?

basically using the same icons yet modifying the transitions to incorporate a cool 3d effect while creating a totally new animaiton between 2 application sides of the cube

so i installed it, where do i open the config?

all you have to do is scroll your finger from the bottom of the screen upwards

i have a trinity and it doesn't work that way
i need to edit ftouchlfo config file but i don't know what to put there.

Cool idea. Not sure how well it would work in real life though.

Quick "Cube" Question

For some reason when i try install Skins for the cube, the side of the cube with the 6 options never gets skinned, but the contacts side and the side with the 3 options (music, photos, and videos) does.
So far i've tried poorly ducks vista cab and someone else's cab to install, the install's went smoothly but both didnt skin the side with the 6 options. What am i doing wrong?

This happened to me all the time, the original cube is a pain! Your best bet is to remove it and use Slither's, check below for Tips & Tricks.

Somehow i knew you were gonna answer my question TheChampJT, haha, so how difficult is the install on that Slither? would it open the same way the original cube would open? with the swipe of a finger....

LOL! I try to help where I can.
By removing the cube, you'll save the memory and the hassle of it opening in apps like S2U2.
What you can do is use the FTouchFlo, which is better than the stock TouchFlo. Also install the FtouchFlo config tool. Then you can disable TouchFlo. Then in the config tool, you can set the cube to open on a swipe gesture.
It's an upgrade all the way around in my opinion, and much easier to cusomtize, since there are a few skins available.

1. Get HTC Home plugin
2. Instal it on device, not on storage card!
3. Reboot your phone
4. Deactivate the HTC Home plugin

7. Activate the HTC Home plugin
8. Copy "Wallpaper.png" to My Pictures and make it your wallpaper
9. Use UI Tweaker if you want to have the black bars

well same problem hai ? are you sure it is for typhoon ? and for wm6.1? i also have installed plug in but nothing happend ? n there is no option anywhere of deactivating or activating htc home plug in so please tell what's wrong here?

yes, it's for Typhoon, but for Windows Professional
In settings you've got "Today settings" and there you can deactivate it

u mean typohoon wm6.1 pro ? can u tell me where can i download it ? that proffesional version of 6.1 ?

It should be. There are for Tornado and Huricane, so it should be for Typhoon.

I've looked into your files, they are all the wrong sizes for a Typhoon.
Wall is 320 x 240 ... Typhoon is 220 x 176.
the clock numbers should be 32 x 42 ( if I mapped correctly.....took screen shot into Adobe PS resized to 220 x 176, then went to paint and mapped the number face)
So I have a feeling this could work, but the amount of labor needed is beyond my ability
Thus when added to a typhoon, you may get lucky and it blinks up for a sec but it's huge. (as is)
Note:
I imagine an animation.dll and some of the htc dll's need work as well, but again beyond me.
I tinkered some.....chased .dll files down.....had about 2 seconds of seeing the top corner of the screen

TODAY scren

I am interested if I could somehow remove all the stuf from "today" screen
I love when I see walpaper and nothing more, interested in whether they can do it somehow, and if you can then how?
I believe that much like them that look.
or perhaps to add a new screen or box and set as "today" and the original "today" screen get 2 place and a different name.

Installing Cookie's Home Tab gives you the option to keep using Sense, with the possibility to simply drag away your quicklinks, displaying only the time and your wallpaper.
Or you can go to Settings => All Settings => Today
Uncheck HTC Sense and enable Windows Default
This will allow you to use the main Windows OS interface

Just run the .cab from the phone and restart the phone

Problem with notifications

I have some problems with notifcations in applications like: instagram, twitter, snapchat.. if they arent blocked in the ram menu, when i clean the ram they have closed at all and i dont received any notifications until i open this aplications again. There isnt any list to add apps that you want to be always running?

Decreases battery life. Allows phone to wake more often

To be honest, nobody really knows, everybody is testing and guessing, as there is no official documentation from LeEco and also no source code to look into.
One really important setting for notifications to work is the permission for "Auto launch" (find it in Phone manager under "Privacy Safety" -> "Manage auto launch"). If Auto-Launch is not enabled for an app then it is not allowed to be started automatically when it receives a notification from the app's server (aka "Push Notification", aka "Google Cloud Messaging GCM") --> this means: no notification will be shown!
I tested this a lot and can verify this finding.
But please don't starts threads if there already (current) threads running for the same topic.
