Hello Guys
Just tried to install allmost every CM7 mods for my DHD, but every time, when i receive a call, the screen goes black, and can't get awake again....
Whn running standard 2,2 Rom, there's no problems at all - so it must be a bug with the 2.3 version?
Does anyine have a solution for this?

Did you flash using clockwork recovery 3. The 2.5.3 is not compatible with cm7
Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk
Yes i did, tried both of them...
I didn't get any problems when flashing with CWM 2,5.... Other than the screen bug...
But that's the same with CWM 3,5

Sounds to me like you have a faulty proximity sensor. Do you have this problem with a stock rom as well? If so, I should try to return your DHD to get a replacement or repair.
There's no problems at all with the standard DHD Sense rom.... That's what wondering me - i tried restoring it, to confirm that the phone wasn't broken...

i think senseUI doesnt use the proximity sensor..
i am also having the same problem..
it was fine till today, i flashed build #30 however i nadroid backed to old builds (when is was working) and the problem persist.
I suspect my sensor is faulty..
hey go download Light Sensor from market.
Seems like my proximity sensor is working.. shows
lux - 59 in room light
lux - 7 if i use my hand to cover
lux - 137 if under my lamp
lux - 4k if i use my nexus one flash light.
if u are getting the same settings, i suspect there's a bug in CM7.
Im working this afternoon on porting 4.3 from the Nexus 4 leak and I got it to bootloop. Im stuck thus far and asking for help. I have included a portion of the logcat that I am stuck on. Before you ask there is no libnetcmdiface.so in the 4.3 base. I realize that it is looking for that lib.

Why port it if we will get it in the next few weeks? There's already a leak for the n4 so that means we will get it soon. It doesn't really change much. For people that are average users won't notice a difference so there's no reason to port it.

Usually porting to a new version (ie 4.2.2 base and 4.3 port) requires some ramdisk mods in the kernel to get it booting, something not possible without the 4.3 sources (I dont think anyway)
On any ROM I have tried porting, if it won't boot it always seems to be because of media errors, or the need or a ramdisk mod
Sent from my Nexus 4 LTE @1.728 GHz on Stock 4.2.2
That's always why Nexus devices don't seem in such hurry to port new stuff cause we'll get it officially once its announced.
Are there any decent changes outside camera and tweaks here and there?

Can't wait. Hope you solve the problem soon! :fingers-crossed:
Just wait until it comes.

Next steps: find that lib in another 4.2.2 ROM and give it a try (who knows right) and also crack the ramdisk open and see what I can see in init.rc
I am using AOSP 4.2.2 as my base and the AOSPA 4.2.2 kernel

Dude if you succeed in doing so... I am here to test it OUT......
Guess this is a moot point. Ok to close this thread

I purchased a headset that claims to support aptX, but I can't verify it's working. I've enabled it in OP5 settings, and also tried restarting the phone for good measure. The manual for the headset specifies that it supports aptX, and it doesn't list any special steps to enable.
Looking at logcat and btsnoop output it seems to be negotiating SBC. I've tried playing FLAC and MP3 files with VLC, and streaming over Google Play music and it does not negotiate aptX. Has anyone else been able to confirm that aptX is working on their OP5?
I followed this answer on stackexchange and got the btsnoop logs, analyzed with WireShark. This is what I came up with:
Code:
AVDTP 25 Rcvd ResponseAccept - GetCapabilities - Audio SBC (16000 32000 44100 48000 | Mono DualChannel Stereo JointStereo | block: 4 8 12 16 | subbands: 4 8 | allocation: SNR Loudness | bitpool: 2..53)
The headset is obviously responding with SBC, but does this definitively mean the headset is refusing to support aptX, or could it be an issue with the OP5?
I can post more of the btsnoop logs or logcat if necessary.
How would I confirm it? I see the "aptX HD" logo briefly flash on the screen whenever I start playing video or music after connecting to my LG HBS-730, but how would I know for sure? I mean it does sound better than the same media on my wife's Moto X Play.

If you run a logcat over adb while either connecting or playing the media (I'm not sure which) you should see some output about codec negotiation. That's probably the quickest and easiest way. The btsnoop method in the stackexchange I linked is more low level, but I was hoping to see conclusively if the device supports aptX
I've never seen an aptX logo you up on screen. Hopefully that's a reliable indicator, but I would think that would get annoying!
One more thing, my understanding is that aptX and aptX HD are two different things (someone correct me if I'm wrong), even if one is working I don't think that necessarily means the other is.
I'm probably going to return this headset if I can't prove that aptX is working for it...
Here is the screenshot.
And here's an exert from logcat while trying to play some tune via Google Play Music app:

The "Selected Codec aptX" bit makes me think it's working. There are a lot of crappy knock-off headsets that boast aptX "support" that isn't working right because they omit the profiles necessary for it to actually work. I remember reading an article a while back about this very problem, but can't seem to find the link anymore.

Ok, that logcat looks like what I was expecting to see. I agree that yours is working. Thanks!
For the record, this one *is* some cheap Chinese one I found on Amazon. The sound quality is not awful for the price, but the false advertising is unforgivable.
I see aptX logo flashed on a screen after my Sennheiser HD1 got connected via Bluetooth. And I don't see that logo when using other BT headsets.
