Lightning up that notification bar would be pretty sweet.
Check out Nitro Honeycomb theme.... Its blue. Not too dark. Looks real nice.

If your running a launcher that supports it try just "googling" dolphin icon or messenger icon. That's what I did for my black dolphin and blue messenger icons.

Search GPlay for either Blue Infinitum or Betterbean Blue themes. They've each got free & paid versions respectively.
Thyrus holo black theme on play store. This is theme for theme chooser but it will change your icons to blue
