So on my s1 with 4.2 installed I could reply to my texts and mark them as read from the notification bar, but on my s4 it seems everything to do with using App in the notification bar is disabled? Why is this? Cheers

Set your wallpaper from gallery. Don't use the wallpaperpicker.
