Krusell finaly announced a case for the TytnII I think these are the best casses in the market I have used on with the K jam, then the Jasjam and I will order this one when it becomes available later this month.

Wow, thanks. I've been waiting for Krusell to come out with a case for the TyTN II. I have sent an email to my local vendors right away.
Thanks,
Phil
Man that case does look nice, i hope it isn't to bulky

That's my only worry. I agree they do look like very good cases, but I'd really like a case that protects without making the phone 50% thicker!
Krusell cases are excellent value for money - I've used them for years

I agree. My last phone was the Palm Treo 650 and after removing the phone after having it in my Krussel case for awhile, I was surprised how small my phone felt 'nude'.
Cheers,
Phil
Personally the only thing I miss from my old Jasjam is the Krusell leather case I find it hard to use with the supplied case and always fear dropping it

I have tired to find cool slim cases for my Wizard and Hermes with NO luck. Some of the better leather cases that are thin do not work well as the phone can slide out (when moving fast or coming down stairs) and the uber cool two piece plastic case (this case was cool as you can slide open keyboard without having to open anything - face is always visible too) I found a few months ago was cool until the plastic would no longer keep the phone in the case and would fall right out. Between the Wizard and Hermes, I have owned about 15 cases including the Aluminum cases. All are a bust! I just ordered the Krusell tonight (will ship Next Day Air tomorrow) and will settle for a thicker case in which my phone will NEVER get damaged. I will provide feedback on Wednesday when it arrives..

Images of Krusell Case and my Tilt!
I am a case freak and have purchased every case under the sun (pouches, Aluminum, two piece snap-on case and many many more) for my Wizard and Hermes in the past. It really surprises me that NO ONE can make a good case that allows the PDA/Phone to be FUNCTIONAL while providing good protection. Today my Krusell arrived. Before purchasing I was mixed on the main flap that covers the entire phone when closed. I like to be able to glance at my phone to see incoming calls, emails and text messages.
Anyway, the case is well made and the phone fits firmly into the case (which means phone will not fall out). I do not like the fact that the clip is placed "high" on the rear of the case. When sitting one must becareful not to break the clip. Running with the phone attached could be an issue as well with the clip placement high. Unforunately you have to unsnap the 2nd smaller flap to slide the phone open for keyboard use. I have dealt with this in the past and will probably be ok with it. Bottom line is the case protects the phone very very well. In the past I have found good functional cases that did not protector or hold the phone well. Images are below. Sorry for the poor lighting as I took these at work. I have a photo light at home and will take better images tonight.

Thanks for the pics! I was hoping someone would get this case and post some pics. You can't always rely on the sellers pics.
I am a real big fan of the Krusell cases. I think you will be hard pressed to find better made product. Having said that, I just can't warm up to this case. If it was more like the one for the 8525 I would buy it in a second. It fit my "needs" on the 8525 perfect for how I use the phone. Plus I didn't have to lift a single flap to operate it. This one for the Kaiser/Tilt does, and you have to flip open two flaps to use the keyboard.
I guess I will pass on this one.
Maybe I need to get the thread, needle and some fine Corinthian leather out and make my own.

I agree with you on the functionality (to many flaps).. But for the meantime I will use for protection therefore my search "will" continue.. Your IDEA of making your own case is good. So hard to find a good case for any Phone these days.
I do like this one: https://www.noreve.com/product_info.php?products_id=2069

Will give it a shot next week when it ships.....
Has anyone purchased and received the Noreve Kaiser case yet?
Would be interested in seeing how it works. I'm still using my Krusell horizontal pouch that I used with the 8525 and it makes the device easily accessible rather than having to open many things to access the device like the book cases.

I guess you can expose the camera.. I never noticed.. I did not notice that you can pull the rear of the case down to expose the camera and speaker (the magnet is pretty strong).

Does anyone know if HTC will ship the ratail non-branded Touch PRO version with a case?
I only want to get a simple slip-in case that protects the PRO when in a pocket or anything. For usage I would just take it out of the case.

It is going to be shipped with a case but probably not what you're expecting.

As long it is some case that allows you to put it in and out I am fine - at least it is a case...
Case
It's not really a case - more like a slip. You can't attach it to your belt.
I'm off to buy a decent case for it.
Yep, it's literally just a leather "tube" that you slide the Raphael into, with a ribbon stitched inside to stop it sliding out of one end. Snug fit though, so it wont be sliding out too easily anyway. Pics (taken with a Diamond) attached...

Yep, that's what came with my UK Raphael.
And thanks grahamrb, should have done that myself!
Is it leather? I hear is more like soft plastic or something...
Seems like leather to me. It's well made and protects the phone well but you just cannot connect it to your belt.
From the pics it's seems a great case.
I hate those cases that had a belt clip, for example for the Prophet, yuck!!
I hate them belt clips to and besides that the risk of losing your phone get's even bigger.
Always in my pocket and guard it with my life

I like the case very much, it keeps the overall size of Phone+Case down as much as conceivably possible. I don't think I need to purchase a new case, unless of course someone teases me with a better one!
Here is a link to a Belt case that HTC should be producing:

I would love to see these cases for the Diamond/Pro:
http://www.beyzacases.com/cat-apple-iphone-3g-cases-roadline---slim-cases.cfm
In custom colours like VAJA offers them...
Anyone know of any other suitable cases that mount on a belt horizontally?
I have the case that came with the Touch Pro and, all in all, it's good quality except it's just a slip and is a bit tight, i.e. can't get the phone out quickly.
There was a leather version of the official case advertised which looked better than the soft version (which seems to open around the edges for my liking and that material doesn't offer enough stiff protection), but that seems to have vanished.

The above links show the Original HTC cases. Is that what you are after or is that the soft material you mentioned?

Yep, that's the soft material one which doesn't look like it gives much protection, also seems quite open at the bottom, probably only an elastic strip in the middle.
There was a leather case being advertised but that seems to have gone now.

These are very nice! I'm a bit skeptical though about the magnetised studs to close it, could they cause problems with the memory (internal or cards) due to the magnetic field? Anybody have experience with these either way?
Check out the case I just picked up from the AT&T store. The slider works PERFECT!
Is this the Body Glove brand case?
Is an AT&T brand for 4600. Was VERY surprised to see this there.
Nice! I'm gonna have to check that out at the store. I'm guessing that cost around $30?
Yea, something like that. I think it was $28+ tax.
Interesting. This is the one I was talking about. It looks very similar.
http://www.bodyglove.com/products_detail.php?product_id=25864
Here is the package.
I had a problem with the case at first as it had a small piece of plastic in top left corner that was just big enough to push the start key on the screen if you can beleive that. With that, I was NOT able to do anything and at first thought it was my device. I took the case off, fuze was then working and noticed the corner piece. Shaved it down real fast and everything was fine. It has a nice rubber feeling. Stays put if on your seat unlike the original fuze back which we all should know if you hit your breaks and the fuze is on your seat, well, its now on your passenger floor! Also feels real nice in your hand. Overall, good buy!
Nice case...and interesting...do you guy know where i can get it in Asia??
Looks like it adds a little more to the thickness... but looks nice!
Very nice...does the keyboard slide open or do you have to open the case first?
Wow. Holy crap. It looks horrible to me >.>
Na,
its perfect. The original case is whats horrible.

The original case? I don't think a case came with the fuze? lol? I'm waiting for Seidio to come up with a case for the fuze. I'd definitely want that.
Keyboard slides out with the case on perfectly. I have had seidio cases in the past. This case is VERY simular to them. The only difference I can see with this case vs. my past experience with seidio cases for slide out keyboard's like my last from them on the tilt, is this case is padded inside to protect the device. My past experience with seidio cases like this would beat up the phone abit if they were in too long. This guy looks like it will protect that black mirror fuze shell! LOL
Thanks for the heads up...gotta go take a look at this one!
I called 3 stores and they all tell me there is no case for it yet and I tell them otherwise. They don't like being told they are wrong. lol
Daydeal.com has them (well had them when I ordered it) for $19.00 USD.
can you post the bar code for this AT&T case please?
Anybody know if this is the same one as the Body Glove one mentioned a few posts earlier (see the given link)?
hmm looks interesting. im gonna go check my local store.
does anyone know if i can try it on my phone before i buy it? is the package openable so i can test it?
are there seriously no good cases out there? i am having a really hard time finding out worth buying out there. the boxwave honeycomb one doesn't look good to me. anyone else know of a good hard case to fit the TMO HD2?

I just got a hard rubberized case from thinkhd2.com .they shipped fast and so far its a pretty nice one.
Not the hard case, but you may opt for something like InvisibleShield/BSE skin + soft case.
I use PDAir vertical case and it is very good.
ugh...thanks for the options, but none of those look good to me. i'm just not sure what i want, but i'd like it to be a hard case, and not a soft one

Ryan, check THIS thread out, several options are listed and discussed there.
I just bought one today at the mall a clear case with a screen protector for $20. The case looks really good but doesn't cover the entire phone. With the screen protector, 90% of the phone is protected. I like it cause it shows off the phone while keeping it protected and slim to hold. Definently recommend if you like the looks and feel of the phone without a case but want that extra protection.
Hello, I hope you're doing well.
Is there a consensus on the best protective Nexus 4 case? I've spent hours looking through cases and reading reviews, but haven't been able to find a case that provides the utmost protection, such as Lifeproof and Otterbox cases. The closest I've been able to find is a Ballistic case.
If there isn't a consensus, can I get some recommendations, please? Thank you very much.
Vic
There's no obvious answer but I would imagine it would be this or maybe this if you consider that more protective.

Thanks for the reply! These look like viable options, but I'm still looking for an all-protection case that can actually take phone drops, just in case.

Thanks for the help; I did mention the Ballistic case in my original post (I just couldn't provide a direct link). It's helpful to see another member confirm that the Ballistic case is a good one.
I plan to place an order for this Ballistic case once it comes back in stock, unless I find a better case.
It looks like the Ballistic case doesn't come with a screen protector, so I ended up getting a XtremeGuard protector for $3 (protection for both front and back) using code 70OFF. My research shows that Zagg and Best Skins Ever have better screen protectors, but their prices are significantly higher.
