Hi guys, I have been browsing the forum on how to do that but it seems like there is not a guide anywhere, I'm sure a lot of people were able to do it with scattered advice...but anyways, if anyone can make me a step-by-step guide on how to Flash the Sprint EVO 4g to Virgin Mobile (and provide the tools for it, since a lot of links are disabled) for a fair price, please let me know, i'm new here so obviously i'd send money first.

The Wingster: Access to all of the best Programs, ROMs, and Hacks for your T-Mobile Wing
As many of you already know, I created a website called "The Wingster", which is dedicated to everything for the T-Mobile Wing.
Programs - All programs are tested for compatibility with the Wing, any bugs or issues are reported, screenshots are created, features are listed, and more. I'm making all the apps on XDA accessable by the common user!
ROMs - There are a lot of ROMs out there, and since the cooks are busy creating newer versions, they don't always have time to make a nice detailed description page about their ROM. So I do it for them! Don't spend all of your time digging through a lengthy thread, if there was anything important that happened, it will be on The Wingster!

I could understand griping at me if I just came here saying "Hay guise! I'm too
lazy to spend any time doing research and finding out how to do this on my
ownz. Could somebody just spoonfeed me something they spent hours
learning how to do?"
If that were the case I would deserve much scorn and derision but perhaps
you might hear my explanation and perchance give me a little help.
I recently bought an HTC Vogue that was sold to the original buyer through
Sprint. I have Cricket. Since I previously had an account with Sprint I thought
I could set one up again but no, they turned me down, don't know exactly
why.
I was buying the phone to replace my Sanyo that was going off the deep end
and thought I would learn to unlock/flash the new one over to Cricket on my
own. Much time was spent joining forums, reading conflicting advice and
gnashing my teeth. Then, joy of joys, the Sanyo craters all together and I
now have no connectivity at all. To worsen matters my cell line is how I get
business, being a handyman and I many people are reluctant to hire someone
who doesn't answer their phone. So, much to my consternation, I desperately
need to get my Vogue working on the Cricket network. I have the Vogue's
ESN registered as the phone on my account now and the guy was kind
enough to provide me with the min, mdn and SID numbers when I went in
to do the changeover but that's all I gots.
I have seen too many pages of data telling me the alleged definitive way to
get not only my voice service working on Cricket, but text, SMS, web AND
GPS as well but I am reluctant to try any of them because I can ill afford to
buy another phone because I bricked this one. Nor do I want to pay someone
to do it for me when I know that given the right info, I can do it myself.
I know it is stupid to lose business because I want to flash my own phone but
surely many of you out there feel the same way.
Here's what I am asking. Can a few of you kindhearted folks point me to the
ultimate and definitive guide to getting all of my services working on the
Cricket network? I really have put in a lot of search time but all I can say for
certain is that I believe that xda Devs is the site that is my best shot.
I would be very grateful if someone could help, I have also seen evidence of
many people saying that Android is the way to go instead of WM but I have
no idea if I should just stay with Windows Mobile 6, upgrade to a newer one
or switch to Android much less if I should make a change before or after I
flash the phone to Cricket. Uggggghhh.
Please good sirs (and ladies?) thy help would be most fortuitous at this
juncture.

It looks like I figured out that since the phone was an insurance
replacement that it has Windows Mobile 6.1 on it, that solves
one riddle for me.
I've seen very few guides to doing this..and most of them from rather untrustworthy sites.
Basically because I believe the same information can be used to CLONE a cell phone, stealing someone else's service.
I'm afraid that's not of much help to you, but I looked into it once before, and was told basically unless the provider was willing to program it for me, it would be very difficult to do.
You have to change the ESN to the one of the Sanyo... which is illegal afaik
I realize this is a TMO forum but since the HD2 is a TMO phone, I'm hoping someone has already done this.
I've been with TMO since April and while I'm generally happy with lesser dropped calls than AT&T, TMO's 3G service is very sporadic and does not seem to be as prolific in its availability as AT&T's.
Has anyone successfully used an unlocked HD2 on AT&T?
I would appreciate any information and suggestions on this, especially which ROM(s) to use to de-brand it and any tips/tweaks that will allow the HD2 to fully function on AT&T, including Data and Carrier/Frequency settings.
I don't plan on using the AT&T 2GB plans, just their "Unlimited" package for "dumb phones". Tethering is definitely needed.
ANY help in this will be greatly appreciated. If you don't feel like posting, you can PM me with the details.

im guessing you didnt read much before you posted. yes tons of people use the tmous on at&t, yes it works, no you wont get 3G.

Actually I did, and after wading through a seemingly endless barrage of "chatty" mostly unfocused and unrelated posts, I decided to cut to the chase and post my own thread with the hope that someone with SUBSTANTIVE answers would respond.
You see, a common theme in most forums (this one included) is that direct and specific answers are seldom posted. Instead, there is the obvious posts from those that just like to post and see their post published for the world to see and appreciate.
Personally, I find posts like "I have that same problem..." or "why don't you like TMO..." or even "have you read the other posts..." adds very little to the discussion and only serves to inflate the thread to a multi-page diatribe that does little to serve or answer the original question.
I really don't care to hear about the mother-in-law that has the same issue, or the poor guy with a bricked phone, posted in the same thread as a specific and succinct request for assistance.
Please don't be offended but if you feel like flaming me on this then I respectfully request that you do so in a specific flaming thread and not this one. I would really appreciate responses from those willing and wanting to answer my question, sans lectures and unrelated tripe.

direct answer, yes, it will work once you network unlock it, no you won't get 3g or hsdpa, and no amount of radio or rom flashing will be able to enable 3g, its a hardware limitation.

The only way to get 3g on this phone HD2 on the AT&T network is to buy the Australian version Telestra T9193, they go for between 500-700 on eBay.

Hello All! Have been a reader of the various threads for sometime, and I'm looking for information on flashing my old HTC Mogul to Cricket. Have a friend who's HTC Touch he was using bite the dust, he wants to buy my Mogul, providing I can provide a working phone on his Cricket service. He will require working web and MMS, any and all other refinements are a plus. Can someone please direct me to the appropriate thread to get me started? While I don't consider myself a novice (have done some wicked modding to my HTC TP2 on the Sprint network), I am looking for info that is well communicated and easy to follow, as this will be my first carrier changeover. hello all, this is my first time here, although i am not a noobie to flashing phones, i need help finding information to get my phone flashed back to USCC using DFS cdma tool. It's easier just to start from the beginning. i bought a uscc s4 off ebay, and paid to have it flashed to page plus, it worked well for a while and then just died service wise after a couple months and page plus offered me nothing but problems so i cancelled my service with them and need to get back to uscc so i can just have everything back to normal. right now i am on the stock rom, version 4.4.2 ... to be honest, all i really am posting for is the information i need to use in DFS, i didint screenshot anything during the remote flash and i do not have any of the information i need in order to write to the phone and have it connect to uscc towers again. im not certain if im just stupid, and its something so obvious that noone posts about it anywhere, or if its something so complicated that noone has the information. either way, i really need my phone back, and even if this is so stupid to read that youre shaking your head please at least just respond and tell me about my stupidity and just give the answer, this is driving me nuts, i already put the original esn back however i dont know any of the other info for uscc. please help and thank you all for taking the time to help.
