I would try the "Reset to default" option in the APN window and see if it starts working.
When I was last on AT&T (a few months back), the default APN settings read in from the SIMM card on my Nexus S were:
Name: Cingular 410
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: <not set>
Port: <not set>
Username: [email protected]
Password: CINGULAR1
Server: cingulargprs.com
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS port: <not set>
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: <not set>
APN type: default,supl,mms
APN protocol: IPv4

Apn for free tether 2.2

What are the apn setting to get tether of 2.2?
Sent from my MB860 using XDA Premium App
Are you running the official AT&T 2.2 update? If so, I don't know that you have permission to change the APN settings on the phone.
If you're using a custom ROM on a rooted phone, all the popular ROMs should already be configured to work with tethering.
I'm running official update. What it does allow me to customize apn. Could u give me the setting?

Are you trying to use att built in tether app? Cause that's a paid service you have to add to your phone. You need to use a third party tethering app.

It's probably an issue with your friend's device. Have you checked to see if the pictures are better quality when your friend sends them to other people?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
yes i did check my moms phone and my brother's as well..and when they send me picture it looks blurry on my gs2... my mom has an galaxy s 4g and my brother an iphone 4 and they send pictures to each other and it looks perfect. I don't know what the problem could be.. maybe the mms.apk?
anyone guys???
This is a known issue when using non T-Mobile phones on the network. There was a fix for WM but non that I know of for android.

My MMS has stopped sending. Any suggestions?

MMS stopped sending pics a day or two ago. Does the 'sending spin dance'.
Any suggestions really appreciated.
Thanks
Check your MMS settings to see if they are correct for your carrier

I'm using Att and just have 'automatically select preferred network'
I had the problem last month. Try typing phone number manually no dashes or brackets. If it goes through just use the contacts cleanup App and fix your contacts.
Mike
have you checked the actual APN settings for our carrier? I have had it in the past when the settings get messed up.
Settings>Wireless&Networks>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names>select your APN which I assume is called ATT (or maybe Cingular by the looks of the settings I found on net) and check the settings are correct, mainly MMSC for MMS.
From looking on the net the settings should look something like this
Name: Cingular 410
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: <Not set>
Port: <Not set>
Username: [email protected]
Password: CINGULAR1
Server: <Not set>
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com/
MMS proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: <Not set>
APN type: <Not set>
Worth a check.
Thank you. Those settings did it. Wonder how they got messed up?!
I copied and saved them.
Thanks again

Could you guys possibly try my sms app , it's really supposed to be for the UK and to combat mms charges, although I'm currently adding mms support, I wouldn't mind your opinions on it and how you find google drive image sending etc... oh and if you did want to test mms, you long press on the logo and enter the app code "mmstest" and it will enable options... anyways, just a suggestion as I lack UK testers at the moment.
