Hello,
My current problem is that my Nexus 7 shows that it's connected to wifi (blue icon), but it has trouble browsing the internet.
I can:
-download/upload from dropbox and google drive
-browse https webpages
-update facebook
-refresh flipboard/current
-access my home router settings w/ browser
I cannot:
-browse http sites
-access play store
-load youtube videos w/ app
-sync mail/calendar
I have reset my router, cleared data and cache (chrome, dolphin browser, floating browser), rebooted numerous times, but it still has the same problem. I have tried other wifi hotspots and they were the same results.
This problem has been for a few days, everything was fine before.
My tablet is rooted with stock kernel and ROM Version 4.1.2 JZO54K (Yes, still not on the 4.2 boat)
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, my provider has migrated from PPPoE to DHCP and now I can connect to Internet alright but cannot go anywhere - none of the browsers (Opera Mobile and UC Browser) can load any page of any site. Is there any workaround - I've tried to uninstall and re-install both browsers to no avail, tried to go to 192.168.1.1 to do some setup steps as I did with a Big Brother (PC) and failed to load one of the consecutive pages? All other devices (Notebook, Samsung Galaxy SIII) in my home work fine, they just "grabbed" the Internet without any intervention from my part, only NSTs (mine and my son's) refuse to work with DHCP. NST FW 1.2.1, rooted, multitouch, NoRefresh_update, FastMode2, NookTouchTools, kernel 166.
Update - 29.04.2013 10:00 - Today I've brought my NST to my work and WiFi works fine, can load any page in Internet. Will try to contact with my provider's customers support.
Update: - 29.04.2013 20:30 - Home - My Big Brother's IP address is 192.168.1.1 and NST's is 192.168.1.4.
ABP blocks connections to Google (e.g. I can't access Play Store), so I uninstalled it and removed the proxy settings for WiFi and mobile data. Now, I can access Google sites, but NOT any non-Google sites.
On Chrome, I get: This webpage is not available
How do I fix it?
Edit: Fixed by restarting.
Hello Board, I hope I can get some help with this one.. I upgraded from S6 to S7. After the transfer of all of the files, I'm able to get to all of the Google Apps on the phone, but for some reason it will not download the content on them on WiFi. Examples: in Google Play Store I can view the pages, but when I start to download it just hangs and download shows download bar, but nothing downloads. In Google Maps the background maps will not download, Google Play freezes after asking which account I want to use. Youtube loads the pages but will not play videos and there area few more. It is All Google apps only and only Via WiFi. If I disable WiFi and go onto Data, it all works...... I have access to my old S6 and a second S6 and both devices work just fine on the local WiFi with N/G and AC WiFi modes.
This has to be a Marshmallow/Google/S7 issue. only. I have tried all of the standard fixes I could find on Google. Clearing data and caches, resetting app defaults, installing and reinstalling apps, changed every setting and restarted everything multiple times and restarted the device several times as well.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Clear data on Google play services, sign out then sign in again.

OK, Cleared out Google Play Services data and cache, closed all apps, signed out and in, retried Google Play and same issue. Did the same and then rebooted cleared again just to be sure and retried and same issue.
Can someone check on their S7 to see if there is a Download Manager App?
SOLVED: Marshmallow is having issue routing on the phone when DHCP issues an IPv4 and IPv6 address at the same time. Disabling IPv6 on the Router removes the IPv6 and routing issue. Because Google uses mainly IPv6 address internally, the apps on Marshmellow tries to communicate from the app via IPv6, at which the local WiFI router had no way to route it.
Hope this helps others.
I just booted up my old note 3 for use as a drone controller, but for some weird reason I am unable to get into the play store because every time I try to add a google account it gives me the message 'Cannot establish reliable connection to server' despite my internet connection working perfectly fine (can access play store on chrome and android browser)
At first I thought this might be due to a date/time error but even after manually setting the date and time (as well as automatic settings) the error persists. The weather app, S assistant, Youtube and web browsing works fine, however several applications like Flipboard, ChatOn, DJI Go 4 and any type of google service which requires a account are all unable to connect to their servers. I've tried using a different WAP, verifying client access via the web and factory resetting the phone, but nothing seems to fix it.
If anyone knows how I can fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi folks,
I'm trying to (remotely!) solve some kind of weird issue. On a Samsung A3 phone, on any wifi or on the mobile connection :
I can : download apps from the Play Store, take remote control with TeamViewer, browse the internet (only with Samsung browser!).
I can't : receive mails from Office 365 (neither Samsung mail or Microsoft Outlook app), I can't browse the internet with chrome.
I tried :
- accessing websites with their IP, same issue, so not a DNS issue.
- Uninstalling a bunch of apps (like sophos). Now there are only really basic apps installed.
- Rebooting a few times.
- Clearing all datas from Samsung browser, chrome app, samsung mail app.
I'm slowly running out of ideas... Do you have any ?
Thanks
