Hi. I´m a brand new member and I´m looking for a solution to a sad problem...
I recently bought an almost new Trophy which has never been updated.
I used Zune to load all the updates (it have been several updates which got installed - took around 2 hours).
After this the Tropy went into a reboot-loop. The system boots up, stays for 10 seconds and reboots.
I also did a hardreset already - same result.
I managed to get the following information during the reboots (translated - as my Trophy is an austrian A1 Version):
Hardware: 0003
Bootloader version: 4.6.2250.0
System Version: 7.10.7720.68
Radio version: 2250.21.40600.117
Radio software: 5.69.09.05a
Chip-SOC-V: 2.2.5.0
How can I save my investment? Unfortunately the person who sold me has no bill any more - so I cannot expect any warranty services. :crying:
Thanks.

Greetings, its been a while since I posted on here. Having been a long time user of the XDA & XDAII i've got a newly discovered problem with the SIM unlock
Had the XDAII on a years contract with O2, it expired in january i didn't renew with them as i found the whole O2 as a service provider thing rather crap.
I've just been using my XDAII as a GPS for the past couple of months, however i've now got a new SIM from https://www.easymobile.com/
the XDAII is the latest official version that came from O2
ROM Version: 1.72.00WWE
ROM Date: 03/15/04
Radio Version: 1.17.00
Protocol Version: 1337.28
ExtROM version: 1.72.181
I've downloaded and tried the xda2unlock.exe program
However it keeps telling me that the unit is unlocked
Serial v1.01
i get the message 'phone seems unlocked already!'
Any ideas whats going wrong here?
Anyone?
had to go back to using my SPV ( man is that a ****ty phone)
It's very weird this problem. The unlock program used to work fine before i upgraded.
What would you guys recommend?
Can any one help, should i install a new ROM image?
just want to get the phone working on my new SIM
cheers dudez
Did you try both versions of unlock, one is executed on phone, the other from desktop.
Hey all,
I opened up my HTC HD2 today and first thing I thought I'd do is to upgrade its rom to the latest official release from HTC.
Unfortunately, when I go to http://www.htc.com/uk/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=297&cat=2&dl_id=856 ( Release Date: 2010-01-25 ) and enter my serial, I'm told "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device"
From Googling and looking on here it would seem that most people who receive this message are tied to their operators rom and therefore can't 'officially' upgrade.
I got my phone from ebay 'sim free'. Currently things look like this on the phone:
OS version: 5.2.21864 (21864.5.0.81)
ROM version: 1.43.405.1 (70124) WWE
ROM date: 10/26/09
Radio version: 2.04.50.22_2
Could this be a phone that was bought from an operator, though the phone has no signs of branding?? i.e. normal HTC startup screen, no logos on casing, etc.
I was hoping to use the latest official ROM on this device as not to void my warranty. Can anyone decypher from the above info why my phone can't get the latest ROM from HTC, and how to go about getting it?
Thanks in advance!!!
Just an update - I've assumed that the phone was never an official 'HTC sim free' - therefore with no time to waste (cut my losses, I should have checked before purchase) I've HardSPL'd it and am going to flash it with 1.66 WWE once its done downloading.
Oh well, I'm sure I would have HSPL'd it eventually anyway, curiosity always gets the better of me with these devices. Now to look into some custom rom business...!
All the HD2s have no branding but can be vendor locked in that the operator needs to approve ROMs for release. for example, Vodafone took a couple of months 2 release the 1.66 ROM afer HTC released it
Hello,
I have an SFR brand (French) but unlocked HTC 7 Trophy.
I successfully applied 1st update on monday night.
Discovering I still had to wait for Nodo I used Chevronwp7.updater.
It seemed to work properly for about 30 min.
It suddenly stopped and rebooted the device.
Phone, body of text message and Internet Explorer cant be accessed any more!
They hang and seem to abort before bringing you back to the menu.
I made a hard reset, lost everything but kept the problem.
Customization aborts after language selection.
Zune considers the phone not to be ready.
Chevronwp7.updater aborts and the device is still in Nodo version!
No Spark rom is accepted and Schubert ones abort with communication error 262.
I tried from Win XP SP3 and from Win 7 x86.
Any idea? I seem not te be the only one who gets this pb. Please help!

Have you tried to flash this ROM:
5. Vodafone_FR (SFR) operator, CV 163 with CID VODAP203:
5.1 BR: RUU_Spark_Vodafone_FR_1.08.163.01_Radio_5.50.09.15 _22.23.50.09U_by_ansar
from this thread:

Same thing happened to mine, read Walshie's blog @ http://blog.walshie.me/
You need to select the proper language for your device or it WILL NOT work correctly.
Edit: I re-flashed base rom prior to running updater again.

Oops, many thanks for your advice, I actually didn't see that one!
It just finished flashing the phone and its configuration is completed.
Issue is fixed! Thank you very much! Too bad!
Thanks for your reply, as I followed Walshie's how to I knew the risk.
English language configured, I actually chose 0 for US English.
I would like to make another try by choosing 2 for French.
I let you know asap.
Hello,
Just to tell you that device properly reseted and 1st update, 7.0.7008.0, succesfully applied, choosing 2 for French by running ChevronWP7.Updater didn't reproduce the issue!
I'm still applying last HTC update but everything should be ok now. Thanks for your help!
Hello,
I finally reproduced the issue simply by switching display language from French to English after applying Nodo!
This means: French SFR Rom + English display + Nodo = no more phone application, no more text message body access and no more IE! :/
I can't tell if the pb is linked to that rom, to its language or to HTC Trophy but others could be concerned!?
thanks for your help.
So... I have an unbranded Samsung Omnia7 16GB (from t-mo.de)
Installed UK Retail rom, and upgraded to Mango (via Zune, force).
After upgrade it was some troubles with my live account and i made hard reset. After this everything working fine. But it was impossible to upgrade NOW app (from Samsung Zone). I uninstalled it. After this i have a notice
"This application is not available for your devices. Press here for more info."
And after clicking :
"This might be because your phone software need to be updated, the application is exclusive to a different mobile provider, or the app is not available in your region."
Why before hard reset IT WAS possibility to Update/Install ?
Nothing changes after hard reset (just clean system).
I don't want to make a reset again )
All configs for region : UK.
OS: 7.10.7720.68
Firmware: 2424.11.8.5
Hardware: 3.15.0.4
Radio softw.: 2424.11.7.2
Radio hardw.: 0.0.0.800
Bootloader: 5.8.1.9
Chip: 0.36.2.0
I have the same problem...
+ 1
same problem!
same here
It's weird, i have it installed and working but if i go to samsung zone it tells me same message as first post, maybe they are fixing marketplace.
Same problem for me.
I had the same problem for a few days but now I can install/update it without any problem.
What's really bugging me, is that I can't find the exact error description for error 80320011. All search result indicate that this is somekind of periodical error, but I don't buy that.
Just got the update via Zune - Official prompt - Orange UK branded.
I've had no update notifications as of yet. I went to check Samsung now, update button was available but it gave me 80320011 error.
Now it is showing as my 1 update available but i can't install it.
odd...
Don't like having the update notification on my marketplace so i uninstalled the now app. I can no longer even install it as it says it's not available for my device / i need an update.
I guess the app itself is broken since loads are reporting this.
+1
I got official Mango yesterday to my unbranded unlocked 16GB and I have th esame issue. I uninstalled the original version and now I get the message that it is unavailable for my phone;duh..
we'll just have to wait and see what happens over the next few days.
I've the same problem!
i've updated my 16 gb to mango but when i try to update now it gave me the error.
I think the problem is that aren't installed some samsung drivers.
I installed the lastest samsun dribers and now have the following
FW 2424.11.8.5
HW 3.15.0.4
radio SW 2424.11.7.2
Bootloader 5.8.1.9
and still, I cannot install the latest version of NOW. I still had the original and deleted it thinking that it was preventing the newer version from installing and now I have lost the programme completely. I tried marketplace again this morning and still no joy. It simply says that the version of NOW is not suitable for my device.

Official update - no drivers added and mine doesn't work. I think the app is just broken rather than it being a driver issue.
Hey mates, I noticed the app in repository is a different version
i see:
Autore: SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS Co. Ltd.
data di pubblicazione: 25/08/2010
versione: 2.5.0.0, 8 MB
and checked my installed one is: 2.5.0.1 copyright 2011 Samsung Electronics.
what about yours??? (people that managed to install update)
XXKC1 rom with retail italy csc updated with network pull trick to mango
Versione SO: 7.10.7720.68

Numero revisione hardware: 3.15.0.4

nice look
my now is 2.5.0.1 copyright 2011 Samsung Electronics too.
and in market i cannot update it (obvius, it is still at 2.5.0.0)
but why !!!???
anyway my omnia run mango with an official upgrade (no network trik, straight upgrade from zune at the day one from developer beta)
Versione SO: 7.10.7720.68
Numero revisione firmware: 0222.11.8.5 -------> only this is different!! (but my zune doesn't show any unpgrade)

Versione hardware radio: 0.0.0.800
Versione bootloader: 5.8.1.9

maybe they have removed the last update and this make the app unavalaible to those who downloaded it? i am afraid to remove it, now "now" works (and the live tile works too, sometimes!) and what's appen if i uninstall it and cannot reinstall? sammie i love you but this time seems you fail!
Of course I don't remove it too for your firmware i saw a thread in forum with a program to update, just look for it , if you would like to
Also affected by this one - was unable to update the old version on my Focus, so deleted and now can't install at all...
Well, I then tried to get back to Nodo because, like you, I deleted NOW completely and then couldnt reinstall. The phone bricked and would not go back with the restore. So I installed KC1 using the WP7 downloader which worked fine and then tricked Zune to give me the updates. I now have NOW back again and it tells me there is an update for NOW in Marketplace. When I click on it it goes through the process asking me if I will allow location "on". When I click yes I get a message saying that the request cannot be completed quoting error code 80320011 so all that hassle for nothing. I too think its nothing to do with drivers etc. Sammy needs to get it fixed!
I ave same issue. I update my Omnia 7 to Mango, and now marketplace give me an 80320011 error, and uder software description is exclamation that says "This application is not available for your device". Good Lord, I have Samsung Omnia 7, not HTC, LG, or whatever. Why this could not be available for my device... grrr

mean? Do you have a picture? I'm assuming you have the GSM Euro Trophy. Have you attempted to unlock it or flash a newer rom of any kind? If your system build is 7691, then your running some old pre-release of Mango.
You might have a half bricked bootloader that is in need of GoldCard.

Hi,
I've GSM Euro Trophy in English. This device was a demo unit and I don't know if it was unlocked, flashed, ...
In a HTC customer service center, the technician suggest me that it could be a motherboard problem and he wants to check not for free, obviously. What are the symptoms of motherboard failure ?
In my opinion it seems that bootloader is damaged. What's the latest bootloader version of Trophy ?
