Hi people,
I've some problems with my HTC Trophy.
When I power on, it hanges and I need to take off the battery and power on again to finally work.
The screen outs next:
HTC
BLDR 0.0.2250
7.10 (7691)
I've restored factory setting using key combination and problem continues.
Any ideas, suggestions ?
I want to unlock itm could be a good moment to change the ROM version ?
Thank you

Damnit, i seriously do not like the new XDA theme's thanks button....
Anyway, What? What does:

mean? Do you have a picture? I'm assuming you have the GSM Euro Trophy. Have you attempted to unlock it or flash a newer rom of any kind? If your system build is 7691, then your running some old pre-release of Mango.
You might have a half bricked bootloader that is in need of GoldCard.

Hi,
I've GSM Euro Trophy in English. This device was a demo unit and I don't know if it was unlocked, flashed, ...
In a HTC customer service center, the technician suggest me that it could be a motherboard problem and he wants to check not for free, obviously. What are the symptoms of motherboard failure ?
In my opinion it seems that bootloader is damaged. What's the latest bootloader version of Trophy ?

Hi,
i recently bought HTC touch S1 phone from Hong Kong, software on the phone is literary a ****, so i am trying to find out some replacement for it. I found Onyx that is to my likings, i am newbie and stuck. I am not sure is it a HTC or HTC clone so any information would be good if someone knows. Ive heard its possible to flash it with original HTC rom etc.. Would be very kind if someone can explain procedure how to properly do it.
Information behind battery is as follows:
ELF0100
HTC P3450
P/N: 99HDM030-00
In phone software under information is written:
ROM: 1.11.706.1B CHS
ROM Date: 05/24/07
Ril version: 03.07.90
Protocol: 4.1.13.51
RAM size: 128 MB
Nandflash size: 256 MB
Model: ELF0100

here is more or less all you need to know:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=406721
basically
first cid unlock by flashing some USPL or HSPL (this time u have to use the white screen method). i recommend ipl and hspl 3.10.
then flash a new radio if u want (3.34 recommended)
and flash any rom of your choice.
btw, cid unlocking is a different thing from sim unlocking
BE CAREFULL...this may be a ''clone''
First, try to know from the seller if it is a REAL HTC. If it's not, you're gonna brick it. Can you get to the bootloader? What's the SPL?
Easy thing to do, check the USB plug, is it a ''HTC'' mini-USB or a regular mini-USB?
Don't do nothing BEFORE you know if it's a clone or not....
Michel
DO NOT BASE YOUR CONCLUSION ON WHAT'S ON THE LABEL...
Good clones have the same labels as real HTC...
My 0.02
If i'm not wrong, the original HTC Touch has WM 6.0, if you haven't flashed it before, i think you have a clone
Here latest RUU for Schubert o2 UK

maybe someone can answer my Q:
would it be possible to flash this rom to a German o2 HD7 phone, or do we need a goldcard then ? (or something else, "jailbreak" )
I live in Germany but I would really want a English language phone .

nothing really since the phone just came out and we are all probably on the most current stock ROM.
Someone might try to decompile it and make a custom ROM out of it, but without any unlocker it would be pointless.
Didn't Dag need some sort of fancy software to extract the files from the wp7 roms???

hello friends, yesterday I gave my t-mobile htc Shubert, wanted to know if I can flash it with this rom and how is it done? thanks.

Lets hope so
Dear forum members,
It seems that is feasible, uploading files, stay tuned ...
In the following A, B, C and D sections is described the flashing process
of the NoDo unbranded ROM: RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.69.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50.10U_NoDo
A. Pre-Requisites
If your HD 7 is flashed with a ROM of the following releases:
1. RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.23.707.01_Radio_5.51.09.06a_22.30.50.09U
2. RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.57.707.02_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10U
then you can flash the following NoDo unbranded ROM and when you like you can comeback to your previous ROM
In case your HD 7 is flashed with a different of the above 1, 2 ROMs but your Firmware version at your phone settings>about>more information
is of the form xxxx.yy.zzzzz.707 i.e. with characteristic value 707
then you can also flash the following NoDo unbranded ROM, but you can comeback only to one of the above 1, 2 ROMs
B. Downloading
You must download the following 2 ROMs:
1. Download this zip ROM file: RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.69.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50.10U_NoDo_by_ansar
2. Download this zip ROM file: RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.69.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50.10U_NoDo_Signed_by_ansar
Extract the downloaded zip ROM files with an unzip / 7zip utility in separate folders of your choice
C. Flashing Process
In order to successfully flash the provided ROMs you must follow these steps:
1. Flash the ROM of the above (B.1.) extracted zip ROM file
2. After flashing HD 7 will remain at about 90% - 98%, ignore it
3. Hold the Power Button untill HD 7 will power off and enter to the bootloader mode
4. In the screen of your computer the ROMUpdateUtility will report a flashing ERROR
5. Ignore it and exit from ROMUpdateUtility
6. Now flash the ROM of the above (B.2.) extracted zip ROM file
7. After flashing your HD 7 will boot normally
8. Exit from ROMUpdateUtility and proceed with your brand new ROM
If you do not want them you can delete all operator apps, in order to have more free RAM
Beware, in WP7 deleting an application means it is deleted from ROM
D. ROM Flashing Instructions
In order to flash a ROM follow these steps:
1. Press and hold power-on/off button to power-off the phone
2. Press and hold volume-down button and then press power-on/off button to enter bootloader mode
3. When your phone enters the tricolor screen bootloader mode, release volume-down button
4. Connect your phone to your windows 7/vista/xp pc/laptop with a usb cable
5. Verify that your phone will be identified and relevant drivers will be installed by windows os of your pc/laptop
6. After completion of (D.5.) above, check the usb message connection on your phone screen
7. To flash the ROM go to your pc/laptop folder where the downloaded zip ROM file is extracted
8. Double click on the ROMUpdateUtility.exe file and strictly follow the instructions on your pc/laptop screen
Till next version enjoy!!!

Thanks... I saw this on Windows Phone 7 dev. forum and was going to mention it here, but you beat me to it! DL now, not sure if I am ready to flash yet. Any idea how I can get rid of HSPL on my HD7?
HSPL to SPL-XXXXX
i understand that if you install or flash your HD7 with the original ROM it will reset your SPL-XXXX , I hope that answer your question
Is this Rom will work tmous HTC hd7 developers unlocked?
Sent from my HD7 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
IF YOU have hard-spl'ed your device
Then this can be done:
Download the RTM provided by Fotball, extract it with in 7zip, delete the spl_signed.nbh (not completle sure if this is needed, but I did it anyway...delete or not at own risk, as always)
flash the rom
And here is where the warning about hard-spl and SPL versions 4.xx comes in, if you want to go back to using hard-spl,
DO NOT DO THAT WHEN USING THIS NEW RTM MANGO ROM
You MUST flash back to your stock rom and then flash rspl+hspl again.

Any easy way to flash my HTC HD7 T-Mobile USA
all the processes listed so far seems pretty easy. you need some help with something?
Hi all,
Can I just confirm something here - I've read through the two threads, and its not immediately obvious.
a) if I have no HSPL at all - is this fine
b) if I have 7200.68 upgraded from developer version (without the new HTC radios etc) will I need to flash to an earlier version
I'm pretty sure I've used one of these to update before, seemed easy enough and I didnt install HSPL to my knowledge.

I have the TMOUS HD7, why is the 2100 UMTS band so slow??? any one knows the reason? The phone can manage to get the H signal from where I live, my operator has the HSDPA band 1 UMTS 2100Mhz(currently upggraded to HSPA+), but my phone only gets UMTS speeds no HSDPA
It makes me feel that the 2100Mhz UMTS band in the TMOUS is limited to UMTS speeds.
Hi. I´m a brand new member and I´m looking for a solution to a sad problem...
I recently bought an almost new Trophy which has never been updated.
I used Zune to load all the updates (it have been several updates which got installed - took around 2 hours).
After this the Tropy went into a reboot-loop. The system boots up, stays for 10 seconds and reboots.
I also did a hardreset already - same result.
I managed to get the following information during the reboots (translated - as my Trophy is an austrian A1 Version):
Hardware: 0003
Bootloader version: 4.6.2250.0
System Version: 7.10.7720.68
Radio version: 2250.21.40600.117
Radio software: 5.69.09.05a
Chip-SOC-V: 2.2.5.0
How can I save my investment? Unfortunately the person who sold me has no bill any more - so I cannot expect any warranty services. :crying:
Thanks.
