[Q] Android 4.1 with baseband 404020? - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

I would love to know if it is possible to install FrozenPika or Cuvetto or Miui v4 with a 404020 baseband, if I use that baseband my u880+ is unlocked so I want to know if there is some way to make that, couse I have Aurora 4.04 2.08 and it is going a little slow on my phone.

If you want to face a unknown or null imei, go ahead. Otherwise, is the + upgradable to ics?
Sent from my u8800-51 running popaura ICS.

Yes yes, but when I upgrade it I lost my unlocked phone and it is again locked so I cannot use my SIM.

And here I read about GB baseband, but I don´t know if that means I can use this ROM with 404020 baseband, or I want to know is there is some B9XX that doesn´t get my phone locked again

Here you'll learn how to flash anything you want and links to threads containing flashtool and basebands. But why would you flash older baseband, which doesn't support custom ROMs, is beyond me.

Hello, you have two options, flash the original SFB your carrier, or do this SuperRootClick
If you need help, contact me
(If you think I helped a little thank me: D)
Where can I find a sbf for this build?
Code:
build number-4.5.1-134_DFP-891
Link to all sbf's
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=966537
U won't find sbf for the build u specified... Same problem was seen months back....
And the solution was to try and flash every sbf....
Well that's a tiredsome job..
By my personal opinion u try this 1 :
4.5.1-134-DFP-231 - retail, vodafon, tmobile, O2, full Blur
I use it whenever I brick my defy+

How to switch your phone back to the default factory rom?

Guys i have flashed my arc s with many custom roms and i flashed basebands and kernels and all such stuffs.
I wanted to know now if i want to make my phone back to like it was out of box, should i just flash the firmware via flashtools?
Will everything be same like new? (Baseband, Kernel)
Wifi, 3g etc everything will be normal like before just by flashing a official generic rom (Not to flash baseband or kernel or so?)
Thank you

If your bootloader is locked, you can use Sony Update Service.
If bootloader is unlocked, you cannot use the Update Service, you would only have Flashtool left to flash a stock ROM on your phone.

You can also relock bootloader with Flashtool and then use Sony Update Service to fully restore.

But why you want to lock bootloader with Flashtool and recover with Sony Update Service when you can recover with Flashtool alone?

There is no root method found yet for the 902.
And if you try 907/905 methods be prepared to rsd one of the xml here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/scorpion_mini_xt902/list.php
More here but he has a unlocked bootloader I assume you do not.

Your sys ver is older than anything around to save you. I cannot advise you to attempt rsd the newer smj- versions, they may break the needs of your carrier. So you have no recourse if you bork your phone while trying to root.
I do not think you can root & that is why we do not get many 902s here.
If you ever root you can unlock with sloosecannon's help on his thread, here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2226729&highlight=bootloader
or
The unlock apk is in my goodies. It voids you warranty.

Do you have an EFS backup? You can try to restore it and see if anything changed.

Hi, I had the same problem but I got a good news for you, go to this website (Chinese version) www.miui.com/getrom-110.html?m=yes&mobile=2 you'll find two builds one of them is the one that you've downloaded with no imei and the second one "Rain_bow build" is the one that I recommend you to flash .. And good luck ✌✌
