I tried pretty much all of the different options to set my CCF including using *004*1xxxx# and **004*1xxxx# format, using Google Voice app and no matter what I do, I can't set CCF. I've called AT&T and they don't see any problem. I have CCF enabled on 3 other phones on my account. GNex, ATRIX 2, and an iPhone. Can't do it on this phone . Any suggestions?

Any idea what they should be?

I've got this resolved. The problem was that AT&T had a different number in their system compared to what my phone was displaying in the CCF section. It wasn't pulling down the right number from their system. First they had to update their system to the same number as what was in my phone and then I was able to change it. Weird. But that's what was causing the problem. Hope this will help someone

lol. I've had this issue a lot with sprint also. I'm hating the fact that they can't get this network issue resolved fast enough

I've had this problem quite a lot recently. Oddly, it seems to only affect messages coming from one or two certain people on a given day.
Yes, me too. Completely random.

This could be caused by incorrect APN (Access Point Names) setting. Happened to me in the past.
These can be configured via Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names.
Google APN Settings for (Your Service Provider) and check to see if you have the right setup.
Do you use Google Voice? Google Voice has Sprint integration so if you selected that GV will intercept your incoming text messages

Same here (totally different provider and everything, but I had the same problems and the same solution).

Getting this error when trying to update some apps today. My phone is stock. Wondering if maybe my created APN settings have anything to do with it but I have been running that APN for a week. My APN is straight from a thread on here for better speeds. Thanks

Just try later, it always goes away for me (on other phone, not N4)
It is odd. Some apps now have gone through but one is being stubborn.

As others have already said, just keep trying. It's not your phone being faulty, some apps are just unable to install properly (had it on Xperia Neo V).

Hi all
I'm having trouble with the adult content filtering on Three. I've turned it off with them over the phone and as far as they can see it shouldn't be operating anymore and yet if I go to something like thechive.com I'm still getting blocked and given the adult content message. Anyone got any ideas what I, or they, might be missing?
Thanks!

try to use hidemyass.com
That site loads for me and I have Three's adult filter set to ON.
So if your having trouble your not being blocked by Three.
My mom setup blocks on T-Mobile, but it was my account, so I know the password, so I turned them off. And the problem solved

I had the same problem with Verizon here in the states, adult content worked fine over wifi but not on Verizon's mobile data even though I had all the filtering turned off. I tried all the different browsers, a proxy server and nothing solved the problem for me. I don't have the problem now that I am on Straight Talk AT&T so it was definitely on Verizon's end.
Hey Xda and thanks for viewing this thread I am in the process of flashing my New Sprint galaxy s4 to boost mobile but because this device has never been activated on a sprint account I cannot perform and system profile update or an prl update would someone be willing to do a nandroid of system and efs partitions on an device that have been activated on an account already it can be from a clean flash as long as the sprint activation is not being displayed on the device ,,it has been discussed it the note 2 forum but they now have a fix for it
can read up on it here also

Did you ever get any help with this? I have been reading the Note 2 post, and I think I may have read the whole thing from where they started talking about the S4 till the end, as well as about half the rest. I cannot get my S4 to get data working at all. I am in need of the Nandroid backup as well, unless you got it and it didn't work for you.
Nope no one seems to want to help ..but I have gotten the 3g function to work on the s4 by flashing the correct aaa passwords still cannot update profile or prl

Thanks! I had made it CDMA only, but not in there, in ##DATA#.
You know what, this means that I may have gone through all the headache for nothing. I'll start over and we'll see, it may all work without need of *2/activation.
Yeah the *2 method will not work unless the s4 was previously activated on a sprint account

Well, changing the data to CDMA didn't work either. I also have been reading on Nandroid backups that may help with this, and I think what we would need is the carrier. Someone said that EFS is ok to share, but carrier one would have user specific data once it has been activated. So, I guess my fix will be to get them activated on a Sprint line first, then go through the flash.
Thanks for your help!

Lol we live in Stephens city too (my fiance and i) and we're having the same issue with our g2's. Weirdly enough, it started happening right after we rooted our phones :-/ don't know if that had much to Do with it though... Not sure what it is but there's one thing I Do know it is and that's annoying! I hate having to answer my phone constantly because I'm worried it's an important call only to find out that I probably should have ignored it! Grrr... I don't like being on the phone much either and now I'm forced to take all calls
Settings / Call / Privacy Keeper. What are the settings checked there?
Disabled should show incoming call information.
See if that's the issue and let us know the result.

Mine only does it on 4g lte if i manually switch to 3g it works and it was doing this before i rooted. And the settings in privacy are disabled
Sent from my LG-LS980 using xda app-developers app
Drat. That's all I know to do.
My device is also rooted, and it's working on mine.
Wonder if it's tied specifically to when 4G isn't available.

So i went into the sprint store tonight and was talking with a district manager about my issue and he said that its a known issue and they are working on pushing an update within the next few days, he said that its only for the triband phones. But i think im gonna trade the phone in for the note 3 ole samsung has never given me any problems
