Prophet/Trinity battery?

Hi there,
just a short question for those who own/owned a Trinity and Prophet.
Is the battery the same?
I have a dead Prophet, and considering buying the Trinity.
I would be good if they have the same battery.

Just read the specs:
The Prophet has a 1200 mAh battery...
The Trinity has a 1500 mAh battery...
Doesn't sound like they are the same
@phoenix
no, not the same battery. these two batteries haven't still the same formfactor.

Hi Xenov,
thanks for the very informative information.
Now i know that AAA 1000 mAh and AAA 1300 mAh are not the same batteries...
Thus, they can both fit in my little walkman.....
Hi webhood

You're welcome...
The phone industry batteries are a different piece of cake compared to standard sized batteries for walkmen. Phone batteries have to be as small as possible and mAh means cubical centimeters.
Thus a higher battery capacity results in a bigger battery, thought you'd know that, sorry

"Alien Battery"

I just sourced a non-SonyEricsson battery for my phone.
It powers the phone fine but when the phone is plugged in for power charging I get an error message saying that the battery in the phone is "Alien" therefore it will not be charged.
I have to charge the battery through a separate charging box
I suppose there is no software fix for this ?
got this when i was using a k610i battery with my xperia but if i recall i restarted the phone and it started working but otherwise i dont know
why would you use a non-SE battery??
Is this it?

i bought three of them when i first got my xperia.
they were all complete crap.
They never gave accurate battery readings and their life time was very very short and at the end of it left my xperia not being able to turn on - now all 3 of them are so discharged i cant even be bothered to charge them - trust me dont rely on these batteries they are awful

Ever heard Made in Japan "Copy".
hehe.
well just be careful guys with the alien battery. most MADE IN CHINA batteries don't have promissed mAh at all. especialy when cheap. we have a meassuring device in work and evev the 3000something mAh isn't 3000 but just 2500. second, the cheap batteries don't have short circuit protection chip.. so just be careful. mugen may be good, but the 3000mAh they offer isn't simply 3000

Will this work with a UK touch 3g not from tmobile?

Innocell 2000mAh Extended Life Battery
if so, any idea how long such a battery would last compared to the standard battery?
yes, its a battery the network operator has nothing to do with compatibility of this

Very interested in these batterys.
Whats the warranty and how long would it take to ship to Aus?
If the picture's anything to go by, this guy's selling the OEM battery on eBay for under $20 including postage.
Doing a search on eBay for "HB4F1" (the battery code) yields many cheaper results, though their photos indicate that they're aftermarket rather than the original.
If you do decide to buy one, I'd suggest you refrain from leaving feedback until you've had a chance to test it for a few days to confirm that you're getting at least the same life as you got with your original battery.
Based on past experience (with other 'phones), you'll never get anywhere near the rated capacity with "no-name" (and in "no-name" I also include Mugen et al) batteries; they're really only good for emergency back-ups rather than replacing your existing battery. And you'll NEVER get more than the OEM battery's capacity, no matter what the aftermarket manufacturers tell you.

$99 is very pricy for a phone that costs ~$300. AND the the phone becomes bulkier, no thanks.
$99 for one battery? I prefer buy 3 or 4 standard bateries and swap when they gets empty lol
I would love to have one of these especially the 3600 mah
ive heard that 1800mah is something like failure or fake, it doesnt last that longer than the 1500mah one. also except that the 3600mah is soooo fat i think its really expensive also considering the fact that it might be used and of course not certified
I buyed two of this batteries. My batteries production date 1,5 year ago and it's lighter than orginal battery. These batteries are waiting for emergency call (if orginal batter empty in a emergency situation) I never charged them and i dont know performance. I am just tested them on my phone. They are %50 charged and phone can working with them.
Have they the same size as a normal one?
the site shows a big back cover.
Nope, they are fat fat that's why they had custom back cover.

Hi
I have found this battery on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GOLD-2430MAH-HB4F1-BUSINESS-BATTERY-HUAWEI-E5830-E5832-E5836-E5838-E5-ASCEND-/130576493812?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e66f72cf4 and from the description "seems" possible a good capacity. For me if the technology is always lipo is impossible a capacity of 2.4A with same battery size and weight, but 1.7~1.8 is credible if really the cell is Japan made.
Bye
Fabryxy
Edit: sorry but from the neutral feedback of the seller seems that many people have denote same\less capacity of stock battery.

see this
Made in Japan
2 year warranty
Ultra-high capacity battery
Maximizes time between charges
Delivers superior performance
Robust & durable battery
Direct battery replacement
Stable and safe to use
No "memory effect"
Lightweight lithium-ion
Capacity: 2430mAh
Well the original battery is a Lithium Polymer and NOT a Lithium Ion
so there is a difference between both off them
Pretty ****ty battery. Probaply not the battery what it says.
someone have tried one of these powerful battery like the 1700mah or 2430mah one?
