Oye paji great news! The manual has info about S Planner, Floating Video...
But i hope they don't remove the manual soon and extend the waiting time...(coz they did that in the Korean site)
After seeing this, I think it will be reasonable of Samsung to release the update by March beginning, not after that...

Tip-Off: ICS Upgrade for Indian Users

Just thought I should share this with you.
I cannot guarantee or verify the authenticity of this tip-off. Nevertheless, I have learnt from previously reliable sources (their news about SIII was correct ) that
Samsung will commence rolling out ICS upgrades to its Galaxy Note users in India, starting tomorrow i.e the 15th of May, 2012.
Update would be available via the official Samsung Kies application and is rumoured to be around 400MB.
Stay tuned for more!

Jellybean arrives in October CONFIRMED by Samsung

Samsung has finally confirmed the Android Jelly Bean update will be arriving on the Samsung Galaxy S3 at some point during October.
The manufacturer won't commit to a more concrete answer than that as it goes through the final stages of testing.
As always, the update will arrive on SIM free versions of the S3 before it heads to network-branded devices, which will come as very frustrating news to some.
If you haven't already bought your Samsung Galaxy S3, we would highly recommend waiting until it launches in all its 4G glory on Everything Everywhere (EE) later in the year, because that version will come with Android Jelly Bean 4.1 already installed.
The Android Jelly Bean update will make the Samsung Galaxy S3 run faster thanks to the Butter UI, add expandable notifications, Android Beam, offline voice dictation and Google Now.
The update has already been released for the Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7 and Motorola Xoom, but many are still waiting for it to hit on some of the best selling Android devices such as HTC's range and the Samsung Galaxy S2.
More than 500 million Android handsets are in circulation around the world, but most are still waiting for the latest update to arrive.

This has not confirmed anything
Samsung Sweden and Denmark have said October.... doesn't mean Samsung in other countries, namely BTU UK (what all the leaks have been) won't be in September.

Official Jelly Bean 4.1 Update in India Rolled Back

Samsung India has confirmed that the Jelly Beam update for Galaxy S III is no longer rolling out in India. The update reportedly contained bugs and was creating issues for those already updated, thus Samsung has stopped the update.
Company is currently looking into this and is likely to release a fixed update soon.

I'm starting to hate Samsung even more now. Wondering if purchasing the Galaxy S3 was a mistake and a big one at that, this being my first android phone. To anyone thinking about buying the Galaxy S3 or any other samsung device for that matter, please don't. Samsung's headed the Apple way, and we all know Apple sucks major d**k. Samsung also hasn't release the souce code for the Exynos, resulting in no stable aosp roms for the international version.

Exactly. While Samsung Exynos aren't as dev friendly as Qualcomm , etc, atleast they are way ahead of most other Manufacturers when it comes to updating our phones or atleast giving enough leaks.

So you're moaning because they pulled a defective update, and because of that you'll never buy a Samsung phone again? I think the sooner you do that the better for everyone.

Galaxy S II Jelly Bean OTA in February

If you own a Samsung Galaxy S II (S2) and have been getting green-eyed over the recently announced Jelly Bean-powered S2 Plus, don't fret. A Samsung spokesperson has just told us that Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) updates will be rolling out to current S2 owners in the beginning of February in Singapore.
The company's Korean Web site had previously posted details about the Jelly Bean update for the S2, but that image has since been pulled. However, Samsung fansite, SamMobile, managed to get a screengrab.
According to the update notes, you can expect to download it via Samsung Kies and not over-the-air (OTA). It will also take up 1GB of the 12GB of available internal memory, effectively decreasing it to 11GB. Some new features that will be added include Smart Stay, which keeps the display on by detecting when you're looking at the screen.
yesterdays news
getting a bit fed up of the "various sources" rumours though.
