question :flashing a radio

guys, need some help here.
when i used to flash a radio nothing changed on the phone.
the last couple of times my hd2 keeps auto hard resetting after flashing.
what could be the problem?
im flashing with leo customruu through active sync.
any help would be appreciated.

sounds like either radio missmatch or, if you have flashed a few roms, time for task29

Doesnt restart?

I've recently flashed a new rom and it was working fine until the first reboot of the first time. It freeze and stayed in the white background with HTC green icon screen. I tried to flash a different rom and it does the same thing. Does anyone what could be the problem?

You most probably didn't read the rom installation instructions properly and most probably have an incompatible radio for the rom you are using.

do you any solution to this? i tried to just flash the radio and it doesnt work(might be that i didnt do it properly). I've also tried task 29 and it's the same thing....please help

Task29 only impacts the rom, has no effect on the radio. How are you flashing the radio? Do you have hspl installed?

Android Keeps Crashing

Hello I'm new to this forum so please be kind,
My HTC HD2 keeps crashing no matter what I do.
I've changed the ROM three times and tried different radios, but the problem persists. I'm beginning to believe that my right hand will grow bigger than my left because I am constantly forced to replace the battery.

Can you explain what you mean by crashing? Also some other info wouldn't hurt.. When does it crash? Does it function correctly before crashing? And then the usual Rom (and rom type), Radio, HSPL?
If you're not sure about any of this you need to read the roll up sticky, and then this method never hurts:
- Backup everything (on SD and device)
- Task29
- Format SD card (Fat32)
- Download and flash official stock Rom for your Hd2 version (via active sync, not SD method)
- If you don't have hard-spl install that now.
- Update your radio to 2.15.50 if you haven't already.
- Then MAGLDR and CWM and all that good stuff if you're taking the NAND route.

Most of the crashes occur when I use an application that actively uses the GPS like google maps. Other times I will be web browsing and it will suddenly crash.
Yesterday, I've tried flashing different compatible roms and radios hoping to resolve the issue. I even used task 29 to wipe out my flash.
I'll reflash my android sometime during this weekend and see what'll happen.

I wonder if you have the robot audio issue also?
I experienced these exact same issues ( Android NAND build) up to few days ago with my "second hand Leo" from amazon ie bought on the 5th, Saturday February 2011

1. before you do anything as they say make sure that HSPL3 is installed... so as to avoid "bricking your phone"

and everything worked perfectly on the phone... no crashes, perfect audio, stable OS
4. If every thing is working now.... (I hate WM6.5) then proceed to go back to android ... I formatted my microSD card and loaded on

SUMMARY
1. FLASH HARDSPL ( To safeguard against or undo any errors that might occur, be it via human, hardware or software)
2. Upgrade to RADIO 2.15.50.40
3. Flash a WM6.5 rom ( check that audio is working )
4. Stay with your new stable WM6.5 or upgrade again to Android

[Q] 2.3.4 Wireless problem on NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V2.7_NAND

I've been searching for a solution to my problem for several days now but couldn't find anything.
This is the spec for my device:
HSPL: 2.08
Radio: Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14
Bootloader: MAGLDR 1.13
Recovery: ClockworkMod Recovery 3.0.2.4
I was using NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V2.6_NAND_(Android-2.3.3) rom from this page without any issues. I decided to update to NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V2.8 (2.3.4), no errors with update. After that, I realised that my internet connection was gone. I can see that it is connected to APN (H or 3G logo visible) but no connection. I tried to connect to wi-fi after that, but this time it is stuck saying 'turning on...' on wireless screen. I have tried updating to V2.9 (2.3.5) today but no joy. Same problems. Everything else seems to work fine. I read that there was a wireless related change after 2.3.4 but couldn't find anything related to this problem.
EDIT: I've also tried downgrading the radio to 2.14.50.02, still the same.
I'd really apreciate if someone can help me.

can you try a clean installation,i mean task 29,flash radio,flash mgldr, cwr partition,flash the rom. for instance i had market problem with tyween's typhoon rom and clean installation solved it

Thanks mate, that worked perfectly. For me the order was like this : task 29, flash radio, flash mgldr, flash ClockworkMod Recovery, flash the rom.

[12 sept] [Q] Camera not opening problem WinMo, Android, WP7 in HD2 TMOUS

Hi folks... Well, I have an HD2 TMOUS and everything used to work fine until I installed android on it in nand memory, camera didn't work. Ok, that's a common issue so I just installed the official ROM from T-Mobile but camera aplication did not launch camera it just did nothing.
Then I just tried installing WP7, I put HSPL 2.08, radio 2.15.50.14 and MAGLDR 1.13 and installed DFT WP7 build, but camera didn't work yet. When I pressed the camera choice it went kind to the camera but it went back instantaneously.
So I did task29 3 times, and tried reinstalling Android also from DFT team. When I try to launch the camera screen goes black and stays there until I press home button.
Now I just keep using Android with no camera =S ... Is there any solution to my problem?? Could it be a hardware issue??

Never mind... I had to open my HD2 and I noticed that camera had been installed wrongly after digitizer replacement. So I just got things straight and worked again. But i damaged buttons flex doing that... =(

Hy! I have the same problem with the same phone.
My friend...is his phone, told me that camera worked before to try to instal a nand version of android. I didn't test it, because I didn't thought is necesary.
Now I have problem with it, and I don't know how to resolv it. How did you do it exactly?
I installed WM 1.4, Task 29, HSPL 2.08, 2 android versions (spending a lot of time with it) and ather programs, that I saw in all tutorials, but nothing worked.
