Problems with AD Boot - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hi.
yesterday i installed Win7 finish on my device. I used the youtube tutorial to make my SD Card dual-boot ready. Win7 runs perfect. But android dont want to start. I tried this one (american android) and the one from this video (YT) but I only see the bootscreen. And nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong?
The Native-SD solution doesnt work for me. I want an SD - Only Android Image. (But I only found Android 2.xx, not Android4)

hd2 doesnt connect to pc, not in bootlader, android doesnt start but chukyrom works??

ive got a sd problem. i ever used the same 16gb class2 microsd card tu run android builds and store winmo and android data. last night ive tried to switch from darkstone to matcc android build. i reformatted the sd card, put the files on it (only android folder nothing else) and started android. everything was fine but i´ve got a bsod(radio 2.12.50_2 and german stock vodafone rom). then ive tried another android build but i got the same error(doesnt ever got bsod before). later android didn start at all(every build). then ive tried chuckys rom with matcc vers. 1.5 and ive got the bsod problem again. tried 2 other builds and now andriod doesnt start and i cant even connect my hd2 to my pc(bootloader doesnt connect too) but chucky rom boots correctly. everytime ive tried another build i reformatted my sd card to fat32. hope someone can help me, sorry for bad english.
I find the boot loaded doesnt always work so you have to run clraret and then haret manually.

Please help android boot problem

PLease help... My phone was running android fine until one day it ran out of battery
and after that the rom was a fail. I installed a new rom and it said my sd card was damaged, so i formatted it. I then again installed another android build and when i went to run clrcad it said this is not a pocket pc application... My dual boot option window is now gone too.. I am running a very basic form of windows that does not sync or do anything. Can I just reset my phone and do it from scratch? If so plz point me in the way of a thread.

[Q] WP7, AND-SD, magldr 1.12 sd boot fail

I've followed the dual boot tut and wp7 is working fine, I marked the wp7 partition as primary. I used services to point to android build dir, Im using Copes build which i read works with magldr without any modification. My issue is that when I choose to boot ad sd from magldr i get to GO GO GO! and it just sits there... I let it go for 30 mins.
I thought maybe i needed to add a data.img to it so i dl'd a 1gb data.img and placed it in the android root... still no luck.
inside copes build was a folder that said magldr with instructions to swap out the startup and the rootfs.img.... no go still stuck at GO GO GO!
WTH am i doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated... wp7 boots fine off the nand, just cant get into droid....
EDIT:recopied copes droid/cynogen build back to sd left the 1gb data.img which was fresh on there and got past the GO GO GO! but now im stuck at the HTC logo for 30 mins and no signs of life...
oh and i reverted from 2.15 to 2.12 radio because of reported longer battery life, as far as ive read this is compatible with copes build. Any ideas why im stuck at the htc splash?
Bump!
I got passed the htc logo and I get passed cm7 splash but the phone freezes at the setup wizard... sometimes I get passed being asked to complete action using com.android.provision or Setup wizard, but it will quickly freeze. touchscreen is non responsive and i have to pull the battery.
Ive reformatted several times and recopied the build no luck do you think if i change the data.img from 1gb to a lower size it will not freeze? has anyone had this issue before?
I tried to do the same thing you did and I gave up. I was using Darkstone's super ram build and WP7 works perfectly on NAND but it will no boot android. Sorry I can be no help. Just to let you know that Super ram froyo is having the same issues if you chose to do another build.
i finally got the gingerbread/cm7 from cope working! I had to swap out the startup txt and the root file from the the magldr folder. the first time i tried this it didnt work because I believe there was a corrupted file from copying the droid build to the sd using magldr's 4. Usb mass storage option.
I Got gingerbread/cm7 working and installed but I cannot use the marketlace to dl apps I get a message saying your application will be downloaded... or something of that nature. When I go to my apps and try to manually install them they kick to the top and never start. They quickly drop back down to the list of apps with an uninstalled status.
I have the apn setup and im connected to wifi. Im once again at a loss....
there is a thread on here that will tell you how to mount your img and edit a string to allow darkstone to work! search in android developement for booting android with magldr...

do you use winmo, and which rom do you want to flash, and what steps do you make?
Yes, i am using a winmo, HTC HD2
i tried many roms, and i am talking about the ROM, not android.
and on each ROM i tried to load different Android, but it still
do not work.........stuck on a screen every time
Basically i use "energy rom", http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591784
and tried with American Android ((( this one worked on a first sd -card)))
steps from a beginning : i flash rom on my phone, after hard reset, i flash it from my PC. then i copy the "Android" folder on sd card of my phone, then with "file explorer" i enter the "android" file ((for example - AMERICAN ANDROID)) , i choose CLRCAD, (nothing happens) and then i choose the HARET and loading begins. after that just a screen with HTC logo, a black one. i waited for 20 min, and more - nothing changes. (( tried to reset and load again, same screen, no progress....))
i just have no idea what else to do....
been searching for solution for few days now.
some say that updating the rom helps, but done that.
When i were using winmo i were formatting my sd on such a case. If it doesn't work i was formatting winmo too.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA Premium App
ye....... the problem is that i done that all.........
just weird.

for example - AMERICAN ANDROID....i take it from your writing.you must put the folder Android to sd card not american android folder. i mean
sd card/android/clrcad then haret. not sd card/american android/android/clrcad
of course, i understand it.
i read manual for 100 times now, just to be sure i am doing things right.
i know the basics.
so lets see :
format to phone and sd card - checked
updated rom - checked
different sd card - checked
different rom with different android - checked
if i think about it know - phone is not working that's why i can't install android.
but - every rom is working good and android did worked once on a old sd card.
so have no idea what to do next.
at first i wanted to copy files from sd card where Android did worked, so there were file named "data.img" , couldn't copy it. don't know why.
so, in order for android to work on a phone now , it must create same file now. maybe card is somehow protected and doesn't allow phone to do it................. but i can copy all other stuff on it.
my knowledge and fantasy just ends here, but it kills me that such a simple thing doesn't work.
and if it doesn't work on an old card either, so can't figure out what causing this problem.
i can lastly say: download a new copy of american android.wipe everything from your sd.unrar american android in your pc.find the android folder.copy android folder to your sd via usb or card reader.clrcad then haret. the rom creates a new data.img in first boot.this rom may take half an hour to load. because i use it also. sorry if i'm unable to help
i had the same problem installing AmeriCanAndroid. it seemed like you did everything right from what i could tell anyway. i would try a different sd build to see if thats the problem.

what about you? did it help, switching sd card?
been trying now different Android, same thing.
@angel182
At the time i was a bit of a noob still am really but when i installed a new sd build i think it solved my problem. if i remember correctly i may have even tried a different winmo rom (omega) which may have helped as well. i really cant be to sure because its been some time now & my memory aint what it use to. lol.
I will say that if you ever want to go to a nand version and dont like it for what ever reason you can always switch back. I'm sorry I couldnt of been more help.

Need some help with installing android on SD card.

See attached photo.
WM 6 is working great. I have the SD card correctly formatted to FAT32 and EXT4, but after launching HARET from 4EXTRecovery folder, it launches but there's few errors and it won't let me install Android because of those errors. Can you help me please?
I've spent many hours on forums and can't find any solution. Thank you
What have you all tried so far on trying to get it to work?

I tried different SD cards...And I tried different versions of the Mini formatting toolfor windows. In the End I gave up. But today I decided to try WP7 installed on NAND. But didn't like it. It wouldn't even connect to my wifi. Just kept asking for a password.
So after that I decided to try Android again, but install it to NAND. I used HTC HD Tool and installed "NexusHD2-KitKat-CM11.0_V4.7.zip". Installation went without problems. After the install it rebooted and now it's stuck on black screen with green HTC logo. It's been about 20 minuted already.... Will wait a bit more and see. If it doesn't work, I would like to try another Android rom installed to NAND. Is there any newer than "NexusHD2-KitKat-CM11.0_V4.7.zip", with everything working? Or should I jsut go back to WM 6.5? Thank you
Whats the advantage of SD Card over NAND? Is it just about useable space?
Not here to help but nice to see yours actually working, mine is just a fancy paperweight rn
