Not sure how this is possible, but it looks like it had fully charged then started draining even while still plugged in.

Oh, and I am running stock 4.2.1.
I had it plugged in to the wall outlet using the stock charger.

Stock charger appears to be garbage! I had the same thing happening to me, also a few other people here on XDA had that problem! Use different charger! Starting yesterday I`m using my good old G2X charger....
Will be there any issues with voltage/current rating if I use a different charger other than stock? I still have my old MyTouch 4G charger that I can try.

So the USB port on my wife's Evo is not working anymore. She unplugged the USB cable and it came loose. I took it to a sprint repair center and they told me they couldn't fix it because it was detached from the main board. Does anyone know of any other way to be able to charge the battery? I looked into the powermat but I believe u still have to plug something into the USB port.

EBAY cheap
This one will take a while to charge the battery.. Only 300-400 mA on the battery port itself. Strangely, it puts out greater current via the usb port.

I've been using an external battery charger for a couple weeks now and its awesome. You have to be okay with taking the back off and swapping the batteries but I feel like I get a better charge on the external charger. Found mine on ebay for 25 bucks I think. Also came with two batteries. They aren't high class seidos or anything like that but the phone still does what I want it to.

My usb port is very loose too, so I bought an external charger from amazon for about $18. It works like a charm. One drawback is that you have to run your battery completely dead to get a full/long lasting battery before you put it on the charger.

Sadly, the device doesn't recognise anything I try to plug it in with. I installed Stickmount, didn't help. The same happens on my phone.
Any suggestions?
Pins 4 and 5 need to be shorted for Otg to work. That one is not compatible with our device.

If both your tablet and phone cannot recognize anything when plugged in, than it's most likely something to do with your cable.
Also, I know you say it's an OTG adapater, but the photo looks like it could just be an adapter. There is a difference between an OTG cable and a micro USB to USB adapter. I tried searching for the Delock 65296 but I could not get anything in English. From the looks of it, though, that might just be an adapater.

Hello guys,
I have a weird problem with me device, it does not charge with the wall adapter (rated 0.7A) and rather discharges while showing the lightning bolt charging icon. Right now, I am trying to charge it with USB port with some success. It is very slow though.

A couple of hours ago, my battery had dropped to 1%. I plugged in the charger, and I tried to switch on the device (which I usually do, and it has worked with no issues until now) so I could use it simultaneously. The device started and turned off, and refused to accept and recognize the wall charger. After trying all sorts of things, I plugged it into my laptop's USB port and it finally started charging. I charged upto 3% with USB and then tried switching to wall charger, it didn't work. SO right now I'm charging the device with USB and it has reached up to 18%. The charger still doesn't work. Any idea what's gone wrong with the wall charger?
Please help me out.
Try to charge with a 2A charger.

where are those who got the usb 2.0 located in the world?
----------
to be honest, i hate the usb 3.0 plug..it has 2 prongs and is annoying to plug in....so i went back to using my usb 2.0
Morocco, we got 6 months screen warranty and a 16gb SD card, and USB 2
We didn't get any SD cards in the USA
