Hey im wonedering if we can have on g3 other os like bada or wm(windows mobile).i heard that for wm 6.5 u need 400mhz procesor and 128ram.so is it posible to run it?

It's a question of drivers / radio ROM
btw. nowadays Android is the best so why to use something worse I have an old HTC with win mobile - but I do not use it since I have android

If there is a similiar device like Galaxy 3 with WM6.5.3 (with same hardware) then the portation is possible. Like betweend HTC HD2 and HTC desire it's possible, because the hardware and drivers are almost the same - so there is this option to port the OS. But it's still not working for 100%.
Just imagine to work on windows mobile without arrows for an example.
What do I miss on my android is just IGO 8. and better exchange sync support.
But for an example I do not see a reason to import BADA.

[Q] Windows CE 6.0 Upgrade

Hello guys,
I recently bought a device named "Zune HD", a windows CE based pda/media player made by Microsoft. Looks like a WP7.
The windows CE version is 6.0, and I want to upgrade it to WinCE 6.0 R3 .
Its now that I need help:
-What I have to download first?
-Will it destroy my Zune if I upgrade to R3?
-Am I able to do this or it won't work anyway?
-A little step-by-step tutorial should be nice
Tech specs of the Zune HD (If it helps):
Memory: 128MB Hynix SDRAM
Disk space: 16 GB (12 avaible)
GPU: NVIDIA Tegra APX 2600 (HD)
CPU: NVIDIA Tegra APX 2600 with on ARM11 and one ARM7 general processing cores -> 800MHZ I think
Screen: 480X272 OR 3.3 inches OLED screen

But this is not a blabla topic, anybody has a real answer???

First, you'd need the original BSP for this.
Second, you'd need to get CE6R3 full package (although the open one for download might work too, if you'd have the rest of the files).
Third, access to bootloader to flash it.
Simply said, not gonna happen, unless MS does it themselves (which I doubt).

Its about a android tablet ( not anymore )
I found on a other forum how to instal Windows Ce 6.0 on my Polaroid mpc700G 7" tablet.
It works like a charm and seems stable.
But no touchscreen.
Wel it is not that strange because this edition of Ce comes from a netbook,
and they don't need a touch.
Q, has someone by accident some drivers for that, or a other solution fore this problem?
Or has someone a complete firmware/rom of this.
Also need a driver for a 3070 Chipset for the wifi.

i'm a litle bit lost and i need help

Hello,
I just bought my htc x7500 two days ago and i want do improve the mobile. I'm very very very lost in this battle field .
I want this more actualized because i have windows mobile 6 Professional, SO 5.2.1.... and i thought that i could do a upgrade to the 6.5 windows mobile but i don't know if the mobile phone can run this firmware.
I was reading in this forum and i'm confused if i have to do a ROM upgrade or if i have to install a better windows only, or do the two things.

You got to start from Black Touch v2.0 or/and Black Dual v3.0 witch these are 1.2 then if you want to get to 3.5 you got to continue from black dual 3.0 to AP Platinum 4.0 then you are on your own.but if you want to downgrade it to factory again you got to use the SPLDowngrader.. contact me if you are having more problems!!!!.

Speed: 1024 MHz
Ram: 448 MB.
Flash Memory: 512 MB.
Data Bus: 32 bits
OS: 5.2.21913.
Manila: 2.5.20181527.0
Rom: 3.14.707.3 WWE
Radio: 2.15.50.14
Protocol: 15.42.50.11U
i want to install Android 4.x.
i tried these 3 Methods but Failed

3-HD2 Android ROM NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich Beta1(Android 4.0.1) (AOSP ICS ROM for HD2)

Not sure if it helps, but this is only a guide "how to", you'll need to find rom you want to install yourself.
Look through whole thing before starting. Worked for me.

which installationmethod do you prefer? nand, nativeSD or the SD method?
if you want the SD method read the installation instruction of the rom cause you are not installing all the same way. extract the rom to the root of your sd card, tap clrcad and than haret.

please do more search you will get it.

You need a few tools, I recommend using the tutorial on youtube from Juicy Boose

What exactly is your question though? If you want to know how to flash a ROM, see the guide in my sig. If you want to know which ROM to flash, then nobody can help you because there's no best ROM as such.
