While the official Android Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S II has been reportedly pushed out to devices in Spain, there is no word on the similar refresh for the original Galaxy Note, the GT-N7000. The last time we heard about the update was the occasion when we learned, back in December, that it was postponed to 2013.
The start of the actual roll-out process might not be that far off as the UK version of Samsung’s website has been updated with new information. The support page for the Galaxy Note GT-N7000 now features a new user manual, dated January 25, 2013, which also contains reference to “JellyBean”. Apparently it is an updated version of the manual edited so that it now reflects the changes which will be introduced by the official refresh (including Google Now).

Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean updates reportedly delayed
The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 is apparently delayed according to a publication.
Sam Mobile posted on Twitter a short message to advise that the update has been delayed, with the “new TW [TouchWiz]” apparently being to blame:

The news isn’t confirmed at this time, but the publication has provided accurate information on Samsung products and related software updates so far.
We have no idea what issues may have delayed the Android 4.2.2 update, as the publication doesn’t mention them at this time. While the updates for the two 2012 flagship handsets have been delayed, it's not like we had clear release dates for them before.
Many Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 versions are currently running Android 4.1.2, so at least most users are officially on a Jelly Bean version while the wait for the latest software version to be released.

We do have a few threads where this could have gone in, instead of being a completely new thread.

Engadget China is reporting that the Chinese version is receiving the 4.2.2 update and that it gets rid of the menu bar and add battery percentage as we already knew. Here's hoping the unlocked versions will be getting the update very soon now.
Apologies to the non-Chinese readers,

HTC One GPedition ?
when does arrive the update for GPE ?
Everyone was expecting this, Official Update released for Samsung Galaxy Note 2:
2015 July Italy 4.4.2 N7100XXUFOE1 N7100ITVFOF1
But this is not Lollipop but kitkat, adding few new apps and some stability corrections and security issues, nothing else.
Edit
Apparently they updated some of the based Google apps to the latest ones, here what a user says:
- Installed from Odin, after a fullwipe, they updated every Google app to the latest versions (those of the previous firmware were in fact older more than one year), and they added applications Samsung Music, Expo 2015 and mySamsung.
For the rest I give it a quick look, but I think it is the same one, there are probably bug fixes and improvements in performance, but I will talk about in a few days, once tested for real

Thanks! :good:
Hey,
That's my first post, so I'm hoping I'm not breaking any rules.
I am wondering if the Note 3 (specifically N9005) will receive anymore updates? (i.e 5.1.1, 6.0)
Thanks a lot,
Security updates maybe but update for 6.0 is not most likely gonna happen anymore.
Only Samsung know that answer.
Will XDA devs update probably as long as possible . Marshmallow available in development roms .
For reference questions go in Q&A section and search first is the rule .
Major updates (5.1, 6.0) officially - no.
Unofficially (custom ROMs) - already available.
Minor updates (security updates and maybe few tweaks here and there) - Some were released just few days ago, but for how long, no one knows.
Thanks for all your helpful replies!
i don't think so

No marshmallow for Note 3. This is how I remind how Samsung are stupid, because MM ROM work so great.
indeed,mm is running perfectly on the note 3,only NFC isnt present....
From Samsung we have no upgrades or updates to expect, very pitty, makes me a little angry!!
This is why my next phone won't be from Samsung. There is no other reason for not receiving mm than planned obsolescence
