Remove google services account without factory reset? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a way to remove google services account without factory reset?
I remember being able to do this by removing /data/system/accounts.db file in CM7.
In JB this file is in /data/system/users/0/accounts.db, but removing does not reset google services account.
I have removed all Google accounts from Settings->Accounts tried clearing app data for various google apps, removed accounts.db but still I have blue bars whn phone connects to internet.
Any idea where the account information to connect to google services is stored?

Change google account without hard reset

Has anyone done this on a legend before? I've been googling and reading all the different ways but none of them seem to work on the legend.
Already tried clearing gmail cache. Google apps wont let me clear it's cache. There's no data.img that I can see on my SD card/I can't remove my google account from "Accounts & Sync" and I can't just add a new google account, I get a "Cannot establish a reliable connection the server" error, even on wifi.
Just migrated all my google account onto my google apps account and of all things to not work my android is the last thing.
EDIT: btw it's NOT rooted so DB hack wont work.

programs trying to authenticate google acct cause soft boot?

I had a little bit of a borking on my phone the other day (after learning i SHOULDNT try to mess with the pulldown text via root tools... oops), ended up resetting it with a SBF file, then restoring the most recent backup i had.
However, when certain programs (google voice, google cloud print) try to authenticate using my google account credentials (black and orange screen asking permission) if i choose allow OR deny, it causes a soft boot.
The market, google TALK (not voice), and gmail all work correctly, so i'm certain the account credentials are saved properly, but I cant get GV or cloud print to work... and both of those are kind of important to me.
Any suggestions before i just say "eff this phone" and completely factory reset it again, and start fresh?

[Q] How to change google account?

I just rooted and installed the market, however I setup the wrong account - how do I change the account? Do I need to remove the market or google framework?
...
try clearing the cache and data or logout of gmail if you have setup one, or rerun the wizard which runs when you firstly install gapps. I have done it before but i really don't remember how

change account
You can change your account info from the settings. Go to setting and go to the accounts add the correct account and then remove the account that you no longer need. At that point you may want to clear the cache and data from the market app in your manage applications settings.
settings and accounts from the market? I know most android devices it's under the main settings, but not the fire. I haven't setup gmail yet, I need the account for the whole device.
The easiest way to change accounts is to go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Gmail and clear all data. I also did it for gTalk and all other Google related apps. This created a notification that I needed to redo the setup wizard with a link in the notification to start it. This fixed everything and didn't have to worry about a hard-reset.
Worked on my old Desire
Sent from my MIUI.us Sensation 4G using XDA App
No settings in the market, or in the main settings (like other android devices). So if install gmail, that should let me delete the account? I'm wondering if un-installing google framework might do it?
Got it to reset by uninstalling google framework and the market, then re-installing.

[Q] Contact unable to sync with Google

Anyone has any issue with Google Contact Sync? It says "sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly".
Several methods I've tried before:
1. Delete the Google account and add again
2. Clear data from "Contacts Storage"
3. Enable all google related services that I have disabled before (Google Newstand, Google Book and etc)
It seems that I can only download the contacts the first time I add the account, but any edit I make on the phone won't sync back to Google.
Can't find any other new method from Google result...

Click to collapse
Go to contacts (not with phone but contact app) go to settings then account and see if Google is there
Yes it is there, along with other stuff like Whatsapp, Samsung, Facebook etc. I have tried removing Google, re-add again, and then tweak one contact on my phone, and then go back to the setting > account > google to check, and there it is, "sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly" on the Contact part..
I was wondering if you got anywhere on this when you had the issue? I am having a similar problem.
