R: Free 50gb MEDIAFIRE
I always wonder what happens of my files once all these time-limited offers of space reach their end. Pay money, I bet.

Everything in Dropbox will remain intact.
You can do everything with it, except upload, because you are over your limit.
So, you can start uploading (part of sync that uploads to Dropbox also counts as upload) when you are under 100% of your limit.
So, this at least works great.
For all others I don't know.
I'll try this MediaFire. Might be good for music.

maybe good for devs to upload their mod... but doesnt mean much to normal users...

LOL
now we have 105GB free cloud storage
dropbox + mediafire + Gdrive

Nice find... thanks for sharing
Side note fyi... max file size per upload is 100mb unless you pay to upgrade. Still worth the free account, just thought I'd share!

If you guys didn't know the app and website MINUS also offers i think 50gig for free, and it adds on if you refer people.
I don't really need it but it's nice to have

just outta curiosity whats the point if you cant upload files larger than 25 mb ?
I have like 3 accounts for box. The first I got was from a company. One of the employees gave me a share. The other two were from the iphone promotion. Now this Haha. You say it's Pointless

The down side is the size limit/upload per day/no desktop sync without buying the enterprise app.
But 50gb is 50gb!

Samsung Galaxy S3 Dropbox offer

On the lines of the HTC One, the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be offering 50GB of dropbox storage for a period of 2 years.
Not bad if you do decide to go in for the S3.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Dropbox Offer
just another worthless sell argument...
you can't stream music or videos so what is 50gb worth for a phone then?
it's only for 2 years
and it was mentioned in the original samsung press release

I stream music and movies from DropBox too
BUT, I do kinda agree that it's a worthless sell since the space is taken back in two years. I'd rather they just give us, say, 10GB... and make it permanent. 10 on top of the free 13 I already have would be a nice cloud storage.

I'll probably just stick with the 50GB free for life at Box courtesy of HP when I got my (cheap) TouchPad
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Suppose it's nice to have it but not a deal breaker for me. At least there's an sd slot so you can add extra storage unlike HTC's offering.

Yeah I have the free 50 from Box too... big deal... They give so much space free because the service sucks compared to Dropbox. Doesn't even have an auto upload feature. Oh, and I didn't even have to buy a cheap TouchPad to get the free 50.…they gave it to everyone and anyone who signed up awhile back.

Yeah but it's free for life so I'm not going to complain. Plus you never know it might improve anyway. Would be nice to know in advance what the Dropbox charges would be after the 2 years (do we get a special deal after that?)
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Too bad it's two years only...
That's sounds like a "1 year free Norton antivirus" installed on your laptop when you buy it.
(OK to be honnest I prefer the dropbox offer
Also i have the feeling i will need the droppbox content when i don't have 3G connection.
If i buy a S3, i'll buy a 32Gb/64Gb microSD and won't use this "cloud" storage. So not a sell argument for me.

Yes but I think most people would change their phones in less than 2yrs, I had this galaxy s2 for less than a year now and I feel like buying an S3 so emmm I think 2yrs is enough, okaay its a bit little but does the whole 50GB go or they reduce it to the free storage ? and besides not many people will store many data because most is personal people will store for sharing mods and apps so u dnt need 50GB

heheheh well they say each account is linked to one SG3 :/, which seems a bit weird *-) like If I flash my SG3 it may not be recognised, or maybe its like once u get one u cant get another account , So lets say I flash my phone with another rom so my Android ID changes and it wld think that its another phone so maybe u can get many accounts .

emmm yes because they cant afford giving many accounts means they wld loose their buisness , try to get the account creditials from him or contact then for lost password if u have the user name atleast .

48GB for 24mo. on Dropbox for stock JB All Share storage sync

The new all share app in stock JB rom has option to sync your account with an online storage. use that to sync with your drop box account you will be giving 48GB for 24month. Here is the mail i got from dropbox after sync up. Took 4hr for the email to pop in my mail box.
I am on stock JB rom, don't have the time to mess around right now, but if some one can extract that out and post it somewhere, maybe people can use it on other roms too. Worked on my leaked JB GNote one too.
Here is the email i got
Hi xxxx,
Congrats on becoming a Dropbox Guru! We've awarded you 48 GB of bonus space for the next 24 months! You now have 55.88 GB on Dropbox. To get even more space, check out our upgrade options.
Thanks again for supercharging your Samsung device with Dropbox!
Enjoy,
- The Dropbox Team

Are you sure about this since I was also wondering. Do they have a link somewhere where one could get clarity. I have over 50Gb of space by now and don't want to start relying on it only to get a big surprise in 2 yrs time where I have to pay a fortune to keep on having access to my files.

Trust me on this. Make an account (you'll need it) and with a password you've never used before. PM me the username and pass. I'll make it 50gb for you. The 50gb thing only works or a kind of 'coworkers' promotion thing offered by box. I know it sounds like i'm gonna steal the account, but you can make an account with one of those minute emails and a fake password, but it won't be of much use to you(minute email's inboxes empty themselves after a while).
I went for the promotion but no luck,I don't show any new storage on my account. Any pointers?
