hello,
i have 2 mobile phones, a Blackberry bold 9780 (broken lcd connector...) and a samsung galaxy y.
now i got the idea to flash my samsung to blackberry os. (i can't figure out how to get peace with android...)
but is it even possible? i know they both have an ARM cpu, but that's it for all i know.
and if it's possible, how i can get the ROM.
can anybody help me out?

You want to flash blackberry os to galaxy y?
If so.. then you shouldn't be wondering about rom.. you would need to wipe out whole phone with it blackberry os....
That's not yet possible.. that is.. no one was able to do it..
Also, android os is better than blackberry os.. with range of customization ability at your finger tips..

well that's easy, i can't get any feeling from android, everything is different, and it just doesn't feel good,
i know there are more possibility's with apps and everything, but the apps i need to make it my phone aren't there..
but as you said it's not (yet) possible to remove gingerbread and replace it with bb os6?

i don't want android on my bb but bb os6 on my samsung
Come on man what do u need to make it your phone come on call some names and ill point u in the right direction cuz blackberry is dieing they have there last shot with OS 10 but it's getting lost in a hail storm of new oses so what do u want that u think Android doesn't have

i'll tell you
music is very important for me, but on android i can't filter on artist or genre, or make playlists and add whole albums etc to it.
and it's kinda annoying to search to a song you forgot the title of in 3800 songs.. and if i make a .m3u playlist at my pc my phone 9/10 times only sees 90% of them.. i searched for a nice media player but i can't find any wich makes that possible..
Awesome media player lite came close but it just wasn't what i really need.

Poweramp does what u said and recognition of formats varies from phone to phone but this app is great I don't know about m3u though but try it

I have a friend who has been quite involved in porting Android to the iPhone. For the most part it's fully functional. A few drivers aren't properly syncing right, Dual booting is fully enabled for both the 2g and 3g versions of the iPhone. If I ever had a tremendious catastrophy happen and I was unable to get hold of a HTC device I guess I'd try it
Is there any "Google Now" tweak or port available for Galaxy Y???

as far as i know its for jb roms.. devs port it on ics with many trouble.. so i dont think that its imposible to port on GB roms

there are substitute apps available for that i guess ...i think weather and news and all stuff .

no there isn't 1 and I doubt there'll ever b 1 cuz as the guy higher up said there have been able to port it with problems to ics devices

All the subs dont match the original... and another thing, you have to use 3 to 4 apps for the same functions of Google Now and still not all the functions available...
Hi. it is possible to flash galaxy y rom on galaxy pocket? LOL i bought galaxy pocket but i dissapointed on ROM developers unlike galaxy y. never thought lots of custom roms for this and i was expecting also for pocket but its not.

It won't work as both phones uses different drivers, thus your phone won't even pass the boot xD
u can boot it if one dev ported it to ur device ^^

no buddy the sgy roms wont work for other phones not even for sgyd!!!!!!!!!
As the title says can I use the kernels and roms for my galaxy duos lite/pocket duos
They have got the same screen resolution and processor speed which I think also indicates that they have got the same processor?
Any help will be appreciated

No you cant, flashing a kernel from other phone will get your phone hardbricked.

See my sig click on HERE the reason that's happening is because your ram us overloaded I dont get that problem that tread will fix that along with other problems
