Hi All, since I am not allowed to post in the Parnoidandroid Thread yet (need 10 posts), I guess I have to ask this question here.
I am running PA on my N10 and was wondering if it is possible to have the Nav Bar/Status Bar on top of the screen while in Tablet Mode as opposed to the bottom? I'd love to have my nav keys at the top left.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.
Any thoughts on this?

Hi,
today I was trying out some navigation with my phone. All worked fine, at least for the navigation part. Having the phone in portrait mode, the status bar is on the top. But if you turn into landscape, the status bar turns too. Beeing in landscape mode and having the status bar on top, it "steals" a lot of space.
So I was wondering, if there is an app that can controll the position of the status bar depending on the screen orientation. 2 hours of fruitless googling made me open this thread.
The Homescreen Replacement "LauncherPro" is able to hide the status bar, what brings a lot of space. But if you want the information from the status bar at your fingertips, you have to disclaim that space. If the status bar would be on the left or right side on the screen, you have both, space and information.
I hope everybody understands, what I'd tried to describe.
I just had the idea and I wanted to share. I don't need the application necessarily. I just thought it would be a nice thing to have on our phones.
So if someone wants to "steal" my idea, you are welcome. Charge money for it or don't. I don't care.

Excuse my poor English!
I've been wandering around the site for a couple days now, but I've been wondering if there's a way to hide the bottom bar on my HTC Touch.
The bottom of my N7 screen cracked but the device is still very usable. The bottom half inch will not respond to touch, but everything above that point works just fine! I'm hoping for a way to expand my navigation bar size, or bump it up to leave my screen blank under it.. Any help will be greatly appreciated and I have some $ in PayPal as a thanks. Any help as in a ROM that allows a Nav Bar Resize.. A way to move it to the top of my tablet screen... Some way I can put a google search bar under it or anything to waste that space. Thanks for ideas, hoping to save my N7 and keep it usable without having to rotate it everytime I need that portion of my screen!

I could have sworn I've seen navbar mods somewhere. You could always consider using PIE controls, however, if you want to remap them to the left/right screen edges.
Thanks for the quick reply. Pie Controls is a very useful work around for now. The app would be amazing if it let me choose exactly where on the screen I could pull up the navigation bar, but even without that option it is a great help!
I've seen some Mods but all of them seem to shrink the Bar, not enlarge it.
The reason I want to extend the stock navigation bar isn't just to be able to touch the buttons but it also pushes all opened apps, my home screen, etc up past that point that is cracked... So while playing a game or in my options menus I would still be able touch the bottom of my screen, just above the navigation bar (which I can't do now.) Basically, the top of the Bar is the bottom of my touch screen and it isn't high enough for me to use the entire screen =(

LMT Launcher is a pie control interface. It allows you to open from anywhere on the left or right and you can setup gestures as well with it to do the navbar functions. Look it up here on xda.

Hi Everyone.
I'm new in this forum, and also new to android society so my questions might sound noobish and unnecessary.
I've installed CM11 4.4.4 on my GS4 I9505, and I was wondering if it's possible to flip the quick toogle buttons like in Slimsaberkat rom. What I mean is when you have pulled down the notification panel, instead of pressing the upper right icon to enter the Quick toggle page, you just swipe the notification panel to either left or right to enter Quick toggle page.
The last question is, the stock kernel on CM11 is it possible to download as a standalone, because CM11 is the only rom/kernel that has given my GS4 I9505 5 hours screen time and last 19 hours totally. I've tried many roms before CM11 and many different kernel ( alu/Ktoonez/googymax) and the one on CM11 is the one that I find best.
I apologize for bad grammars and misspelling.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

Can't you already swipe to the side on the bottom of the notification drawer after you've opened it? On the bottom line? Pretty sure that used to work when I was running CM (on stock atm so I can't check)

Thanks alot for the answer, unfortunately I just send the phone to servicecenter due to a broken proximity sensor. I'll check it out when it comes back.
Guys help me plz noob here...
My nexus 7 screen is broken from one corner . And I want to use it without the need to rotate every time. Fixing the rotation such that the broken part is on top left side of screen seems to be the best option but then I am unable to use the top status bar which is used for notifications. So is there a way that the top left notification status bar be shifted to other position or is it possible to get a different status bar which is single(like smartphones)??My device is rooted and curently running on CM 10.2.1 tilipia.
Guys please do tell me if there is another way to deal with the problem of partly broken screen like a custom ROM
