For removing..use droidsail super app remover or link2sd..
Sent from my Galaxy Y GT-S5360. Press thanks if I helped you.

To speed up ur stock rom..best way is to clear cache nd dalvik cache....or moving apps to sd card or using tweaks nd custom kernel..
** rooting is new for me,
nd i am a noob to root....**

For ICS : have Cyanogen mod 9 by Whitexp
For up your CPU speed change stock kernel and install Meruck kernel.

*remove stock rom
*put jellyblast v3.0.3(looks like jelly bean/ics) or wait
*install advanced task killer (kills unwanted backgroung apps running)
*put it to auto kill level crazy and kill when screen off(saves battery) and unselect apps like ur launcher, dsp manager, advanced task killer itself etc from kill list
*convert frequently used apps like ur launcher etc etc to system app using link to sd or system app replacer
* uninstall unwanted applications like social hub news and wether etc ( u can replace them with better apps) using link to sd
* caution do not uninstall apps whose use do do not know
*avoid using launchers which say ex
*avold live wallpappers
*when u use ur phone for a long time hold it in such a way that heat from battery can escape
* and oh hit thanks if i helped
all these are my personal openions and are usually what i do

Don't use task killers they are useless and end up making u use more battery in the process since the killed apps just come back (on gingerbread or higher) only to be killed again also if the app has to connect to the internet (apps like whatapp Facebook etc) its even worst since they get disconnected in a burst of power and reconnects in a burst of power and this keeps happening over over there are other problems I could point out but by now u see what I'm saying don't use them their a waste of time to gingerbread and over users

Task killers themselves uses a lot of battery and ram

[Q] How to transfer /data/data to sd ext?

How to transfer data/data to sd-ext?
cause my internal memory is getting low. haha
any tried using directory bind? but i think it will not solve the problem, cause it only transfer from internal SD to external SD
how about titanium backup pro?
the data2sd feature " move app data to sd "
i tried it, i creat a folder "app" on /sd-ext, and tried move app data to SD, but it shows "not enough space on filesystem at: /sd-ext"
i have an ext4 partition on my SD card, i also have Link2SD, does it makes the conflict?
In links2sd just click on an app and tap create link

use link2sd
But it does not transfer all data of an app, for example the game dungeon & knight plus, it extracts an almost 70MB on /data/data it, Link2SD was not able transfer it to sd-ext

I'm in Merruk Kernel 2.0, it supports ext4 format. I have 2 partitions, FAT32 and ext4, and also i can use link to SD properly, all my apps are linked. I just want to transfer/link the data of the other remaining apps completely, but Link2SD can't do this, so i've searched the internet and found that TBP can do this, but this error comes out " not enough blah blah~"
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda premium
Because even though i use Link2SD there is still some apps that has its data on internal memory.

Use a2sd++ by cronmod..
it will move data/app,data/data,data/dalvik-cache to your ext4..
I have installed a lot2 of apps..

Have you entered message centre no.?
Rom:JellyBlast V3
Kernel:Kurotstogi
Theme:Xperia theme with some personal modification.
There's two types of memory when it comes to SMS - phone memory & sim card memory - your text message maybe being saved to sim
Delete as many text messages as you can & try again

No u can't also it wouldn't solve ur problem your problem is simply running low on internal memory so so to solve simply free internal memory

[Q] [help] can't flash new rom

As you see in the thread title, I can't flash new rom. I go to the CWM, get to the rom file, (I tried Jelly Cream rom, but other roms won't install too) start flashing and after ~45 seconds flashing ends. But after rebooting my SGY, I'm still in my previous rom. What should I do?
goto cwm-advanced - mount system/cache/data before flashing

u can install hells fusion kernel its fast smooth and rock stable. And battery frendly too.
okay I'll try.
Hi friend this is the best way and surely works and confirmed on jelly cream rom as i am the develpoer of that rom
1)Go to stock recovery wipe data and cache,
2)then go to clockworkmod recovery and then mount data and system
3)hen wipe cache and then data
4)then install zip from sd card
if you only have clockworkmod recovery like in merruk kernel or white xp kernel then you should continue from step 2
Hope it works

if you have kies or adb connection disable them all first odin won't work with them running in background .
If that doesn't work - i suggest you download another firmware package from doky's thread and try . Also I've seen many similar - 'odin stuck at flashing ' threads in here and if i remember correct - all those problems were problems were fixed by simply using a different variant of firmware package .

mm yeah im rooted... but.. i wasnt using root explorer (first time i heard ot it)... i guess you solve my problem... (i was asuming that that directory was in sd card... obviously i was wrong).... thanks
K ur welcome
You can find it on the /etc/init.d/ using Root Explorer or other root browser app
get a root enabled file explorer like es file explorer ( u need to go to the settings of it to enable root ) root explorer and others
navigate to /system/etc/init.d or /etc/init.d ( its the same )
then put all the tweaks u wanted....
Where can i find the /SYSTEM/ETC/init.d directory?
You are all wrong
the init.d directory did not exist until I created it.
so use root explorer navigate to /etc which is basically the same as /system/etc and press the + sign to create a new folder, prompted to enter new folder name
type init.d and save! thats it job done
voila! you have an init.d folder now to put whatever scripts you want to run at boot in
I also used this solution http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/script-google-play-services-battery-t3059585 because I was sick of the OTA update continuing to refresh on my nexus 5 device. I'm not interested in Material design and Im very happy with KitKat 4.4.4. but my issue was I had nowhere to put the script after 2 hours of fretting I saw the light and realised I had to create init.d duh? nonone tells you these things!
Anyway now I have the script (Massive thanks to Alcolawl) running at boot so no more stupid OTA reminder runnin at boot and in the background draining my battery, will see by tomorrow if it has indeed made a difference.
NB yes you do need to add the "sleep command" into the script but I changed it from 60 seconds to 120 seconds like this: sleep 120
at the beginning of the script which gave the other system scripts a chance to boot first and then run this updatefixer script straight after sorry I know this has nothing to do with the question but thought id add it in anyway. mods feel free to move my post if you feel its not wanted in this thread, I did include the original thread link so as to indicate where I was coming from.

Install link2sd and use it to remove any system apps you don't need - be careful though removing required system apps could make your device non bootable - make a nandroid backup first
You can also use link2sd to create links to apps - this moves them to sd but the still act like they are on internal - this requires a 2nd ext partition on sd card - this can be created in cwm in the paration section but it will format your sd card so back it up first
