Hi all,
So a while ago, I had rooted my tablet. Well, shortly after, I learned that clockwork mod can't be installed on the Acer a500. I then read that you can install it via Acer recovery installer. Well every time I try to do that, it says "Unfortunately, Acer recovery installer is not responding" I would like to install the custom CynangenMod jelly bean ROM but I can't. And when I try to load it in to recovery mode, I first get a little robot with a blue sphere spinning in his chest but then it immediately goes to a robot lying on his back with his chest panel open and a red triangle with an exclamation point in it. I do have superuser and my tablet is rooted. Please help.
Thanks,
Ben

I bought an acer liquid s100 with 2.1 on it. now I upgraded it to 2.2. I downloaded it from acer and followed the instruction. when I am in the middle of installation, it just finished 25% then shuts down. After that, it showed words in red colors then restarted again and showed a triangle image with an error and a android logo. I dont know what to do next. I followed other forrums but nothing happened. I tried to master reset it but it didn't work. I need your help pls. thanks.
My acer tablet suddenly froze while streaming some youtube vids so i decided to reboot it. Upon reboot it went past the logo and was stuck on the android flashy screen so i rebooted it again and now its stuck on the Acer logo. I tried a soft reset with a pin and no results. I did the volume+rocker and it booted when empty cache booting external kernel image text. It proceeded to an android with moving gears then it went to an android with a red triangle with exclamation mark. My acer does not have an sd card attached and it is rooted on icecream sandwich. It has no custom rom. Is my tab beyond repair or could i possible flash a firmware with an sd card. I currently do not own an sd card but will be willingly to get one if it will fix my tab. This tablet is a refurb thats been working for 16 months and this is the first this happened. I hope its not a motherboard failure.
I have the same problem. Is there any help out there? A500 stuck on Acer splash screen. Android with spining gear and then dies with read triangle.

Hello all,
Just received a refurbished N7 2012 from Woot for one of my kids.
Started the unit, signed in, set-up, etc.... no issues at all.
Got the notification that there was an OTA update for 4.3. Downloaded fine.
Install and restart.
Got the dead Android after auto-restart.
Restarted and was stuck on the boot Nexus "X" for waaaaay too long
Boot into Fastboot and go to Recovery Mode
Get the Google splash screen then the dead Android with a red exclamation mark and the words "No command"
I cannot think of what went wrong.
Not rooted - out of the box stock.
Was not a sideloaded OTA update.
Any ideas or advice? Most of the fixes I have seen require Recovery of which I have none.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Figured it all out... thanks anyway!
Hi,
I have been searching for a while with no solution for this problem:
I have a I9505 Lte phone.
It's rooted and it works fine.
I also installed a custom recovery CWM. And at first it worked fine.
The problem was I could no longer get official updates OTA, then someone told me I I should try Triangle Away so I could reset the device and the OTA updates would be working again.
Triangle away reboots the phone the thing is after that reeboot I could no longer access CWM Recovery like I used to. The message: "Recovery Booting"... shows up in blue in the left upper corner of the screen and the phone turns on normally (with root), but no CWM menu shows up, ever. (No metter what buttons I keep pressed).
Can anyone help get my recovery menu back even if it is a stock recovery?
Thank You!

Turn off your Phone and wait atleast 10 sec then Hold and press Power+Volup in order to reach recovery once you see the "Recovery Booting" on top of your screen, let go both of your fingers and that should boot you into recovery . If still doenst work reflash the custom recovery such as Philz/Trwp or what recovery do you prefer and do it once again Have a nice day.
Hi everybody,
I've got the following issue, after trying to install a new version of CWM my N7 is stuck looping between the google logo and cwm. It does not actually enter cwm it just opens a screen and shows the clockworkmod version number, then reboots to the google logo and back again. This continues on and on. Any idea?

Hello,
It sounds like you may have got a bad download. If you can boot into the Bootloader I would recommend getting a new download of the recovery and trying to flash it again.
