Just wondering. Is it ROM for nexus 7 WiFi only can use for my nexus 7 3g+WiFi????
Then this is my 1st time using nexus 7. My question is did our nexus 7 have issue like Samsung device??? Brick problem???

No, make sure it's a wifi+3g rom not wifi only. I don;t know about the Samsung problem but I've read Nexus devices are hard to brick.
Thanks mate. One more thing why my nexus cannot connect to my window PC???

Hi there, the new all-in-one tools in the development section can simply un-root your nexus 7 if you want to return your nexus 7 for warranty. If I were you, I'd wait for the 15 day warranty to end before rooting just to avoid any hassle. Most issues would be noticed by that time anyway
One more question, I've only ever had an htc. Fo any other device like the galaxy nexus and this tablet do I have to get some sort of "s-off"?

I say, not to worry about any of that, actually I just rooted my nexus 7 yesterday using the nexus 7 toolkit and no problems so far

there is no s-off like thing on the Nexus 7, just OEM unlock.

I've looked and haven't found anything but figured I'd ask, is there an easy root app for the nexus 7 so I don't have to use a computer sorta like the old school evo?

Not that I'm aware of, you have to install the nexus7 toolkit on your pc and connect the N7 by usb to root it.
Bleh that's what I thought oh well will have to wait until friend gets home with the computer

Don't use a toolkit please. I would hate to have to help you unbrick it in this thread or another.
Its very very very simple to do it manually. Its a nexus device.

Nexus = No toolkit.
did you know that nexus actually means 'A connection or series of connections linking two or more things'? well you know it now.
I'm confused but I understand that nexus 7 is a tegra 3 device. Google nexus 7 webpage claims nexus 7 can play galaxy on fire. However, Google play is saying galaxy on fire is not compatible with nexus 7.

There you go-you've answered your own question. When a major OS update comes along, some apps needs to be updated for compatibility. It would seem that's your issue.

Yep, this seems to be the case. I've reached out to the developers, let's see what they'll com back with.

Has anyone sent there Nexus 7 back to ASUS because of distorted speakers or screen flicker? My Nexus 7 has both and I was wondering does that meet the warranty requirement? Also how long did it take ASUS to send you your new Nexus 7? I have a Nexus 7 8GB and I purchased it the first week it was released. Thanks in advance.

I'm new to the nexus 7 forums.
Just picked up a 2013 Nexus 7.
Are all ROM's compatible? Or just the ones in the Nexus7 section and not the original Nexus 7 section?

You need to see the Nexus 7 2013 forum.....Flo is an entirely different device.
