Hi everyone! So I've been messing around with UCCW to make myself a suitable weather icon (I'm in Canada so it's hard to find widgets that pull local weather from the store for some reason). Anyway, I've looked through the big thread of icon sets here on xda but can't find any that are a "complete set", so I end up with N/A quite often instead of an icon. Being on the east coast of Canada, we experience a huge variety of weather conditions that change constantly.
I'd like some that look "realistic" (I found one in this thread called "Reall" that I like).
Can anyone recommend a decent set of icons that I can use?
Thanks!.
Probably a good idea to ask on the UCCW thread, but anyway, have you tried the MYC Weather Icons by Asus, available for free in the Playstore? There is a large range of weather conditions.

Ah, I'm still new to these forums and didn't realise there was a separate UCCW area. I'll definitely check out the Asus ones too. Thanks!

hi is there a live wallpaper that changes depending on the weather, time of day/night, time of year
Think that Beautiful Live Weather (name might be slightly wrong, but search 'levelup studio' and you'll find it) should be exactly what you're looking for.

Hi guys. Hope I'm posting this in the correct place.
I came from Blackberry recently and did alot of alpha testing for Bellshare, developer of Berryweather and other apps. Berryweather is by far the best weather app for Blackberry bar none. I have looked at every Android weather app I can find and there are none that come close to Berryweather. I'm trying to talk the dev into making an Android weather app equivalent to Berryweather but don't think he'll do it.
I think there is a great opportunity for an Android developer to make a really nice functional weather app. Any takers?

I came from Berry Weather and there are alot of weather apps that stack up.
Palmary Pro
Weatherbug Elite
Beautiful Widgets
The Weather Channel
What are you looking for that you dont see in android apps?
I've tried those and although they're decent apps they don't have alot of features Berryweather has.
Im used to many nice custom maps. Up to 10 locations. Customizable notifications with popup integration. Probably more I haven't thought of.

I'm in the same boat. I purchased 3 weather apps for my android phone and none of them will reliably follow my location like berry weather did. Now don't get me wrong they advertise that their app will do it, it just doesn't. I will second porting berry weather to android. Would pay if someone took it on.
The guy who made all of the custom maps for Berryweather has moved to android so he's game. Just need someone to develop the app.

...the Clock app in your App Drawer? There's like... A million different possible apps. Please be a bit more descriptive.

Okay, I'm looking for a good 2 row / 4 column homescreen widget. I'm so annoyed and can't find a good one. I have fancy widget and beautiful widget. Any other suggestions?

I like GO Weather for now, although I would prefer if it would launch the clock app when you touch the clock...hopefully they will add it in
I like fancy widget, you'd have to search for it, I don't think its available for download anywhere official. I iseit on my captivate and my aria. it looks and act (mostly) like the stock sense flip clock widget. And you can set it to open specific apps when you touch the weather, calendar or clock...
Edit... OK I'm dumb, I just read right over the part where you said you already have fancy widget...

I use fancy widget, but not the one available on the market. I don't like that one. I found an old version floating around on the launcher pro website. Its identical to the sense flip clock (which is why its not available via the market anymore I'm assuming).

As there is a plethora of weather widgets on the market, I have tried to find one that works well and displays my local climate, instead of the nearest major city (which can have drastically different weather than I do). So, I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good weather widget that will replace the clock on the A500 and display my local information, a clock, and possibly the next few days forecast.
Beautiful widgets? Best 3 bucks ive spent on the market...

Weather Widget from Read Transformer
I'm using both the weather widget and ice cube live wallpaper which was originally pre-installed on Asus Eeepad Transformer. They can be downloaded from Xoom discussion forum under theme discussion board.
My Acer could barely function with that live wallpaper from the Asus.
Got the same setup as Beanieandme and it runs smooth as silk mate.

Weather widget from transformer works great and found my town easy.

I noticed from the Xoom thread that the apk's aren't signed, will they work in a non-rooted device?
I haven't rooted mine yet, still a little cautious on the whole thing in the event something happens. I'll likely do it once we see more custom roms and such and I know there's a definite way to back out of the rooted system if needed (e.g. Warranty/Peace of Mind).
Could someone post the link, I couldn't find the weather app
