hello ...
i have i galaxy s but i was wrong flashing with galaxy tap flash file...
can any help me solve this problem .....

Can you get into download mode? If so, flash the correct files again.

cannot go into download mode ..
just black lcd now..and i test with power supply the metter it show 0.2 to 0.4

Here's a hot tip...
If your thread has "help" in the title, it almost certainly doesn't belong in development.
If your download mode is inaccessible, you may need a jig. Lots of info around here.
Why were you flashing without testing your three button download/recovery first?

First of all charge ur sgs. Then go to 3 button combo(volume down+home button+power) download mode. Then using Odin flash Darkyy 9.2 resecure resecure edition. Hope this will clear ur problem.

this phone is program chinese version but my patner wrong putting galaxy tap flash file ..now ii just hope someone can help me ...pls
i have try enter recovery mode but fail i have try take out batterry for 1 hr but fail too now jz jig no try yet
stil have any solution ??

People have made numerous suggestions. Try to get into DOWNLOAD MODE (not recovery) by removing the battery, replacing it, and pressing VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER and holding them.
If that really doesn't work after you have tried multiple times, you will need to order a Jig from Ebay.
Beyond that, the only solution for the future is STOP YOURSELF FROM DOING STUPID THINGS TO YOUR PHONE BY TAKING CARE AND LEARNING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING WHATSOEVER!

yup tottally right when u don kno stuff there r 100s of topic,,and every rom here has in bold caution---download and recovery check...
anywayz **** happens try the download mode use the jig or search the youtube on how to make one or the last u can send it to sammy center...

[Q] No access to recovery or download mode

I wanted to root my sons phone
SGY GT-S5360L, 2.3.5, S5360LUHKI1, Kernel 2.6.35.7 [email protected] #1, GINGERBREAD.UMKJ2
Unfortunately i cannot enter recovery or download mode with the 3 buttons combo, so i dont know how to flash a custom kernel to get rooting. Anybody could help? How can i get access to recovery and download?

sure thing, just flash this in stock recovery no need for CWM, it works and gets your phone rooted

Sorry how do i get to stock recovery? Volume up, power and home gives nothing.
Also volume down, power and home does not enter download mode.

is that a custom kernel?where did he get that?tell me...is it work?
btw, youre a senior member. please don't be a bad example for newer member here. please put your answer in faq section next time. to root your sons device, you may use super one click from shortfuse if you can't get into recovery nor odin mode.

LOL, it works, it was actually the first file i ever flashed on my Y, gets nonrooted phone rooted right away without any need for a CWM

no...what i mean is the kernel in his son's phone. i've used the same method to root my phone too. (lol)
@clauss: tell me...where did your son got that kernel. we're developing a new kernel for SGY at this moment. that kernel could be helpfull for us.

Thanks a lot that did root my phone, now i can use Titanium backup to restore some apps and databases. I know i should not ask that here, but how could i gain access to stock recovery or download mode to flash a custom rom?

isn't that a combo button for mini?
@clauss: have you turn off your phone before using 3 combo button?it should be work on any stock SGY

Duh...now i feel dumb... i was doing it like on my SGS i9000 where i just restart with the 3 buttons pressed. Now i turned the phone off and it works, both recovery and download. Really many thanks to you and all who answered.

thats ok. I saw you as high spirited learner and you have read so much information lately. its normal if you got confused when trying to understand some technical term. maybe you should take it slower. too many new information could blow your head

OK I got lost, so how exactly did he root his L version? kurotsugi method or with deathnotice01rootaccess.zip?
I have the same model and kernel, and would like to root it.

i have a peculiar problem.. my galaxy young turns off every time after showing the galaxy y logo.. i can't enter into recovery mode by 3 key combo. but i can enter into download mode but the phone turns off after few seconds.. can't flash via odin.... i have tried the ''without battery method'' mentioned in a thread but same thing happens..
another peculiar thing is that ,, after inserting the battery the phone automatically starts but shutdown after few seconds showing 'galaxy y '' logo..
please help me...

[Q] update installation stuck

hello
my friend has galaxy y duos gt-s6102
he received and update,during installation its stuck on 46%.if he power off and turn on again the device will directly enter the installation and stuck again,I could not enter to the download mood so I can flash the android via odin,if i touch any key the device will continue to that step again
any one can help brothers?

If you can enter into recovery,try wiping data and cache.

If it was an update.. Then i am sure ur phone is in warrenty.. Or shud be fixed by service centre for free... U can just ask them.. If they ask money.. Then u can flash stock rom via odin..

Bro i was also suffering from the same problem......installing process was getting stuck at 86%, removed battery then i put it back and started it then ot started getting stuck on 46% no matter how many times i did the same thing.......then i searched online and found 1 post on yahoo and it worked :laugh: it really simple, you just have to plug the charger in and surprising it completed the update process after a while ! cheers mate :good:

[Q] HELP...Reboot loop is making it unable to flash using ODIN..

A week back my "GALAXY Y GT-S5360" got boot loop started when I tried to update my phone through wifi...
Later i read a thread here in XDA and flashed it for the first time using ODIN v1.85.
It worked well for a week with intermediate restarts once or twice until yesterday when i was browsing the net it suddenly switched off.
It would restart on its own and be in the loop and again shuts down for sometime...
Now i tried to do the same flashing through ODIN and during the process it shuts down and again restarts....This way i am not able to flash it...
I tried to restart it in recovery mode and did the wipe cache/factory reset but still during that too the phone powers OFF itself..
pls help me...

try a different stock rom from dokys thread. it might have problems with your provider or something try a new firmware

Might be a hardware problem..your power buuton must be jammed or try removing battery,leave it for some time then try again...if it turns on suddenly then its surely a hardware problem

Even to try a different stock still it has to be powered on to do it right...the moment i connect it to ODIN it stays awake for 5 sec and shuts off....how can i try something else?? [HELP!] SGY GT-S5360 Fails to start

I'm really sorry if I asked this question again if it may have been asked earlier, but i really need to get answers ASAP because I could not use the internet all of the time.
Days after I rooted my SGY GT-S5360, it would no longer start and it would not charge either(both by charger method and PC method of charging) . I also tried going to Recovery Mode but then again it does not. So I tried charging my battery using a universal charger for a short while. After doing so, I placed again my battery to my device and tried turning it on. It would turn on but only until the "Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360" logo and then it would turn off again. I tried taking the battery out and then putting it in again, but the same scenario happens.
I am sure that I am not on a BOOTLOOP issue because it shows no symptoms of it. And I would not want to believe that I am Hard Bricked because my device still boots only until the "Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360" logo. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM
By the way, I have not flashed any ROMs or Tweaks or Updates on my device and I am still on my Stock ROM.]

First boot into Safe Mode
then restore system if not
trying to install custom rom if not
flashing stock rom
