yes its on the phone but when I click "Set Up VisualVoiceMail" I get an error.
How Do I enable it on T-Mobile??

Is you account on T-Mobile setup for Visual Voice Mail? I know for android devices my friend had to go to their web site and enable it first in their account before they could set it up on their phone.

Now Works
All of a sudden the VisualVoiceMail started working.
I tap Turn on and it works.

yes i just put my language from german to englisch and there are following apps talk voice dailer voice search youtube at the buttom...
beside the ip google doesnt know my real location but maybe they look up the ip and change out the software?!
Well, i doubt that,
voice needs to verify the mobile number you're using, in my case i needed to have it verified by using my providers internet connection instead of WiFi, and it starts with +31, so they know where i am

Tmobile message 129

Anyone know how to fix/eliminate tmobile voicmail notification texts (129) ? These are the crazy encrypted texts that come from 129 everytime you listen to or delete your voicemail.
I am using bi-winning with overclock 2.2.1
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
I am guessing you activated Visual Voicemail on your account before? I doubt this is something you can fix by tweaking the ROM. Try turning off your visual voicemail (on the account) first.
get visual voicemail from the market, go to greetings tab, hit menu, go to settings, deactivate visual voicemail, test it.
that should turn the text messages off.

Won't that disable VVM? I'm seeing a few people suggest that, is everyone just using the standard voicemail or is there a better option then Visual Voice Mail?

depends.. i use VVM as it is convinient, but at this point it's a nuisance with the text msgs.
honestly, i can do with or without VVM. In this case, i'll have to do without.
I just added 129 to my black list to stop the messages an it stoped! I use (afirewall apk) an it works good

[Q] Google Voice(mail) and Sprint voicemail

So randomly this week I have been getting some VM that comes in from GV and others still come in from sprint.
This is my work phone and the only GVmails have come from people calling from my corporate office, and the others from my area stores.
I didn't set this up and actually like the GVmail as i can just read the email that it sends.
Any help on how to fully setup so all VM come in using google voice? I logged in to my GV account but see not settings to change in there.
thanks
try reinstalling google voice and setting it up to integrate with sprint.... which brings a question how do you remove the annoying "press 1 to answer"?
that's the thing though I don't have GV on my phone installed at all and only use GV for a home number and have never setup GV with my work cell #.
Side note:From what I can remember each time I got mail from GV my phone never rang but got the VM later from GV.

You have to go to Google/voice on your computer and go into settings. I just did that cuz I hated the press 1 to answer also.

if you don't have you GVmail setup and someone calls your GV number, they will hear it ring a few times, then some silence..
If your settings are default (to screen calls or press 1 to accept the call or something dumb) THEN it adds to the confusion.
I would set up your GVmail w/ a greeting that's appropriate, get your call screening options setup the way you like it (I do not screen unless it's a private caller) Then get your text messaging options setup.
Also they have some cool functionality for voicemail to text or Vmail to email transcription too. It's funny sometimes.. They come up with some weird stuff hahahahaha..
Hope this helps

Hey Punk! Don't call in and get my messages!

I just activated a Droid Incredible. When I get a voicemail,I get a notification on the front of the phone, telling me to dial "*86#xxxx#"
The xxxx is my voicemail passcode for when I retrieve my messages.I have it programmed into the provider's voicemail system. When I long press "1" it retrieves my mail.
I need a notification on the phone when I have a voicemail, but to have my passcode in full view is not cool. How can I change that?
Have you tried Google voice? Its better integrated with our smart phones than the carrier's option, though I understand everyone has their preferences.
That's one solution!

Does that change the display only? Because what I have in there is what I want to dial when I hold down the "1" key.
I also don't want to have to listen for prompts and key in my code everytime I check for voicemails.
I'm pretty sure there's an option once you're in your voicemail to change whether or not you have to put your code in each time you check it from your phone. just listen to all the prompts and go through the options.

That is what I do now,it works fine.
But when someone leaves a voicemail,I get a notice on the display telling me of the time of call and to "dial *86p????#"
If I have my phone put down somewhere anyone can happen by and see my passcode.I am trying prevent my passcode from being displayed.Maybe I am missing something?
I am running froyo and the stock ROM.

Ah i see i misunderstood what you were trying to accomplish. I dont know of any way to make the notification not show your password. It is going to show what ever is programed in the voicemail settings.

There is no way around this. i use the same thing so i dont have to type my password in. you would have to use Google voice to get around it.

[Q] google voicemail setup problem

Cannot forward to Google Voice number for voicemail on Nexus 4
I get invalid mmi number or connection problem.
Can any one help me.
I am having similar issues. With straight talk t mobile

Op, are you on T-Mobile? If so, I didn't think Google voice voicemail works be cause they don't allow call forwarding. I could be wrong but that might be the issue.
EDIT: I meant T-Mobile pre-paid, not postpaid
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Are you on prepaid? It won't work with T mobile pre paid plans at least.
Also, make sure you aren't on WIFI, for some reason it wouldn't work on wifi(but this was with the S3 and wifi calling) but you can try.
Also, try doing it from the voice website, it'll give you a code to input and that may work.
Mine works fine and I am on T-Mobile. Go to your phone, then hit settings. Then go to Voicemail and make sure the service is set to Google Voice.

did you set up the app on your phone? (install, configure, go to phone -> settings -> voicemail and check Google Voice) and then go to voice.google.com on your PC, settings, Phones tab, Activate voicemail -> get the MMI code from there?
mine has worked fine on AT&T for years doing the above steps.
EDIT: see screenshot... where mine says "deactivate voicemail", are you clicking "Activate Voicemail" to get your MMI code? that's where it needs to come from... (just trying to trouble-shoot for ya).

hmm... not sure what to tell you. in voice.google.com , settings, click deactivate voicemail... then uninstall the app off your phone, then start over...
install app, setup, configure
then click "reactivate voicemail" at voice.google.com...
if that still doesn't work, I'm not sure how to help.
Google Voice and T-Mobile
This is what I did to work on T-Mobile.
Google voice will work for text, making calls, and catching voicemails for missed calls. However, if you ignore the call, it will go to your T-mobile voicemail.
What I did was call T-mobile and told them to deactivate my vm (it's a common request they get)
Then I created a contact in my phone book and I entered my tmobile (not gv number) and I set the option to sen to VM whenever called
Then I wen into the voicemail options and changed the number of the VM (put this number in the contacts as well as you might want to reference it later) from the t-mobile number to the google voice number
After than, google voice works like normal. No need to set up conditional call forwarding.
