Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone here has gotten the Eye-Fi app to work with a camera with an Eye-Fi SD card. If so please help as I can't get the app to work on the Archos 101 G8. The app works fine on my Android phone so I know the card is working.

Update: I wasn't able to get the Eye-Fi Wi-Fi SD Card to work, but I did try the Transcend Wi-Fi SD Card and it works great!

Hello all,
Recently, when I browsed to my SD card to grab some pictures, I saw that there was only 1 (strange) file left. So I decided todo a soft-reset, now the sd card isn't being recongized. I really want to get it working again, because I have some important data on it.

Or the application WM5Storage to turn your phone into a card reader?
While uploading pictures onto the miniSD card that came with my Touch a few days ago, the window froze and my Touch hasn't been able to recognize the card at all since then. I'm pretty sure it's not a software issue as I've tried a hard reset with no luck, and I'm hesitant on buying a new miniSD card cuz I'm not really sure if it's a hardware issue.
Has anyone experienced something like this at all?

my phone isnt reading any sd card
my sd card adapter isnt working properly either i've tested it on a video camera that supports sd cards
so is it best to jus get a replacement phone?
Does anyone have an idea of what SD cards are compatible with the A500 yet?
I have a Sandisk 8GB Class 2 SDHC card that worked fine in my nookColor, but won't work in the A500. I have another Sandisk, but it's a 2GB and not class rated (at least not on the card) and it seems to work fine, though I haven't done any extensive testing.
The symptoms I'm having are that if I have files on the SD card, the A500 can see them, but it can't write anything to the card.
Also on the topic of SD Cards, is there a way to format a card in the A500 yet? Neither of the cards I have tried give me the option to unmount or format when I look into the storage area of the Settings menus.

From what I can see there's no way to format the SD inside Honeycomb, yet.
Been looking it up but haven't found any references.
I have no solution for you, just a recommendation that I hope will solve your problem.
Recommendation:
Copy the content of you microSD to your PC.
Format the card in FAT32 on your PC (is it able to do it?)
Copy the files back to the MicroSD.
Try it in the Acer again.
I have quite a few cards myself and they all work in the A500.

I gave that a shot before coming here to find out why it wasn't working. Unfortunately, I still can't get the system to write to the card. It will read it if I have content on it to begin with, but that's it.
My 2GB SD Card seems to be working fine, same brand, just not rated with a class as it is likely a class 1 from before ratings started.

I have a 8gb SunDisk micro sd class 4 but my A500 would not recognize it, the card works fine on my phone and on my laptop.
I tryied with a 8gb Transcend and everything is ok.
I had to restart the tablet with sdcard in to recognize it afterwards. Now seems to work ok.
My sd reader isnt working a week ago it was i know its not my sd card cause it works when i hook it up to something else does anybody know what i can do to get my reader working?

Recently i had this problem with my phone, the external microsd card that im using is Sandisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-1 64GB. I have used this external sd card to store movies, pictures and music on it and it works normally until recently the sd card starts to give me some problem. It started to have problem every time i transferred movies and pictures in it and it does not show up in the external storage when its is done transferring from my computer to my phone. Also I was not able to format my sd card under Settings>Storage>Format SD card. Can anybody advise me on this issues or did anyone who have similar problem solves their problem? Thanks you very much . :laugh::laugh:
Im using the stock rom by the way.

Did you try format it using your PC?
Edit:after you format using pc then you try to format it again using same method as you did with your phone. Hopefully its not a faulty sdcard

Flash it from recovery. It s better than windows.
Had an issue with a similar Sandisk card recently in my girlfriends phone. It seemed as if it went into some sort of read-only mode. Could not format it, could not write to it, either from phone or pc. I could backup the data though. Turned out to be a faulty card. Sandisk has a 5 year warranty on these cards though, so it was nicely replaced with a new one without any hassle.

Had similar issue before. The card cannot be written or formated any more . Stuck in read only. The only way is to send it in for warranty claim and get a new one. And if you do that remember to destroy the old card if you have sensitive information on it.
You can't destroy the card as you need to return it. If you destroy the card before sending it back, it is user caused damage and it will not be replaced..
