[Q] How to remove or adjust the Volume Boost???

Hi
I'm using stock 12332 build and performance fix which includes DJ_Steve kernel, volume boost etc, I'm generally very happy but the volume boost is to aggressive for me so during call the sound is too low or too loud, so could anybody tell me how to switch it off or adjust the volume step
Thnx in advance
Cheers
Is the Volume Boost available as a separate app or upgrade file?
It's just built in dj Steve rom, I sent him PM but no answer so far
At the risk of sounding like a jackass, what's wrong with the volume buttons? Just turn it down a bit
But to answer your question, yes. I think you'd need to download his source (if it's available) modify it, and build it yourself though.
I have had this problem too. The volume buttons after volume boost change the volume in increments far to big. If there is any easy fix for this please tell

DHD + CM7.1 in-call volume/sound problems

Other than the issue listed below CM7.1 is awesome! Great work devs!
I flashed CM7.1 from 7.1RC the other night.
I had no issues in the RC but with 7.1 I notice that the volume control does not affect the in-call volume. Regardless of the Volume setting, the in-call speech and dial tones are clipping. I've also been told that the listener has a hard time hearing me.
Has anyone else had this issue and/or know a fix for it?
Thank you.
Change radio

Yep, seems like a bit of a problem with the radio or the ROM. Are you using the recommended radio for the ROM? Try that first. If that doesn't work try a different ROM.
The latest radio with 1003 ril seems to be working for me

I flashed the latest available radio out there for DHD (don't remember the link to the thread, sorry) and it was working flawlessly.
Cheers
I have same problem on my Galaxy mini
I am sorry, I am a newbie.
what do you mean about "RADIO"? that is the radio aplication or phone application (to make a call)?
and how I change it?
Sorry I am not good in english. I hope you understand what I mean.
When I make/answer a call, for the first 10 seconds or so the volume is really loud, and using the volume rocker doesn't do anything. After that the volume then drops to whatever the rocker was set at (which is usually the lowest volume as i've been trying to lower it before) and I can adjust the volume again.
Would this be a radio issue? I am using CM 7.1
i had the same problem
im using the latest stock DHD radio
everytime have to press volume button 1 times then it return back to what i set before
pressing sound reducing button will increase the in call volume, this helped me but any permanent solution for this?

[Q?]Maximum sound level modding

hello.
i'm pretty sure i saw somewhere a way of changing some system files in a rom to have a higher/lower volume sound (i'm talking about the real maximum level, not the volume like using volume buttons). i couldn't find anything about it. can anyone guide me? thatnks.
(what i want to do is to increase the maximum sound level)

[Q] Volume: Expand Setting Steps?

I've been running Sacs V3 Rom for a month now...awesome Rom! The one thing that keeps annoying me and may not have anything to do with the ROM itself is that the volume levels are way too loud and don't allow for fine volume control. Is there a way to expand the volume step levels beyond the standard 7 for more fine control? Or is there a way to decrease the volume beyond the lowest level? Even at the lowest setting the ringtone startles me every time my phone rings because it's so loud (changing the ringtone doesn't help).
I have tried various volume control apps but either they don't change the fine volume step control, or they just plain don't work. "Fine Volume Control V2" works about the best because it gives 1% steps but it is very buggy and the volume settings don't "stick". I have also tried using the Xposed Installer with XVolume, which is supposed to increase the step size from 7 to as much as 45, but that didn't work either.
Any advice or others fine volume control apps I'm missing that would provide more control?
Maybe when you installed you selected the "loud" volume hack rather than the "slight" or "Stock". You could dirty flash and select the stock or slight mod.

Click to collapse
I did not see any kind of hack to set the volume level when originally installing the ROM, nor when I tried to dirty flash it.

[Q] In call volume

So i am using MultiX v2 on my N9005 and I'm finding the maximum in-call volume a little bit low for my tasting.
Is there is any way to increase it? A mod or something?
Thanks.
