I'ts dropped on the ground for about half metres.
It shouldn't be broken on this.
I will check the adapters off the screen again if some of these are loose.

It could be good news or bad news. If the contacts have broken on the surface then they can be re-soldered. If they have broken below the surface then that's probably the end of the motherboard. The Tyn has a multi-layered boardand breaks between layers are impossible to fix. We do not have a detailed circuit diagram otherwise it might be possible to solder on jumper leads instead.
Let's hope it's jus snapped at the surface. Either you or a skilled repair shop could do it.
Here is the board with the battery connector removed:

You can see the six solder points.

Can't remember to be honest - maybe they are just anchor points.
Mike

A'ight, so i opened my good old' Prophet today.
I am 50% sure that the battery thing thangy on the motherboard (see pic) is broken.

However, it might also be the battery, i have two batteries, one is the one that came with the Prophet and one is a cheap battery i ordered from Dealextreme.
I do know that the cheap battery is dead, but the other one (I did some testing with it, it shows up at 1.4V at my multimeter) i'm not sure if it is dead.
The phone has been like this before:
It randomly worked, randomly turned off, it wouldn't work for like 10 days, then when i put the battery in again it worked.
It kept doing that until it died completely.
Any suggestions?
I can't understand on photo. A battery pin is broken? If the problem is broken pin, a watchseller or jeweler can fix it. They have the right equipment to work with small things

You think they will fix this?
I would try to get a new (third) cheap battery.
Or try to re-animate the cheap one (dangerous, forbidden, but works often for me: open battery casing, unsolder LiIon-Cell, reload with Lab power supply to around 3-3.8 V (never > 4.2V!!!!), resolder, put in Prophete, start charging....)
The pins look ok. 1.4V for LiIon is below the deadly shutdown value!

OK, maybe my answer is a bit late...

Maybe is something wrong with your screen but if you don't have warranty this is very bad I'm not sure but maybe you need a screen replacement

So, you think this seems to be a hardware problem ?
I think that to but you know...i keep my hope 'till the end
Why i said it is strange is that because nothing aren't cut from the images displayed on...display. It's like the whole information that was should be sticked on display, have moved a little on the left...

Not a hardware problem a problem with your screen maybe something like a dead pixels line...
Hi guys,
I got an samsung galaxy s4 and its screen randomly opening or closing i cant decide what makes this or if it is a software or hardware problem. When i connect the phone to pc it shows up on my computer.. I showed it to a phone repairer he wanted 130 pounds to change the screen but i didnt trusted him. I also gave the phone to service in cyprus and they fixed it for few days than it happened again. The money I paid was around 20 pound. Do you have any idea? I think if the screen works when it decided to open , the screen is healthy... Thanks for your help.
What do you mean by randomly opening and closing? Do you mean your screen goes on and off randomly?
Can you make a video that shows it?

I know this is a little off topic... But seeing a post for the OP8Pro with a 2022 date on it is refreshing! Been searching for days for information on how to flash a ROM/TWRP and/or ROOT and most posts are from 2020. I was beginning to think the device/projects were abandoned!
While on the subject, if anyone has recently and successfully accomplished any of the things I mentioned, would you please share? I have over a 100 tabs open right now from all the bricking I've had to come out of over the last 5 days!
Thanks!
