please help toolkit 1.3.0 Nexus 10 - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am trying to install the mskips toolkit roo on my Nexus 10. I have followed the directions read the thread and watched the video twice. Once I unlocked it I got stuck at the flashing X, I have tried to boot into recovery (around 18 times now) and nothing happens, I know my N10 was seen by the kit my serial number was shown. It is telling me the the mtp usb is not installed. Now what? I know it is unlocked it says so. do I try to restart bootloader or just keep restarting it in recovery? I hope someone can please help me on this, I hope I didn't brick a brand new device. This is my first and by the way it is going last root ever....:crying:

fixed, for some reason after my N10 unlocked it wouldn't recognize adb, was able to download it again and I was good to go from there. mskip makes a great kit for beginners! thanks

No Odin, that's only for Samsung. Can you get into the bootloader? You know, hold power button and volume + and - until you see the android character
Why'd you post this in the development forum? Ask questions in the Q&A Forum.

If possible get to a windows device, install the universal drivers (found on this forum somewhere) and flash a stock recovery image available here manually following the steps that they provide, or use mskip's toolkit (have had success with this, but I'd only use it if you actually understand what it is going to do in case it screws up)

First off, whenever you could access Bootloader, you could fix your tablet, especially those from ASUS.
Second of all, HOW TO POST FACEPALM ON MY TAB?!?!?!

[Q] Nexus 7 stuck on bootloader/google screen

Don't know how but I broke my Nexus 7 (2013 LTE) using wugfresh toolkit. I had it rooted and unlocked using the toolkit then decided I wanted to go back to stock. So I used the flash stock + unroot (device on) and oem lock.
Now my Nexus when powered on comes to the bootloader (fastboot mode) screen that has START at the top in green. If I press power to select start it shows Google in white with nothing else on the screen. It will stay like that forever (at least a few hours that I've verified). I also just noticed while it is on the "Google" screen I can press the up/down volume buttons and it gives me the option to start, power off, etc. just like it's still in the bootloader. I'm not really sure what all that means... just trying to give as much information as possible.
I've had no luck finding a solution already on this forum. I haven't even found someone who describes this exact same problem with this particular model Nexus.
In addition to trying to use the Wug toolkit to fix my Nexus I also came across this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2381582
I tried following the instructions exactly and the output seemed to report fixing my Nexus but it did not. I'm referring to the output you get when you run the dead nexus bat file. The only bad output it gave me was several messages "FAILED (remote: Bootloader is locked)" However, at the bottom of the output it said my "Nexus has been restored!"
So in summary these two solutions I've tried (wug toolkit and the thread mentioned above) seem to report fixing my Nexus but didn't actually do anything. Also noticed now with the WUG toolkit the driver test fails. I followed all the steps and removed all drivers and did a fresh install. It mentions needing USB debugging enabled but how can I do that since I can't get past the bootloader/google screen?
Any help appreciated!
One other thing I forgot to mention. When it was working after I had rooted/unlocked I installed that multirom app from the app store. I don't see how that could have broken anything.
One last thing I recall. The last thing I did was do a factory reset under settings when everything was working.
I've been trying all these various toolkits and following videos but nothing seems to fix it. One thing about all these help guides out there they all tell you to make sure you're in usb debugging mode... but that isn't possible for me since I can't get past the Google loader. I haven't had much luck finding out what to do in my case.
and I think I just fixed it! I will post what I did if this works...
So all I had to do was unlock my bootloader then do the factory/stock restore. When I tried following every single recovery guide out there none of them mentioned unlocking before doing the 1 click restore/fix. Strange I had to do it this way I guess, but every tool would error out saying the Nexus was locked.

[Q] [HELP] Hard Brick Nexus 7

Hi, this is my firt post, i'm going to quote this problem that's the same problem that I have...
"Device : Nexus 7
Problem : I was trying to unroot it and flash a 4.4.2 ROM to the device and i ended up bricking it somehow. I looked around a lot on here and youtube. I found one solution i had not tried which was to get into recovery mod. But the device was stuck on the boot loaded. So i hard shut it down, and pressed the key combination to load the boot loader. And, the screen wasn't loading. I heard the little chimes my computer makes when ever a USB device is active, so i heard the thing load into the boot loader. But its not showing on the screen!
Please help i really shouldn't have done this. But i am literally about to cry.
I tried using Wugfresh's Nexus toolkit to flash the ROM, and it would stop on sending system.
I dont know if i did something wrong, if the kernel was messed up, if the kit wasnt right, please as the video said there is 4 million members here. someone has to know what to do...
-Sean"
I did exactly the same thing that this guy did... ----> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345874

Do you get a charging icon when you plug in the n7? did you try a diffrent cable? What exactly does ur computer do when you plug in the dead n7 (does it thy try to install a apx driver) Does toolkit see tablet like its in the bootloader? If so try to flash a new bootloader!
try this found in another thread
To get it out of AXP mode, the correct instructions:
1. Plug in the usb into computer
2. Hold Volume Down + Volume Up + Power simultaneously for like 15 seconds
3. The bootloader should show up.
4. If it doesn't, unplug the usb cable, and plug it back in and then repeat the these procedures
Wugs tool kit
First when you plug it in hold all three power buttons
Second
I also have used the tool kit it gets stuck all the time on the flashing system. I think its a time out error because of the complexity of extracting the image and flahing the image with out a retry or check command. Here is a fix that i have figured out. When in Wugs tool kit download the Os Version you want on your device locate the folder with the downloaded image and extract it using 7 zip. once extracted flash the remaing .img files seperatly under andvance setting menu select flash system then user data it should boot right up. if you forgot what version you flashed previously flash all img files boot bootloader system user etc. if you still have problems let me know. i can give you my email.
Click thanks if i helped

Unfortunately it sounds like you erased your bootloader and nvflash can do nothing for you unless you used the unbrickable mod before u f'ed up your tablet. Try sending it to asus for Warranty tell em you installed the ota update and it wouldn't boot up afterwards. I have read many threads about this issue with nobody being able to recover there tablet. Asus does have global warranty

[Q] Nexus 4 BRICKED.... PLEASEEEEEE HELP =(

Hello,
I had installed the Franco Kernel on my N4 some months back. I recently got the 5.0 Lollipop OTA update but i could not install it. I read somewhere that i needed to install the stock kernel to get Lollipop installed. So i got the factory image of 5.0 for N4 from google and manually tried to flash with some Kernel flasher app i dont recall the name. THAT WAS THE WORST DECISION I EVER TOOK.
Now my phone is stuck in fastboot mode. I can go to recovery and all. Whwn i try to start up my phone i can only see a black screen.. i downloaded adb but the problem is I HAD NOT TURNED ON USB DEBUGGING. I searched the net for a week, asked my friends who all said that i should throw away my old( i dont consider it old) phone and get a new one. I have come here with a lot of hope. I bought the N4 so as to use it for atleast another year .
Adb doesnt recognize my phone. Pc says "Android Device". Please help me. Im saving for getting my sister a laptop and i just cant afford another decent reliable phone.
You do not need USB debugging for fastboot mode. when cionnected is should say android device and some serial number.
USB debug mode is when the android OS is running not fastboot mode
if it does not when connected at the prompt type fastboot devices
follow the install instructions here and it should get you device back. (in the commands remember to replace the file names with the lollipop names)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/how-to-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2010312
I have brought back at least 10 devices from my own doing and from people that screw up their phone and not know what they are doing.
Good luck
Ok i will follow it. I currently have the 4.2.2 image file. Yes in fastboot mode PC recognizes it as Android Device. Lets hope i can do it I dont need USB debugging right ?:silly:
I dont know how i should thank you and this forum. I love you guys, you helped me when i had lost all hopes of getting my phone back i love you guys <333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333

Nexus 7 "Soft Bricked", in never-ending Boot Loop, need help in simple terms

Nexus 7 "Soft Bricked", in never-ending Boot Loop, need help in simple terms
I have a Un-Rooted Nexus 7 2012 32GB (bought new in Nov 2013) that suddenly and for no reason "soft-bricked", stuck in a never-ending
Boot Loop (swirling/spinning 4 color circles). I still had Android
4.4.4 running on it, except for the typical slacker stock Launcher
hangs and not responding, it was running pretty good.
I have tried a few time to do a "factory reset" from the Recovery Menu
(Pwr & Volumn Down procedure) and nothing, also tried before that the
Cashe Clearing. Nothing gets it to Factory Reset, just another Boot Loop.
I have never tried a Rooting of an Android device (though I've been in
Windows and IBM Network IT engineering for 25+ years.) Can someone
help me step by step in near layman's term to restore this Nexus 7?
I'd actually rather NOT Root it for a custom ROM, just get it back to KitKat 4.4.4 (Preferred) of if I have to LolliPop 5.1 which I have experienced is the dead end for the N7's (2012 and 2013's) since my older N7 2012 8GB refuses to update to 5.1.1.
Appreciate the step by step help. If you're recommending a PC program
I need to use, please supply the link to the exact version to
download.
Thanks
Hi,
U can unlock ur nexus 7 bootloader and then flash the stock ROM using the Nexus Root Toolkit. Use this to unlock bootloader. Then on the right side ull see a flash option. Under that select bootloop and then click on flash. It should get u out of bootloop. Then relock bootloader if u want. Before using it check whether u have the proper adb drivers installed.
NRT- http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
U can get the stock ROM images from(if needed) - https://developers.google.com/android/images
Hit the thanks button if it helped!
How can I use Wugfresh or any PC App to access the BootLooped N7 2012 when it never starts?? It never gets past the spinning 4-color dots.
I've been to the Wugfresh site and noted that it says it's only compatible with N7 2013 models and up.
Also, where can I download the OEM pure KitKat 4.4.4 ROM?

Boot into the bootloader and connect it to the PC. If u have proper drivers it will recognise it. The link I have to the NRT supports N7 2012(see ss). U can download the stock rom from the 2 link I've given.
Select nakasi for N7 2012 WiFi or depending on ur model
