Hi,
I just got a Nexus 7 and my screen have a problem, I think that a dust is trapped behind the glass (see attached image). I'll return it to the support but how long it will take to have a new one?
Thanks!

The screen on my Nexus 4 is starting to lift at the bottom. Starting to look like I have a giant bubble all along the bottom edge. I have no screen protectors installed. Looks like this was caused by the rubber edge of a hard case rubbing against the bottom edge of the screen. Anyone else having this issue. I guess it is still under warranty and I should contact Google to get it fixed. Very dissapointed in the build quality of the phone. I have unlocked and rooted the phone. Should I restore it to its original condition before sending it back to Google?
post pics !
It should be covered for a year
Dropped my Nexus 4 on concrete and now it has a pretty minor crack, but for whatever reason a lot of the screen doesn't work anymore, even though the crack doesn't take up that much of the screen? Should I send it in for repair or should I just get the Nexus 5 or some other phone? I'm honestly okay with the screen being cracked if I could somehow fix the digitizer so it could still detect when I touch the screen? Is that also a possibility, and how much would that cost?
You should replace the whole screen...its very hard to separate the digitizer from glass and from the lcd.
You can find a original screen assembly [with front housing] here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LCD-Touch-F...e_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item232abea64c
Hi,
I am just wondering if anybody has come across a Tempered Glass Screen Protector for this tablet.
Since this tablet is quite rare, I expect this to be a looooooooooooong shot.
Thanks
In advance
i want one too
Our tablet is not popular - it is hardly possible to find
must be some other tablet out there that has a tempered screen protector that fits the note 7. maybe one from a nexus 7?
I found only one what appears to be a "glass" screen protector.. A Hybrid Glass one whatever that means (I cannot seem to get any actual data on if it is real glass or some form of just hard plastic).
If I can get my charging port fixed this weekend, I might see if I can pick one up to throw on my Note and see if is what we are looking for.

where do you get it fixed. mine broke a week ago ( tongue inside the mini usb socket bent and chipped off )
I managed to makeshift recharge the batter directly by soldering usb charging cable to battery terminals and installed batter reset app
But now I am in constant fear that if this tab bootloops for any reason I wont be able to salvage by bootloader flashing.
Also looking for tempered glass for this tab. fine cracks have started developing on the screen and digitizer / lcd folder is welded to frame so cant replace them imho
Used nexus 7 screen protetctor cut out from the right edge from camera hole
perfect fit: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gigabyte...Screen-Protector-Protection-Film/351927591291
I got my hands on a nexus 7 which had a broken digitizer. I replaced the screen with an OEM piece, but after 10 minutes of usage yellowish spots started to appear at every side. I thought it was pressure and removed some screws. Every spot gone except one which got even worse and turned purple. What to do? Picture attached..
-maybe useful sideinfo: new screen didnt have copper alloy sheets on them like old one
-the screen seems very sensitive for pushing where the spot is
How can I tell that the screen the third party repair center is using is Gorilla 4?
Where can I buy online genuine screen? And is it true as I read online that since all device parts need to be removed to reach the screen it will be impossible not to have after repair marks or dents?
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
virtually impossible to take phone apart without the right tools and damaging the black glass camera lens.
I purchased a screen and rear battery cover (which came with the black glass lens cover and the strip at the bottom on the back. The screen was around €50 and the back cover around €20. Also, you should purchase a screen separator like this: http://www.ebay.fr/itm/LCD-Screen-R...t-Tool-Manual-Sucker-Separator-/141888803105? as it is very difficult to get the screen out.
If you are careful, it is not such a a difficult job, and I would say to ask the seller about whether or not is is Gorilla 4. Personally, I user good glass screen prtoectors, and seeing how breakable the gorilla 4 is, I'm not too worried about ensuring it is 100% original Gorilla 4 - I am am happy with the result: I bought a broken 2 month old Nexus 6p 128GB silver and have fixed it all for about €300.
I got mine properly repaired through Huawei who directed me to an approved repair centre. Paid £130 but it's all official Huawei parts, and I think the repair comes with a warranty.
Edit: I should probably mention that even this official repair scuffed the aluminium and slightly bent the bezel where the guy tried to take the old screen out
Thanks
