Hello guys...
I just made flashable .zip from STOCK RECOVERY for Galaxy ACE S5830...
Its good for get warranty back after backup/restore with CWM Recovery....
It will overwrite CWM Recovery by STOCK Recovery...
DOWNLOAD:
- At attachment
- file "Stock_recovery_S5830_2.3.x._by_ingbrzy.zip" for 2.3.x GINGERBREAD
- file "Stock_recovery_S5830_2.2.1_by_ingbrzy.zip" for 2.2.1 FROYO (not tested by me, please leave a feedback, thanks...)
INSTALLATION:
- Download .zip to the root folder of your SD card
- Install as .zip from CWM Recovery 4 or 5

Which stock build is it?

If i flash a stock ROM from samfirmware, the recovery goes back to stock also. Why is this zip better?

It's a very good solutions when you for example break you USB port in Ace.

I've just noticed the filesize: only 6.6MB Is that normal???

It's a compressed recovery.img inside the archive , the real size is bigger

[dev help] stock kernel extracted

hi
after alot of search i found a way to extract the kernel
some details for how i extract it
i use http://android-dls.com/wiki/index.php?title=HOWTO:_Unpack,_Edit,_and_Re-Pack_Boot_Images
to get boot.img
and i use moto depacker to extract sbf to get system.smg
after that i use unyaffs-x86-win to extarct system,smg
i use dsixda-Android-Kitchen to make work folder
and i use the system and boot
and i use the method that unpack the kernel and i upload the kernel below
..... is there a way to make a rom using the same kernal (stock but extracted) ????
..

I don´t think that we will get any Rom for the Flipout, i have one, too!
The Community is way toooo small for that Phone, and everything is locked by Motorola.
But i changed to Sony Xperia Arc S.

System.img
you could flash the new system.img only directly, or you could repack the new system.img into a new cg39.smg and then repack the sbf and flash.
But repacking cg39.smg has failed for me, that is after flashing the new sbf the bootloader wouldn't accept the new system partition, either because the cg39.smg I repacked is corrupted or signature verification failed.

Cause you need the to sign it with Motorola key that we didn't know it so I will wait until found way to flash rom or to unlock bootloader

try the bootstrappped CWM recovery from the flipout and charm android development forum, you should be able to flash a custom ROM without signing it

We can only try to port rom with stock kernel but we can only use android 2.1 custom rom

you can copy build.prop from system to your computer and open it with nootpad++ and you will found some information

I found yaffs explorer, it give most of the hardware info

how do i make a cwm flashable zip

hi ive got a stock rom with tweaks i want to share with the people here on xda but i dont no how to make a cwm flashable zip and how do i keep the kernal with the rom well kuro kernal to be exact so people dont have to flash seprate?i have a nandroid backup off the rom
well heres a little info about the rom:
its been tweaked with pimp my rom v2
i have borrowed the init.d from hyperion golden master
i have removed bloatware and somemore like email,youtube;and stock music replaced with walkman but you can install these apps from google play
ive added some apps to system like adfree,walman music app,quick reboot,system app installer
the rom is odexed so the internal memory is at its biggiest about 170mb free internal
the rom is complete stock apart from the tweaks i have added.
everthing works NOTHING broken and it doesnt reboot when set to 156mhz min :good:
i will giv credits to the people when this is up and going but cant do nowt because i dont no how to make cwm flasable zips
if anyone has any issues with this post or what im about to do please comment nicely i can withstand creative critissium :fingers-crossed:

Download any flushable zip from xda then delete all without meta-inf folder and place your files in the system folder... Make sub dir if necessary..

Btw I have system,Meta and boot.img from stock ddlf1....if I zip them using winrar without cygwin will it work if I flash via cwm

How to remove the boot image added by GingerIcejelly?

I recently installed GingerIceJelly custom ROM on my Galaxy Y Duos GT-S6102. It added a boot image (that is displayed even before the recovery menu when I boot in a recovery mode). I later reverted back to my stock ROM, but the boot image still remains. I had thought it was part of the GingerIceJelly ROM, but apparently not. If it is not part of the kernel, where is it?
Is there a way to remove it?

Boot.img isn't part of the kernel it's all of it lol boot.img is the kernel
flashing stock Rom via Odin should wipe it

Lol. boot.img is the kernel. The thing you want is the Bootanimaton right? Its in the system/media with the file name of bootanimaton.zip

U talking about yellow pink screen that comes before boot?
Its because of kernel made for the rom..change your kernel and its done..

So, when I restore my phone back to the stock Samsung ROM, doesn't it restore back to the old Kernel?
PS: I am talking about the purple-yellow-etc screen that says "GingerIceJelly with compact kernel etc..... Nitu Bhaskar etc." even before the Samsung boot animation.

Yes you can remove it for this you have to change the kernel of your phone i would recommend to use iduos 1.2.1 as it is very stable with no bugs

1. I have not seen wifi and data network working together as soon as there is wifi data network is automatically switched off...
2 don't know sorry u can ask the developer
3.i guess it's got something to do with the scrolling hack u can again contact the developer for this..
4. is is usually caused by an incompatible update-binary in edify ZIPs. Replacing it with a compatible one, then re-signing the ZIP, will usually fix this error. Our another way ask the Dev or is not for your phone..
5.probably because you have modified the build. Prop file in system /

Can you be bit more precise..We have not tried that GingerIceJelly rom so you should be able to tell the problem clearly maybe uploading an Image will be appreciable.Ok here is what i know that i thought of sharing with you.
When the phone's power is turned on the bios boots the phone to bootloader which Runs the kernel from it.And while the kernel modules are inserted,the phone now loads the rom.
So you now know where the problem is.
yes Download the bootloader and flash it.
Get your odin flashable stock and flash BCMboot.img or some file which only contains bootloader.

1. all radio problem will be fixed in ota update about 2 or 3 days again...
2. this uncomplete project
3. this in no bug!!! but NEW SMOOTH SCROLING METHOD by official firmware DXLK2... actually in DXMA1 scroling method back to old.. but i like this scroling mthod. so, i keep this....
4. will be fixed to.... TweakStyleShop update will be deferent file with ROM OTA-UPDATE... you will need update booth of them..
5. its normally... IT FOR squential update features....
because no ID updatefile that matched...dont worry if any update you will received that, so, it not error or bug.,

Search for twrp j2lte on google you will get j200g recovery on twrp site and download the tar file and then flash it with odin

Could someone tell me the full guide step by step after flashing twrp its humble req

Its stuck after installation completed successfully. No buttons responding. Should I force shutdown by removing battery or holding power button.
EDIT: Forced shutdown and rom booted normally.

Im working on it give me sometime to try to fix...
And if you can wait just flash an old stock rom the issue will b fixed....because after updating to latest stock rom the camera front camera not working for j2 users

Hi, thank you very much for the rom. I am using it on J200G without any issues (including the camera). So it's totally bug free rom for me. In addition, with Apps2SD app and Emperor Tweaks (God Mod) tweaks my device running like it has 1.5 GB ram! Playing games never was smoother before. Many many thanks.

I already did ;

Fisrt time after flash it turns on normally. Mobile working normally. not also the camera issue. But after a single power off it is showing me that (picture included). Even not charging. What shall i do now. Thank u.

Have you unlocked your bootloader if yes then this problem will not occur. But now the frp lock showed up you have to flash the stock ROM again with the help of odin you can download the stock ROM from updato.com for your device this will fix frp lock you can also search how to fix frp Lock on YouTube

I think the fault is , I've turned off OEM unlock under developer settings by mistake. And now while I'm flashing the stock firmware I'm stuck at this (picture included). Please help me. what shall i do now... Thank you for your reply.

Download the lastest stock rom then flash it. This will fix your phone
