Solid green led (notification light) - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My wife's nexus 4 has a constant solid green led on. Tried to power down and charge. No luck.

Nexus One text message notification light

I just got my Nexus One and I love it! One problem is that I'm using Handcent SMS and whenever I get a text, the blinker light doesn't work. Does the Nexus One have that option? My trackball lights up but not the "blinker" light.
if by blinker light you mean the LED on the top right corner then no, that LED is only used to show charging / battery status (Orange for charging, Green for finished charging or charging when the battery is at 90%, blink red when battery is at 10% or lower)

Atrix 4G indicator light

The green LED in the top right, when and when isn't it supposed to light up. When i first got it, it was lit always, now it only lights when i get a text
Mine lights up when I get texts, emails, missed calls, Bluetooth connection, and when fully charged. It only stays lit green continuously when it is fully charged.
Steady Green = Phone is connected to charger and battery charge is 85% - 100%
Blinking Green = Notification (Email, SMS, Missed Call, .. etc)
If you are doubtful or there's anything wrong, you probably need to remove any installed LED color apps (ex. Light flow, LED me know, .. )

Or you can use LightFlow and screw with all of the different colors that LED has to offer.
I have found Blue, Red, Purple, Green, Orange, and Multi-Color. You can make almost any application/event do any color you want, at least that's how it is with the Pro version.

[Q] LEDs in succession

Have noticed that there is an app / mod for the Nexus One that can get the Notification LEDs to flash in succession.
Eg: if received a text (blue LED), an email (Purple LED) and a Tweet (Green LED) the Notification light would flash Blue, Purple, Green as opposed to just Blue which was first to be received.
Just a nice to have really
Cheers
I always wondered this myself I would really like this

powerbutton light...is that also a led notification(multi colored?)

Well I just got my g2 today and was noticing that the power button had a light on it too. Is that also souppoed to be a notification led? is it multi colored? If so how do you enable? Would be nice to have a led on no matter which way the phone is facing.
It is a notification light too, but only blinks once, however it only has one color

That is very lame....a dual notification led that is multicolored would have been awesome.
This feature is begging to be hacked and made into a proper notification light

Agreed. But I think it's truely a single colored led. 1 beep, 2 beep, 3 beep, 4 would be interesting... But I also read it was merely along power circuit and not attached to edit: chip/smarts...
Nah, it only has 1 color, and only blink 1 I think.
Its on everytime u turn on the screen and off after 1 sec.

LED indicator

Hi,
I have succesfully installed light flow and it does what I need - on missed call the red LED stays on - on SMS the green LED stays on (I'm not using led blinking). Now I'm seeking an applicaiton (lightflow seems to not support it) which can blink another led color when there is combination of missed call and sms - for example blue color. The reason why I'm not using blinking is because the phone is only 80% in deep state instead of 99% (tested). Any tips for an app which can do this?
Tasker.
have you tested with cpu sleeper?
